“Love this place! Ate there when they first opened, it was good then but I could tell they were still working out the kinks. Since then, I could tell they've greatly improved and over the past week, decided to eat there twice! Great hot pots with fresh ingredients, great service and good ambience. Been waiting for a spot like this to open up in Placentia and grateful it's up to par with many of the better establishments around here. Support your local businesses!“

“My husband and I are creatures of habit but we decided to try this ramen spot out for the first time. The servers were super friendly and fast. The chicken karaage and ramen came out hot! They also gave us complimentary edamame, which is cool. I'm definitely going to tell our friends and family about this little spot. Plus, the cat robot who runs the food was entertaining to watch.“

“I've never had mazemen before and I would 100% have it again. I had the cheese mazemen and honestly, I felt like that food critic from Ratatouille. I was felt at home from the first bite and by the end of the second one, I was in bliss. I felt like I was transported back to another ramen place I've visited a few years ago where they made the ramen fresh. I wanted the full experience, so I took an allergy pill beforehand so I could try the mazemen and it was worth it. I would totally suffer palpitations again!“

“I've tried most of the sushi places in Brea and this place is legit!High quality sushi and the service was very nice:)Highly recommend if you are a sashimi or sushi(nigiri) lover!(FYI, I ordered the otoro nigiri, salmon nigiri, kurodai nigiri, tiger shrimp nigiri and a salmon handroll which was also amazing)“

“I highly recommend this hidden gem here in orange county. The fish and the quality is top notch. Super reasonable. The waitress and owner was very polite and their so welcoming. I had to order the sushi about 2_3 times. It that good. The ramen is very fresh and so yummy. We are recommending this spot to all our clients friends and family. Great aesthetic and very clean place. Free sake with your order. I really enjoyed my time.“

“The vegan options aren't just plentiful but they also taste amazing. Blends of savory and sweet, crunchy and smooth. The service is also fantastic; they frequently bring out little extras to taste which is a lovely way to expand our palates. It is frequently very busy so show up early if you're not getting that out. Also, the kitchen extractor fans are insufficient; your clothes will smell like fried oil after dining in.Vegetarian options: The vegan Inferno Roll is my favorite but all of their vegan options are amazing. The vegan Hellfire ramen isn't really all that spicy if you have a high spice tolerance.“

We sat at the bar to watch the cooks prepare the ramen.Gyoza was also perfect, the sauce was also quite excellent. Really enjoyed the variety of the music being played as well.“

“After doing some shopping at Brea Mall, my siblings and I worked up an appetite. We decided to stop at i20 Ramen Katsu. We ordered sushi rolls (not pictured; sorry, we were hungry) and a plate of yellowtail. It was my first time trying the yellowtail, and I loved it! It tasted so fresh and well-seasoned. We ordered an Arnold Palmer mocktail, and it was so refreshing. It wasn't too sweet. The service was great. Our waitress was helpful, welcoming, and attentive. The ambiance was very relaxing. I wanted to take a nap, ha! They had classical music playing in the background. I definitely see myself visiting again.“

“Just left, this place is great! We’re from out of town and decided to try this place. My kids loved the Ramen Birria and quesabirrias. I really enjoyed the ramen birria as well. The best part is the service. The guy was on top of it and very friendly. I recommend this place and looking forward to coming again.“

“This spot is definitely one of our top 3 Ramen, karaage and Japanese style fried rice. Me and my girl have gone to a lot of ramen shops in Cali and this is by far in our top 3 stops. Also super reasonable price and portion. Also ask or get the karaage spicy mayo type of sauce. It bangs.“

“Small, husband & wife shop. Beef and Chicken Teriyaki Bento - came with salad, 4pc California rolls, 2pc egg rolls, and rice. Heavy packed with the rice and meats. Tasted actually pretty scrumptious. Only minor complaint would be the beef was tuff.“

“My wife and I have visited this ramen spot several times, and let me tell you something IT NEVER DISAPPOINTS! Owner of this place always provides the best service, and the atmosphere is cozy, it feels personal every time. Appetizers you can never go wrong, doesn’t matter what you choose & the ramen is great. The spicy tonkatsu miso is actually spicy and delicious. Everything the owner of this restaurant has to offer is A+.“

“My family and I decided to try this place for my birthday and we were not disappointed! The food (portion and quality) was great for its price, and the service was friendly and on top of things. The atmosphere was also really nice since it was empty (Wednesday noon) and the decor caught our eye. I suggested this place after seeing it on Yelp for the ambience and food, and we left more than happy with our choice.“

“SO DELICIOUS AND FRESH! I can’t believe how good EVERYTHING was. So happy to have stumbled upon this place! We got the extra salmon crunch spicy burrito which was 100/10. The gyoza was hot, steamy, and fresh. The Tonkatsu Ramen had the most delicious pork I’ve ever tasted in Ramen. 10/10! Can’t wait to come back.“

“Place is ok, there are so many better places though! I would eat here if I didn’t want to go out too far. Black garlic ramen was seriously lacking flavor but the udon was good. Sushi was standard and the hoedeopbap was tasty, just didn’t have much fish. Maybe I’ve been spoiled but service was poor. Girl was trying to talk to me across a loud room and ordering was slow. It was only her working this particular evening so it might have been overwhelming. We were told at 9:10 that they closed at 9:15 (nicely told us to gtfo), but we were confused because google says they close at 9:30. Didn’t matter too much because we were about done anyways. Despite the negatives, definitely give it a try, palettes are always different. It wasn’t so bad that I wouldn’t come here again, could’ve been a one-off night and I always like to give establishments another shot.“

“Overall, my experience at Sushi Fire was delightful. The food was delicious, earning a solid 4 out of 5 stars with its fresh ingredients and creative presentation. However, the service could use some improvement as it took a little longer than expected to receive our orders.“

“Small ramen menu, recommended the spicy tuna rice. Only I do not like is their location. Have to wait outside the building until someone open the door for you. Also, they add 16.16% service charge in the bill. Have no problem with that since their service is not bad.“

“The food is ok and it's priced accordingly ... Meaning you're paying for what you get. It's not grade A and you're not paying for grade A you're paying for something that's just ok. It's not the freshest, best sushi out there but that's ok, it's for when you're on a budget and want sushi idk how else to put it but it's not a bad thing! It's a 4 star because there is room for improvement as far as how quick the food can come out, the presentation, taste, and organization of service. However, the purpose of my review isn't to talk about the food or go in on what can be better, it's to give our server a shout out! She wore heart shaped glasses (super cute btw) and she was AMAZING! Super super patient! The person I was dining with was not the nicest and did not have a good attitude and was rude to our server, I tried to come to her defense when he tried to order a "salmon roll" without explaining himself well enough for any of us (the server and I) to understand WTH he wanted, but the server took it like a champ! I would have totally made snarky remarks or lost my patience but she was just AMAZING! That is a server any employer would be lucky to have! I loved her service and felt she needed a Yelp review shoutout! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! and I apologize for my friends behavior, it was embarrassing (PS I don't know the servers name other than she wore heart shaped glasses)“

“Visiting from out of town and came across this cute ramen spot. The owner was so, so nice, as was the rest of his staff! I got the Black Ramen combo with the Spicy Tuna with Crispy Rice. My husband got the Spicy Tonkatsu Ramen combo with the Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice as well. Both ramen were great! Deeply savory broths and the chasu pork was so tender and flavorful! They also put a generous amount of spicy tuna on the crispy rice, which was a tasty appetizer. This is a perfect dinner on a chilly evening. Also, a special thank you to the sweet owner who gave us two iced teas on the house. Made our night! :)“

“The food here is always incredible and has to be my favorite Ramen spot by far. I always get the chashu ramen in mild with an egg. So bomb I swear I am salivating at the mouth just thinking about it. My favorite ramen. Always drink the broth, that's the best part!! It's so packed with flavor. I can't get enough and even when you take it home to reheat it, it tastes just as flavorful. You get bomb ramen for a great price. The ambience is chill and relaxing. I love the amount of outdoor lighting it gets. I also love the barstool setup it feels so chill. The service is always excellent. The staff are very friendly and helpful, not like some cold restaurants where you feel unwelcome.“

“I really like this restaurant! We have gone here several times after mountain biking Fullerton Loop. “Was a little confusing at first when walking in, they had a menu you can look at as soon as you walk in and the confusing part is there is a kiosk for order strictly to charge either credit or debit cards if you want to pay cash you have to wait for someone to attend the register. You can choose from different types of Ramen or udon noodles or a platter with rice or a bowl of rice with whatever toppings. It's on the pricey side but the food is pretty good in flavor. Restaurant is kept clean and even has a dine in patio.“

“AWESOME FOOD AND SERVICE!!! Please support this small business!!! The food is awesome and at the best price point!!! I had the black garlic ramen and I thought it was great! My mom had the tonkotsu ramen and she loved it! We shared the rainbow roll and thought it was VERY good and fresh! The owners are very nice and hospitable. Their kindness shows in their delicious food. They have lunch specials every day for $9.99. My family and I will be trying their lunch specials next time! Also, if you're looking for somewhere that caters for big parties, they offer catering too! If you decide to come to Suki Suki, it's kind of hidden away and next door to Little Skewer. But it's DEFINITELY WORTH IT!!“

“Hanano Ramen hit the spot on a cold and rainy night! I took my daughter and her friend there since we were craving ramen. They both ordered the chicken ramen and I built my own since I'm not a fan of spicy food too much. The ramen was flavorful, and I very much enjoyed the extra thick noodles! It would be nice if they included the whole egg in the soup, and not just half an egg. We ordered: Spicy Tuna Roll-very good but a bit priceyTonkotsu RamenChicken Ramen“

“Yesterday was Good Friday. My family and I had originally planned to go have dinner at Grab Crab, but the wait was outrageously long. I believe that when I checked in, we had 18 people ahead of us. So, instead, we decided to go Sosom Ramen Bar & Bossam. Luckily, when we got here, it was nice and empty. We got seated right away, and the order was taken really quickly. This was our second time coming to this place. The first time we came, I dont remember much, but we decided to come back anyway. This round was much rememberable. The waiter was on top of everything, making sure we had refills on our water and gave us extra sides. He checked up on us multiple times to see if we needed anything else. Honestly, the food was just perfect. Like 10 min into our dinner, the restaurant started to fill up. The vibe with the customer everyone enjoyed their food. If you want to try Bossam, this is going to place. I don't think they will let you down. Meat is super tender, and the sauce is yummy. Just writing this makes my mouth water.“

“GREEN CHILI SHIO RAMEN every time! Anytime I'm around Buena Park, I make travel plans to be around this Ramen joint for lunch. We are always looking for Tonkotsu Ramen, but you need to try the green chili from here. A little different than the richer broths, but the freshness and spiciness can't be beat. Definitely a must try spot.“

“Stopped by on Saturday noon, but restaurant was not crowded at all. Had a tonkotsu spicy miso ramen. As a ramen lover, the food was OK. I like the soup base and topping but the noodle seems overcooked or maybe it's just the noodle that was mushy and soggy. Tables were unstable, not just one, and I hope that could be fixed.“

“Finally tried this japanese ramen and it was really good! I ordered spicy miso ramen and takoyaki. “Grand opening! We saw the sign and decided to try (assume new owners). Staff was very nice and the food was excellent. We tried their signature “pan fired buns” which we will get again. Next up was the “pork soup dumplings” which were tasty and on target. Then, we tried the “beef roll” which was delicious. Definitely coming back to try other menu items. The owners treated us to their dessert dish which was perfect compliment. Nicely done.“

“Food is excellent, really tasty and would for sure to back. Giving it 4 stars instead of 5 for two reasons.. ambiance is ok, kinda putting lipstick on a pig of a building, but without a full remodel it's a decent job. Second reason 4 not 5 is that I've been to the Santa Monica location and the food / ambience was better, not way better but still better. Yum yum, if you like this type of food and want a casual dining experience, go try it out.“

“Excellent small restaurant with AMAZING prices. You can get a legit bowl of ramen or a bowl of poke for $10! That is unheard of in today's insane greedflation economy.First time here and they had high quality service and eager to please workers taking care of the orders and prep which was nice and made the experience smooth and pleasant. The food itself was very tasty and sizably portioned. I was shocked at the quantity and price. I ordered the sushi burrito for $10 (I usually pay $15 at my favorite poke spot by my house as a comparison). I highly recommend going to this spot before the prices shoot up 40-60% in the next 12 months. They deserve your patronage either way.“
“This is probably the best place in Garden Walk. I had fun looking at all the different things in here. It's located at the far end of Garden Walk on the second floor. What attracted me were the Pokémon Lego sets and different Asian gifts. Inside they had a lot more to see.“

“Ordered karaage with came fresh and tasty. I ordered tonkatsu ramen after asking about the spicy tonkatsu ramen. The waitress said it was spicy compared to hot Cheetos which I don't do so I opted out, the broth was creamy I just prefer more garlic . I could have added on to the bowl I ordered for an additional fee but I decided not to. The chashu pork was a bit salty, my sister ordered the same bowl and shared it was too salty for her. Overall it was good, staff was friendly and the restaurant looked clean“

“A bona fide hole in the wall restaurant. It is pretty hard to come across but the inside is so cute. I went on a weekend and it was empty, so the service was pretty fast, though the service hours are a little short. I had the tonkotsu ramen and was impressed with the serving size. This is the first place I've had ramen that doesn't give you a single paper thin slice of pork belly for protein. It tasted pretty good and they were generous with toppings. My girlfriend had the sashimi rice bowl and she said it was pretty tasty as well. Definitely a great find for the prices they offer.“

“It was an authentic Korean restaurant, and the foods were great, especially their Kimchi was absolutely awesome. We ordered Kal noodle, which was too big for one person, Jaengban noodle, which was a little bit of sweet, and Tempura, which was jumbo size. There was no sampler for small amounts for tempura, so I had to take it home for leftover. It was still good after heating with the airfryer.“

“Food was really good. Had shoyu ramen, it tasted light but flavorful. The portion was very big. I have had better ramen, better egg, better mushrooms, but for the price you get a nice portion so that's why I give this 5 stars because I would come back again. The chasu also tasted very unique.“

“We were in the area and decided to try a new sushi spot and it did not disappoint. The sushi was fresh and tasty, but it was the service that will definitely bring us back. Our server Madison was sweet, knowledgeable and provided service excellence. Madison gave us space to enjoy our meal, but was right there when we needed anything. We have picky kids and her suggestion of teriyaki chicken & rice convinced them to try something new. We will definitely be back!“

“One of the best sushi restaurants I've tried hands down. First the ambience gives you calm and chill Tokyo vibes. Soft lighting and ample room. I went here on a first date after a long wait at Chubby Cattle KBBQ. After signing in at about 8:30pm on a Friday night we were seated no less than 20 minutes later. We were at the bar (which I prefer to watch the sushi chef at work) and he was very entertaining and had an amazing conversation as well. Now to the food, the appetizers were 7/10 as we ordered the mixed tempura, which was good but not anything to brag about, the crab cakes were lackluster and the baked green mussels were the standout but maybe because of the sauce. Now the rolls were a 9/10, my favorites being the truffle hunter which is topped with razor thin sliced raw onion giving it a cut between the earthiness of the truffle oil and also the red dragon roll which was amazing with tuna and garnished with fire and raw garlic. The Cajun roll was surprisingly good. It has the after taste of Tams fries seasoning. The Jessica albacore was fresh, spicy and well balanced it was a specialty roll. Also if you buy 4 rolls of the regular sushi menu(specialty rolls not included) you get 50% off the sushi rolls. We also ordered the Baked Scallop roll, which wasn't bad at all. It was just a generic version of the roll. Thats the only reason they got a 9/10 on the sushi. The pricing was not bad at all. Very worth the price. The customer service. Was stellar. I just noticed I forgot they had ramen. I'll be updating once I've had it.“

“Overall good experience here! The food was delicious & prices were reasonable, especially compared to other establishments within this mall. My only complaint about the food is that the edamame came drenched in salt—lightly salted is one thing, but bathed in salt is another ? I would definitely tell them to skip the salt next time since I like eating edamame to add a healthy touch to my meal, but all that salt basically defeats the point. I would also say to be aware that the appetizers and main dishes come out at the same time, at least in my experience. I was taken aback when we didn't even begin munching on our appetizers yet when they brought out our main dishes already. The portion sizes are pretty good and plates are shareable, though! The only other downside was that my friend and I wanted to eat outside and even though they had an outdoor dining area set up, they told us we couldn't for some reason :(“

“Very small parking lot but lots of street parking. I had a short wait during lunch time on a weekend. The staff are super nice and food comes out very fast Nanchatte tonkatsu ramen: milky creamy and flavor broth. It's very comforting especially on a cold day. Ramen noodles are cooked just right. Deep fried stuffed soft shell crab: a nice appetizer. The outside is very crispy and it appears to be stuffed with imitation crab meat. Omelet rice with pork cutlet and curry sauce: the portion is very large. It was very delicious. Curry sauce is nice and sweet. The pork cutlet is nice and crispy, the meat is juicy. I would definitely get this again and it would be two meals. Definitely stop by when you're craving some comfort Japanese food! The menu is very large and there is a lot to try.“
