“My first time back since I heard it’s under new ownership/management.

I ended up getting the Special BBQ Combo #1 and Seafood Combo #3. The BBQ plate came with chicken, pork and beef with a side of rice and Mac salad. The seafood combo came w fried fish and shrimp. I also got 3 spam musubis.

I have to say, the food blew me away. The portions are generous. The meats were flavorful and has a char without being burnt. The seafood combo was crispy. The spam musubis were proportional! Most places give too much rice to spam but here it’s perfect enough take away from the saltiness.

IPO has plenty of parking and lots of dining spaces to eat inside. I wanted to phone in my order but saw no phone number. When I asked, they said check IG.

They have drinks that I’ll have to try next time.“

“I have been a customer for years. Sam is an incredible individual with customer satisfaction a #1. Reasonably priced and nice portions. Various ways to enjoy fish, shrimp (different sized), fried zucchini, chicken strips, etc. Told a coworker about Mr. Fish and Chips. He stopped in with his wife. No complaints at all. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

“Heading out to Convoy street, you know what I'm looking for.... solid Mexican cuisine, lol. But no joke, this is one of my new favorite spots in San Diego. Ensenada Fish Taco? it rivals the best spots in town. Quesa taco with fried cheese and shrimp? awesome. Their tortillas are great. Their guacamole is served in a molcajete and super fresh and citrusy. Frijoles, I'm ordering some to go for later. Been twice, will be again. Convoy is my Mexican Hot Spot (not Hot Pot=) They do a taco Tuesday but everything is worth the price all day.“

“Delicious food! I ordered the Tilapia plate with the rosemary zucchini & side salad. It came with a good amount of fish so was happy with the protein portion size. In the picture I had already eaten one of the fish filets. 🙊 The service was excellent too. Was greeted right away, offered help to put my order in the kiosk but told them I could manage. I accidentally put in that I wanted Cajun sauce, thinking I was putting in no cajun sauce so the order came out wrong because of my mistake but they were more them happy to remake it for me. “Okay, the food was certainly very good for the price. I had Ahi, it is only offered medium to well done. There was no pink in the middle. Probably a safety issue. Mom had two fish, salmon and another. The salmon was a bit fishy tasting. I am picky! But, overall, the price was low, staff friendly, there was an ample quantity, with rice, and, if I remember correctly, a small salad.
It's an order at the counter, staff bring the food to your table experience. There is indoor and outdoor seating.“

“Let me tell you why we loved this pokes:

1. They have more than 10 options of proteins and you can choose how many scoops you want. My favorite one is tuna.
2. They have 7 different sauces. I chose Fire Loki and it was on point.
3. They mix the protein with the sauce at the moment they are making the poke.
4. They have 17 toppings. I had all of them in my poke!
5. The food is really fresh.
6. And the guy was really patient with us considering I’m a very indecisive girl…

“As a long-time fan of Japanese curry, I was thrilled to finally visit a Curry House CoCo Ichibanya – my first time at this particular chain, though I'm no stranger to the style, having frequented a beloved (and now sadly closed) Curry House in Westwood pre-pandemic. I was so happy to find the menus quite similar, with all my old favorites present and accounted for!
We started with the Garlic Cheese Naan, which was absolutely delicious fresh and hot, though it did lose a bit of its magic as it cooled – so definitely enjoy it quickly! It was also my boyfriend's very first foray into Japanese curry, and I'm happy to report he absolutely loved it. He opted for the spicy teriyaki fried chicken, while I indulged in my classic chicken cutlet. Both dishes were just as rich and flavorful as I remembered, hitting all the right notes of comforting deliciousness.
My only minor disappointment was that they were out of iced coffee, which would have been a perfect complement. Nevertheless, the overall experience was fantastic, and I'm already planning my next visit to have my old favorite, the keema curry! I'll definitely be back when I'm in San Diego.“

“This is what got me hooked on Indian food. They're food is delicious and very fairly priced. The mango lassi is tasty, its a must have with the meal. I've been to numerous Indian restaurants and none of them have come close. I've been to 10 consecutive year michelin restaurants in Thailand, and yes it was delicious, but this place had slightly beat it. “This is one of my favorite restaurants for noodles. I've tried several of their dishes (biang biang noodles, liang pi noodles, big chicken plate, stewed beef noodles, and stewed lamb noodles) and all of them were delicious. I love how the noodles are made from scratch, it's just a completely different taste and texture compared to dried noodles.“

“Came here for lunch with my mom on a Wednesday. Normally, this place has no parking availability. The place is very small but cozy. But during lunch, there were plenty. Walking in, we were seated right away. You can tell how good a restaurant is when you see most of their customers were Korean. My mom ordered the kimchi jigae. She said the broth was very good but was very disappointed that she only had 1 strip of pork belly in the soup. I ordered the galbitang and it came with 2 large beef ribs with the meat so tender it fell off the bones. The broth was also very good that i finished the broth before the meat and noodles. This is a definite place to go to again and again.“

The server was Excellent. I think her name was Jenny. My friend had Orange Chicken.
It was a large portion and the lunch came with either Egg Flower soup or Hot & Sour.
Both were very good.
It also came with delicious Egg Rolls, crispy Won Tons as well as steamed or fried rice.
I had Pork Egg Foo Young and it was Excellent.
Hard to find Egg Foo Young on menus.
Extremely clean and pleasant atmosphere.
I can hardly wait to go back and try other items on their large lunch menu.“

“Thai Time III is a go-to for take-out nights when I stay with friends in Clairemont. Hard to beat their prices and speed for the quality! Wish I had a place like TT III in my neighborhood in the Bay.

We usually get their pad thai, fried appetizers, curries, fried rice, and Thai tea. For the lunch entree with pad thai, an egg roll, and small salad, it's $12.50!

The staff are always super quick and welcoming when we stop by. Parking is also easy in the complex. One of our favorite weeknight spots.“
