“My dad and I went here because it sounded delicious. I must say, this is probably THE best Chinese cuisine in Pedro. The staff were pleasant, and the service was quick. We ordered chicken chowmain, kung-po chicken, pork and crab soup dumplings, and egg rolls. With this wide variety food, I can easily say that it was all fantastic! I will be coming back HUNGRY!!“

My favorite Chinese restaurant in Torrance! The food is so good. My favorite dishes are the stir fried pork with peppers and the sesame balls for dessert. They also have a pretty good lunch special M-F.“

“This place is so good. We decided to try it for the first time, we ended up with the wrong order but they were very kind and remade the order correctly for us. Let me tell you, this is some of the best food I’ve had in a while! There is a bit of a wait but the wait is worth it. When the chef brought order out for us he was so excited and asked us to try it in front of him because he was so proud of his food. Anyone who is proud of what they make makes amazing food“

“I had a really good meal at Juicy Dumpling Factory! The soup dumplings were solid and packed with a lot of juicy broth. I also tried the pan-fried dumplings, and those were probably my favorite—they’re crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and just fun to eat.

The cucumber salad was bomb and super refreshing. I also ordered the beef noodle soup, and I was pleasantly surprised. The noodles were bouncy, tasted fresh, and the broth had a lot of flavor. It looks spicy, but it’s actually much milder than I expected, which made it easy to enjoy.

Overall, a great spot if you’re craving dumplings and comforting noodle dishes. I’d definitely come back to try more from the menu!“

“I order from No. 1 Chef often via Postmates. Something went wrong this time (not their fault, their computers were down), so my hubby and I took a quick trip to pick up our order. The lady was SOOOO nice and helpful over the phone. With that said, the food here is top notch! When I need comfort food, I get the egg flower soup and dumplings. “Fu Sing is some of the best food in this city. The egg rolls (either chicken or pork) are crispy and flavorful. The wonton soup is top notch. I haven’t had a disappointing dish yet. The owner is a great guy. Glad to have them so close. Note this is just take out.“

“Why they only have 4.2 I'll never know. Literally the best spot for a Chinese buffet, not because they have endless options but because they have the right amount of options and theyre clean.
One of the greatest positives for me is the fact that for the options they do have, not a single item was too oily, or too sweet, or too cold, or anything negative that usually makes you feel gross after eating at a buffet. Handrolled sushi/nigiri included in the buffet especially with expensive options like eel is amazing.
My partner and I went yesterday afternoon and were talking about when we would go back again.
Our only 1 request, just a single 1. Was for them to upgrade the chow mein noodles. As they were not gross or cold or anything like that but they were like spaghetti being pale and skinny instead of usual brownish thick noodles. That was all.

“I kid you not, this is some of the best food I've ever had, full stop. The mala xiang guo is a must try, it is so perfect, I've already had it twice in the past week! “We went to Dan Modern Chinese on a Thursday evening around 7:15pm. We had called earlier and were told there wasn’t a need to make reservations. When we got there, they had several tables available and we were seated immediately. The restaurant looks nice from the outside and was also very clean, roomy and comfortable inside. The restaurant doesn’t try to be a fancy affair, rather a casual spot and the furniture reflects it. That’s not a criticism, just a choice they made and it works really well.

Service was quick, friendly and efficient. We got our drinks orders in and it came out quickly. The menu had clearly marked options for vegetarians We then placed our food order. They appear to bring out food as it becomes ready rather than sequencing the meal, so if you prefer a sequence, you should infor your server.

The taste of the food was OK. While I don’t think anything was bad, it wasn’t great either. We asked for chili oil to try and spice it up a little.

Overall, I’d say an average on taste, great service and decent atmosphere. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quick, casual, modern Chinese restaurant!!“

“I've had their Chow mein at friendsgiving and it was one of the best I've had. Just happened to be in the area and had to try some other entrees. Unfortunately the friend that brought it over took longer to reply on recommendations, but the orange chicken and teriyaki chicken were delicious. “Panda Express is one of the most reasonably priced chain restaurants with fabulous nutritious and delicious food. My only issue was that the wok fried shrimp was a little too spicy for me. I note that I really have very little tolerance to hot spicy dishes. I would have liked some warning that the wok fried shrimp had chili in it. Nevertheless, I added some plain rice to my meal when I got home and it was fine. My friend happily eats chili and he loved his meal.“

“Very popular Chinese Restaurant. The restaurant opened at 11:00am and was packed by 11:30 with people waiting for a table outside. It's best to have a reservation before coming out gets that crowded.

Tangerine Chicken is fried with a really tasty tangerine sauce. A little bit crunchy and the flavor is right on.

Sweet and Sour Pork perfectly cooked with Bell Peppers, Onions, Pineapple. Yummy

Pork Chow Fun with noodles that were cooked perfectly with bean sprouts, onions, Snow Peas.

Beef and Broccoli, Beef is tender and juicy with the right amount of sauce and tender broccoli.

Service is awesome and fast.

“I walked in with zero expectations (it shares a name with another Northern Cafe, but they are completely different). We ordered the cold appetizer trio, beef soup, and the Big Plate Chicken (Da Pan Ji). Everything was super authentic, the portions were huge, and the seasoning was spot on. A total surprise! “I love Panda Express as much as the next guy, but as I’m absolutely destroying my plate, I notice something on my noods. I notice that there’s some kind of paper material stuck to it. At first, i thought maybe I had dropped some straw wrapper in my food, & thought nothing of it. But as I continued eating, I noticed another noodle with paper on it. Come to find out, the packaging of the meal was peeling due to the heat of the meal. The chow mein had come out fresh, so I know it was pretty warm. “The price of a 2 entree plate with mein noodles and or fried rice is about 12$ this April 2025 and a soup can run for about the same but you can get the bowls which you can ask for 2 entrees will be 8$. This picture has mushrooms chicken in a mild brown sauce with carrots and squash zucchini. A quart eaten. And pink charsiu pork BBQ. Half eaten. It's one of the most dependably good feelings you can get in San Pedro. Comfort Chinese food at Louie's Number 2 Chinese Restaurant. Number 1 is in Wilmington.“

“I usually don't like to leave reviews on Google unless it's really bad or really good. Well, I'm glad I found this place! The food there is fresh and authentic. The price is very reasonable with a good portion size, especially the combos which are great value. I also tried some of their soups. They are absolutely yummy and soothing. Their service is really good too. I'm very specific about food. I asked a lot of questions on my first visit, but they were very patient and helpful. This place is now my go-to Chinese food spot. Would highly recommend it!“
