“Talk about a hidden gem. I am not from the area but the line outside the establishment was enough for me to stop, park and get in line. I wish I knew the line was for dine in, because I waited in it not knowing it was for dine in! You know a place is good for menudo and birria when the Mexicans are lining up on Sunday for the crudo! If you know you know. It is Morelia style birria and to me, it is very affordable for quality food.
The meat was sooooo tender let me tell you. And the consome, perfect. They have a wide variety of items on the menu but they are known for the birria here so just get that. It's even served with hand made tortillas so you know this is the real deal.
The cold tall mugs of agua frescas looked sooo mouthwatering. The wait for the food after ordering was about 10 minutes but let me tell you, it's worth it!“

“The food is to DIE FOR. The tacos are so tasty with the salsa. The salsa gives some spice. You have to have every topping on it. Tastes like heaven. And the horchata delish. You can taste the cinnamon and the sugar. Put that together with the tacos. A perfect meal. Even though the outside looks a little sketchy. All of the food places that have a sketchy outside has great food. Really good place come here soon“

“Located in a very small "strip mall" type location so I think some people may not give this place much consideration. But... I decided after a decade of living locally to go in and get a taco plate. The atmosphere is not the greatest but the food is amazing! And the portions are HUGE. I was able to get 3 meals out of one $15 plate there. Great flavor, perfect amount of hot sauces, they even put a giant jalapeno on top. I highly recommend. They also serve Breakfast.“

“Had my very first pupusa in my life and loved it. Although it doesn't look sexy delicious, it tastes great especially with the toasty crunchy cheese underneath. Someone recommended Karlita's along Woodside in Redwood City and they do a pupusa good! Takes about 10 minutes to make as they cook it fresh after ordering. Costs about 5.50. I suggest the pork and cheese and add jalapeno to you pupusa for some added kick.“

“Love this place. Honestly, they screwed up my order and gave me some Carnitas Nachos which I cannot eat, but I gave to someone else they loved it. They were able to replace my meal and provide me Shrimp Nachos. I really appreciate their prompt service and I’ve been eating here since 2020 and I will not choose to go to another truck unless I cross the bridge over to East Bay. Thank you. Yumm!!“

“I was doing my laundry next door and wandered over to see the menu. Chilaquiles being my most favorite healthy food in the universe, I consider myself a connessueir of saucy chips.
Aside from my delicious chilaquiles, the atmosphere on this very hot day was cool and inviting inside. The walls were painted a beautiful dappled orange and the art on those walls was cheerful and tropical. I wished to be transported back to Nayarit as sipped the most cold delicious sweet red drink that I can never spell or pronounce properly.
Mexican restaurants might shy away from making very pale, very awkward people like myself as spicy as they normally prepare dishes like Chilaquiles, so I do use a generous dousing of Tapatio on mine, but aside from that the dish was absolutely perfect. The cashier was extremely forgiving of my clumsy attempt at ordering in Spanish and I was so grateful for his bit of English helping me along.
5 stars. I will do laundry next door and eat Chilaquiles here again and again!“
