“The food in the restaurant is wonderful. They could use more help when busy as we often can’t get more refills or drinks since the waiters have a lot of tables. We tried DoorDash three times and the food was bad. They didn’t include tortillas with fajitas, a burrito was uncooked where even the cheese was not melted on it. Go in to dine, but don’t order delivery.“

“We ordered the birria ramen, quesabirria tacos, tacos al pastor with rice and beans, and the esquite. The food was good, but the star of the show was the birria ramen. It was delicious! Nice flavors overall. Also had the horchata and pineapple agua fresca. Both were refreshing and a perfect drink.“

“I come to this Chipotle all the time, and let me tell you m… the employees here are awesome! Everyone always has a good attitude, and they even like to joke around a little, which makes it way more fun to stop by.

There are a lot of people I’d love to give a shout-out to (I’ll add some names later), but I have to say… Ashley is amazing! I usually get my same go-to meal every time, but she’s always got “something I should try” & she hasn’t steered me wrong yet!

They make my order perfect every time, I’m not a fan of those overstuffed burritos that explode… I like mine just the right size. And somehow, they always remember that, which nice!

“We thought this was just another boring Mexican restaurant — WRONG!! We thought the food was going to be average, or worse, underwhelming… once again WRONG.

I might need to raise my criteria for 5 stars, because this place checked all the boxes and then some.

Our waitress was attentive, bubbly, and very knowledgeable, which makes an average meal way more appealing… but in this case, the food needed no help. The items we selected were exquisite, tantalizing, and just downright 🔥!

Simple Breakdown of Meal:
• Chips and guac with the mushroom choriqueso, that's a 5-star treat in itself.
• Pulpo al Pastor (octopus)… my wife said it's 🔥🔥… I wasn't brave enough to try it, but it looked amazing for the 'gram.
• Tacos de Pescado: exquisite and magnifique (I'm sure I butchered that word… but you get the drift).

And to wrap it up and put a bow on it, the atmosphere and artwork bring the whole experience together beautifully.

“A very cool and trendy gem in the city of Long Beach. Located off Willow Street & Hayes Avenue, this spacious but quaint spot has booths and tables w/ chairs for your dine-in needs and offers prompt takeout, as we saw several orders prepared and picked up for enjoyment. I'd heard of Plantita, but hadn't really been exploring Long Beach until recently and mainly with my boyfriend who's always down for a plant-based excursion. The menu has a variety, but not an overwhelming amount and the ambiance matches the decor. It's vegan millennial core for sure! We had the asada burrito and flauta plate. I order the enmolada plate, but there was a little confusion. The flautas were the best mistake ever! So flavor and yummy and baes burrito was a massive favorite both in size and enjoyment. We definitely noted a few things for our next trip. Parking is super limited, but there's street parking in the area (mainly residential along Hayes and neighboring blocks). Plantita has great decor, not too overwhelming. A great staff and they also have a variety of beverage including wine!! And the VeganWineLush (Quintin aka me) loves their wine lol We had an event right after so didn't want to be too full from all the great eats/comidas, but might just go for it all next time.“

“I stopped by early in the morning to grab some lunch and ordered two fish tacos and two shrimp tacos. The shrimp tacos were made to perfection—fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right—but the fish tacos actually stood out even more, easily the highlight of my meal. The only small downside was the special sauce, which slightly overpowered the natural flavors of the tacos.

They serve fresh chips and salsa with your meal, and the salsa leans on the spicier side, but it’s packed with great flavor. The restaurant itself is spotless—super clean, almost immaculate—and the staff are very friendly and welcoming.

The only thing that feels a bit off is the location, which seems tucked away and not as visible as other spots. That said, the food and customer service are absolutely top-notch, and I’ll definitely be visiting again whenever I’m in the area.“

Longer than 30 years ago, I was working with local bands inSanDiego, and after wrapping everything up, we'd go to Albertos or Robertos, and I thought about this while I was eating. All locations are designed the same, same menu and omg... the hotel carrots are still awesome. Of course, today, the prices have increased, but the food was soooo worth it.
