“I visited Classy Hippie on Saturday, January 17th for a quick meet and greet with the owner and some local friends. This place has a quaint welcoming atmosphere, an extensive selection of high quality loose leaf teas, a variety of grab-n-go bites as well as dine in favs, plus a self service option for quick check out. The aroma of fun, service and hospitality pair with a perfect blend of classy hippie that fills the air. I purchased the pineapple mimosa and English breakfast cream tea and couldn’t wait to get it back to South Carolina to savor the delicate blend of craftsmanship from someone who could only produce such perfection as a tea and coffee sommelier. “Having moved from Sacramento 18 years ago, it had been too long since dining at Frank Fat’s. Impeccable service started with the hostesses at the front door and continued at our booth in the back. With many savory appetizers to start, my family made the wise choice to order with the Combination Platter - four servings of several of the best appetizers. Entrees are served family style allowing everyone at the table to enjoy each dish that is ordered. My favorite was the Honey Walnut Prawns, perfectly cooked prawns with a nice crunch. The Hunan Chicken Chow Mein with crunchy noodles was a table favorite, as was the Mixed Vegetables Chicken. Our server was Luis who provided attentive table service throughout our delightful meal.”

The food is absolutely delicious across the board. From the wine to the olives, every bite feels thoughtfully curated. The pizza is outstanding, the lasagna is rich and comforting, and everything we tried was full of flavor and made with care. You can genuinely taste the quality and love put into the dishes.

It’s one of those rare spots where both the ambiance and the food are equally memorable. A truly five-star experience from start to finish. We will absolutely be back.

And 3 enchilads beef. Chicken and cheese. It was just awful. Tortillas were store bought and extra charge, sauce and salsa for chips tasted like out of a jar or can. Beans were good.Waiter was surly felt not one smile beneath that mask.(I saw the black girl's comment) We are white if that helps) Service was fast. Ambiance is great but I was just really cravin some good authentic mexican. We won't be back.left most of our food on the plate. $79.00 for 3 of us.”

“Had dinner here on 1-15-25 party of 3. Very good service. Espresso martinis were great! Started with artisan bread and Brussel sprouts. It was a little weird to have the pancetta on the side vs mixed into the dish but everyone agreed we really liked them. Then we had Dungeness crab arrabiata, duck fat seared scallops and the short rib. Favorite dish was the short rib! The arrabiata had a good variety of seafood but I wasn’t a huge fan of the squid ink tonarelli. The scallops we tasty just tiny and too few, so that was the least liked dish. Finished off with a flourless chocolate cake that was good. Next time we want the brie appetizer! I’d dine here again but it hasn’t moved into my top 10. We each had a cocktail to start and shared a modest bottle of Pinot. Out the door $400.”

But it is consistent. Open 24/7,friendly staff, in past 16 yrs + I've gone there I've never had a wrong order or cold food. Prices are reasonable and made to order ,which means it's always super fresh and fast!. Night or day it's a good bet. I recommend the cheese and onion with red sauce enchilada with a chicken taco beans and rice,yum!
or the chorizo breakfast burrito ,which is Huge. the morning line gets long but moves quickly and well worth the wait. never dealt with a grump in the bunch cause we were all there for the same delicious reasons!
So what I'm saying is you can go for the same old fast food crap or do something nice for your tummy and go to Carolinas! Don't forget the 🌶️”

Today I tried the peach cobbler cheesecake and it was love at first bite! I've had his lemon cheesecake, strawberry, pumpkin pie, churro, ube, blueberry, and Oreo cookie flavored cakes and not a single one has disappointed me. If you can't make it to the Farmers Market he has a shop in DOCO at 405 K St, Sacramento. Perfect spot for a date night or if you're craving something sweet.

“We visited Seasons Coffee Roasters this morning and we could not have possibly asked for a better way to start our day. The food was cooked to absolute perfection, was fresh as can be and hit the spot entirely. The hot mocha latte was to die for with such a classy design of hearts in the cream, the iced caramel latte phenomenally brewed, and don’t even get us started on the grilled cheese panini. The crunch of the crust and the oozing of each bite literally made us forget every care in the world, the prosciutto and bruschetta absolutely unrivaled, and to top it off the snickerdoodle cookie was as expertly made as we could ever hope for. The customer service was out of this world, huge thanks to Sam who made sure we were taken care of in every way. And the coffee shops vibe and energy provided the most pleasant vibe and energy so much so that we will most definitely visit again. Highly recommend.”

The restaurant was busy, but he made you feel you were his only table! This was a direct reflection on management- Manager Dawn was pitching in and assisting all while with a smile on her face. She was attentive, professional, and courteous. Highly recommend Chevys! Ask for Antonio’s section, you won’t be disappointed!”

“I tried the chorizo burrito and it was absolutely delicious! It was packed with flavorful in-house chorizo, scrambled eggs, grilled bell peppers, and onions — all perfectly balanced and not greasy at all. Every bite was full of flavor. I also loved that they have a salsa bar, which really lets you customize your meal. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. Definitely a must-try spot in Sacramento — highly recommend”

“Went for Mother’s Day. Wait for food was kinda crazy 1.5 hours for the appetizer. Food tasted good but portions were extremely small for the $85pp . I got the steak with fingerling potatoes and fava beans. I literally had 2 potatoes, 5 beans and possibly 3oz of very rare steak. Needless to say $300+ later… we are still hungry and hitting a drive thru”

“One Star- The food was not what I expected. The flavors of Italy was not there. The seafood pasta- clams and Musscles, we undercooked, shrimp and scallops were low quality and bland. 0 flavor. Sauce was very lacking in flavor. Couldn't tell if there was garlic in it or not. The bread had a distinct hint of burnt flavor on the back of my tounge. Not sure if you need to request bread or parmesan or what but I saw lots of people getting extra service. I definitely won't be back and maybe thats the point of giving some folks bad food or service is so their kind won't come back? Who knows but mission accomplished. I nor anyone I know will be back.”

Our server went above and beyond—gracefully and patiently managing a party of seventeen, from keeping the kids happy to ensuring cocktails flowed seamlessly between multiple courses. She made us feel completely taken care of, with no request too big or small. Mike, the manager, was incredibly gracious and accommodating, helping make our celebration luncheon an unforgettable experience. Kelly, the event coordinator, was responsive and helpful, promptly answering every question in the lead-up to our event.”

“My second time here and the ambiance is great! Love the little outdoor area. It's shaded area, perfect for reading or studying. The food does take a little while (waited about 20-25 minutes), but the crepes are crafted beautifully and taste just as great!”
