I was greeted as soon as I walked in and my first visit was nothing but a very nice experience. Two young men behind the counter seemed really friendly and helpful. The waiter was the worst service i've ever had, he didn't even put in my food order, he didn't even come to give us a check , we had to go back and forth and ask for dessert at the counter. And as we left , he didn't even say thank you.

But I want to say that we had the best busser ever! He filled our waters constantly, he noticed that I wasn't getting my food and checked on me, and he's packed my food up. He actually cared about our family and our food and our experience. So thank you to him, he saved our experience.“

“I have been here a few times now. Great food, great service, combined with a modest price. Get there for the early bird and the deals are even better. I have enjoyed their breakfast multiple times. It’s got that charm that I absolutely love when walking into a breakfast/lunch restaurant. We had the cake delivered on the day off. The cake was amazing - looks and tastes great! Our guests devoured it an had been asking who made the cake!“

“I love this co-op bakery, and I'm very happy that they have a selection of gluten free items that are often on the shelf next to each other. If you have Celiac Disease like me, that's music to your ears. As for the remaining items that are next to gluten full items, the gluten free items are at the end of the shelf allowing for selection of those items that have never been touched by gluten.“

The cases were full of some of the freshest & delicious looking French pastries, sourdough bread loaf varieties, cakes & cupcakes. We went with the strawberry cream. They even put a Happy Birthday message on it for him! The cake was delicious too boot!“

I’ve been coming to Dynamo for years and somehow had no idea. I always just grabbed a donut to go or picked up a box for coworkers and left.

This time I saw the “patio” sign, grabbed a coffee and a donut, and sat down—and it completely changed everything.

It’s sunny, quiet, and weirdly perfect for getting work done. Great donuts, great coffee - but the patio is the hidden gem.“

This neighborhood bar really feels like a local spot. Well lit during the day with ample counter seating and tables, along with a billiards table for some friendly competition.

Bartender was really friendly and eager to share what beers and ciders were on tap. Selection mostly made up of local drafts meaning the quality was really good.

Love finding these little neighborhood gems and I hope they continue to last for as long as possible.“

“I love this spot! My sister used to work here while I was growing up as well as a few friends while I was in my teens. It has always been a peaceful place to draw, read, catch up with a friend, and sip coffee with a snack. They have changed ownership a number of times and always retained good quality! From time to time a man will come in and play piano on the out of tune wooden one. Mostly 60s-early 80s music, he knows all the lyrics too! The landscape artwork by Pam Anderberg is really phenomenal and matches the coastal energy of the cafe. Couldn’t speak higher of a cafe in Pacifica!
The line can be a bit overwhelming on weekends if there is an event. When there was a running event I think it took 20 minutes to get a coffee and muffin.

Reducing a star because of a female barista here that gave terrible service. I asked if I could order two separate single shot espressos, instead of a double shot to which she responded “take your scam somewhere else this is a small business etc.” and generally took a harsh tone. I still ordered and just got a double shot. When I gave her cash for this, she tossed the change back across the counter from my purchase which slid onto the floor. This interaction has stuck with me as I’ve never had a problem visiting this cafe before. Anytime I see this barista behind the counter I decide I’ll just have coffee at home instead.“

“Great neighborhood gem, family run spot serving Thai and Laotian dishes that had some unique dishes not commonly seen at a typical Thai spot. The black metal doors were a bit discrete, but it's quite spacious inside. we were a party of 3 for lunch and there was no wait. We ordered 4 dishes and the food came out at a good pace.

Would recommend: Green curry - great flavor, mild but creamy. The Champa Sampler with their Laotian sausages and fried spring rolls (skinny, cut into chunks) and some crunchy fried onion (?) or nuts on a bed of white rice. I preferred dipping their rice noodles on the side better than the rice.
Their fried appetizers were hot and crunchy - like their fresh fried rice balls. They have good flavored soup that warms the soul!

Pork belly stir fry with Chinese Broccoli was a pass - the meat was sliced not cubed and fried too hard to chew through. The greens were a bit too greasy from the meat.
Larp (Laotian salad) was a bit too watery and salty! The fish sauce fully soaked the leafy greens.

We will come back and try Padem derm (yellow curry) and Khao piak (noodle soup dish).“
