“So a quaint and beautiful bakery. Had the chocolate almond croissant on sourdough bread. It was such a beautiful combination of sweet and sour flavors. The pastry was buttery and the chocolate filling was sweet, maybe little too sweet. The proprietor of the business is such a sweet man. He helped me picked out a good pastry and billed me up right away so that I don’t miss my train. Overall, loved the pastry and business.“

“Came here for a friend catchup and we got seated and had a reservation beforehand.

Good:
- The ramen came out very quickly - I got the classic ramen bowl
- The portion size was good - I was very full by the end
- A nice place to catch up - it's got japanese izakaya vibes and more dimly lit

Bad:
- The soup was really salty so it felt like it was unhealthy to drink too much of it

Overall this was a solid place to have an extended catch up and the ramen was quick and tasty.“

I was greeted as soon as I walked in and my first visit was nothing but a very nice experience. Two young men behind the counter seemed really friendly and helpful. The other customers in the store at the time seemed very happy. I came for alfajores today, but I will definitely go back for more alfajores and other goodies!“

“I have been here a few times now. Great food, great service, combined with a modest price. Get there for the early bird and the deals are even better. I have enjoyed their breakfast multiple times. It’s got that charm that I absolutely love when walking into a breakfast/lunch restaurant. They have fresh veggies in the back, great frozen flatbread selection, and good cookware options too. “I love this spot! My sister used to work here while I was growing up as well as a few friends while I was in my teens. It has always been a peaceful place to draw, read, catch up with a friend, and sip coffee with a snack. They have changed ownership a number of times and always retained good quality! From time to time a man will come in and play piano on the out of tune wooden one. Mostly 60s-early 80s music, he knows all the lyrics too! The landscape artwork by Pam Anderberg is really phenomenal and matches the coastal energy of the cafe. Couldn’t speak higher of a cafe in Pacifica!
The line can be a bit overwhelming on weekends if there is an event. When there was a running event I think it took 20 minutes to get a coffee and muffin.

Reducing a star because of a female barista here that gave terrible service. I asked if I could order two separate single shot espressos, instead of a double shot to which she responded “take your scam somewhere else this is a small business etc.” and generally took a harsh tone. I still ordered and just got a double shot. When I gave her cash for this, she tossed the change back across the counter from my purchase which slid onto the floor. This interaction has stuck with me as I’ve never had a problem visiting this cafe before. Anytime I see this barista behind the counter I decide I’ll just have coffee at home instead.“

This neighborhood bar really feels like a local spot. Well lit during the day with ample counter seating and tables, along with a billiards table for some friendly competition.

Bartender was really friendly and eager to share what beers and ciders were on tap. Selection mostly made up of local drafts meaning the quality was really good.

Love finding these little neighborhood gems and I hope they continue to last for as long as possible.“

“This is a takeout only place and their falafels are VERY GOOD! The fries and hummus were just okay. I ordered Heaven's Pita Pocket and it was HEAVENLY, ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐! So savory for a vegetarian dish. Great texture that melded well with the sauces in this Pita Pocket. The Home Made Fries were okay and the Hummus was okay, maybe ⭐⭐⭐. I'd recommend coming for the Falafels and will be returning just for that!“
