“Cute homey Japanese vibes. It’s a small restaurant so I can see there’d be a wait on busy days. Luckily we only had to wait about 5 min. The menu is straightforward. Comfort Japanese dishes. Service was great, they’re super nice and very attentive!

The tempura was good, sauce was great too. Katsu was fried perfectly, sauce was tangy and fantastic, just wish the pork was more moist/tender. Karaage was just okay, probably wouldn’t order it again, most of the flavor came from the sauce. My dad loved his eel bowl set, flavored and cooked well. My katsudon bowl was delicious, again katsu was a little dry, togarashi is a must with this bowl. And the cold soba noodles were great, the sauce dip was perfectly seasoned and noodles were perfect texture, very refreshing to eat.

“I enjoyed eating the food here but thought it was a little pricey for what it was. The ambience was great. The karaage was tasty but the amount of chicken was pretty small for the price. The dipping noodles were good with a nice chew and the broth was pretty flavorful and salty. Because they have to cook the broth for so long to concentrate it, it is more expensive than normal ramen. One of the issues I run into with dipping ramen is the fact that around halfway through eating, you end up with cool/cold food because the broth doesn’t stay hot enough to offset the noodles and stuff you’re dipping in.

Overall, I’d come back here if I was craving dipping ramen but would probably find somewhere else if just looking for normal ramen.“

“The atmosphere and service are excellent! Unfortunately the food was just okay. Lacking flavor, I got the spicy quartz and my girlfriend got the standard quartz.
The chicken in the ramen itself was pretty tasteful. Had a hint of sweetness.

The chicken karage was excellent.

Overall it was okay. We'll continue to try the other ramen places on the same street.

“Love the food, I initially doubted the portion size but it turned out to be more than enough. Downside is that it gets really packed whenever I go there and there's at least 30+ minutes of wait, and be prepared for your food to come out a little later than you'd expect. Come with some company and you're good.“

“I am only rating the popcorn chicken Ramen! That is the item I've had 4 times. The restaurant is kinda hidden. If you ever go there, they are right in front of the alhambra carwash and its in a brick building.

The chicken is mild. Medium or hot spice level. Soup is super hot and tasty.

It is quite a treat. You should definitely try this item if its your 1st time. If you are mexican and like spicy like me get medium spice and xtra spice on the side in case you like it very spicy! Will definitely keep going.“

“Their Tan Tan Men Ramen are the best! I love how I have the opportunity to customize our ground meat choices (I.e. ground pork or ground chicken). Topped with nori, baby bok choy, bean sprouts, hard-boiled egg, and ground meat, the ramen have the perfect flavor. Their chicken karaage were the best too!“

“Simple and straightforward menu. It doesn’t make you feel overwhelmed looking at the menu. Staff are super friendly and attentive! Indoor seating only. Very clean! Portion is very affordable, I ordered one bowl and ordered extra noodles and an empty bowl. It was perfect for my two kiddos to share!

I really wanted to try the calamari but it was sold out. So definitely gotta come back next time to try it.

They have good mix of long tables for bigger parties and small tables for 2-4ppl. They can adjust the level of saltiness of the ramen which is awesome! Never been to a ramen spot that has offered that before.

“I've been to quite a bit of ramen spots around southern California and this one hits the spot like few others do. The Tonkatsu ramen has such a rich and flavorful broth like no other! Absolutely a must get, plus the Shoyo ramen is so comfortable and delicious. If you want good ramen this place is a must visit.“

“Solid, straight to the point spot for ramen. I got the Kai Red ramen and wife got the Tonkotsu Classic. The Kai red had a good kick, not too overbearing and the soup had a nice consistency. Wife enjoyed the Tonkotsu classic, nothing fancy, just well balanced and very familiar in a good way. For appetizers, we also got Takoyaki and Sesame Fried Chicken, which my daughter really enjoyed. I thought the Takoyaki was the sleeper. The Kai's Boba Milk tea definitely came in handy to cool us off, from both the ramen and the heat outside. “This place was absolutely amazing! I normally don't review a place until I've been to it at least three times, but this is my second time and I just had to review it. The first time we came we ordered ramen and it exceeded our expectations and we also got the yakitori platter which was great because you get to try a little bit of everything. The broth on the ramen was super tasty. And we also got a tea which was really good. The Negima yakitori was my favorite! The decor of the place is super nice too and the music playing is really good. It's also very clean and you can tell a lot by how clean a restroom is. The second time we tried the tonkatsu omurice and it did not disappoint. It was absolutely amazing! The curry sauce that goes on top is 🤌 definitely a shareable size and you can get some yakitori on the side. For dessert, we had the cherry blossom jelly and it is one of the most unique things I've ever tried. It is a very refreshing dessert. The staff was also really nice and super helpful both times that we came. Asking if we had any questions on the menu and also just trying to make our experience the first time a really good one. This place is definitely 5/5. Highly recommend.“

“Tried this place out as part of our monthly ramen runs.
The food did not disappoint. We got two ramens (classic tonkotsu and the shoyu ramen) the flavor of the broth and the tenderness of the meat were the highlights. We liked that this place seems to offer really good value and price for the quality of food. We also got the pork belly bowl and Philadelphia roll and they were better than I thought they would be.
We'll be back, I recommend trying this place if you're looking for a top, solid ramen joint.“

“Solid ramen spot, got the classic ramen recommended by chef as well as their limited time curry ramen. Both options were filling and delicious. I personally prefer the pork belly over charsiu but was surprised they didn’t cut it in half to make it easier to eat this time. Still delicious and would come back when craving a bowl.“

“Had a great experience here. Got pot stickers and the mild beef ramen and it was so good. If I lived closer I’d come more often. I think I spent around $20 for my meal. The workers were so nice and the one guy was asking every single person that came to the counter if they were okay/ if they enjoyed their food which I thought was very sweet. Music was a bit loud but I was by myself so that’s the only reason I noticed. Highly recommend going if you’re looking for a ramen spot and it looked like they had a lot to choose from sushi wise.“

“Came here during happy hour and got seated right away. Our waiter was super friendly and we loved that they had a sharing platter for $64.99 for 4 different rolls and than we also got a Isa Geso. The portion size for the Isa Geso was so worth the price. The rolls were so fresh and everything tasted amazing. The garlic aioli was so good for the Isa Geso. We'll definitely be back for sure.“
