“Amazing food 👍😊great taste and very creative 😉 excellent service! Highly recommended 👍”
“This is a great Japanese restaurant. We had a great time. The food was excellent. The atmosphere is quaint and romantic. You can sit at wooden tables with chairs or sit on a mat at authentic Japanese style tables. I highly recommend this restaurant for fun casual dining or for a romantic date night.”
“My friend and I came for lunch, and we had a lovely afternoon. I got a poke bowl that was fresh, filling, and flavorful. My friend had a gorgeous sushi roll and miso soup. I ordered the house sale hot, and she got hot tea. The service was prompt and friendly without being overbearing. The overall vibe was popping over to a friend’s house and they just happen to have banging Japanese food. It was also a great value. I plan to come here again for sure.”

“This place is a staple in the Washington Manor area. I'd guess that the service is what people come for. They're always super nice and they're never so crowded that you get overlooked or forgotten. It's an old family/meeting spot for us around here so I fully support them.”
“Food taste very good but you get more rice and beans than oxtails. The only seating area is outside the restaurant and I think they have maybe only two tables. So it's best to place your order over the phone or just order when you arrive.”
Restaurants with Delivery
“Ordered to go. It was packed inside which is a good indication they’re good! I’ve never had a beef Shawarma, only chicken, and I really enjoyed it. The side Mediterranean salad was delicious, both were great. The man who gave me my food was very nice. I’ll be back.”

“FYI: Not a Malatang spot anymore. Google gotta fix that.
Really really good food.
Orange chicken was nice and crispy, good cuts and well trimmed.
Cumin beef was tasty, well spiced, and had a good amount of fresh ingredients.
Chow Mein was really nice as well. I think it was chicken and minced pork belly. Pork belly was well spiced and the noodles werent too oily. Cabbage had some nice browning on it.
Steamed dumplings were good. I cant think of anything specific to say but definitely tasty and fresh.
Cute place. Definitely a family run place, nice and cozy. Will be my go to when I want Chinese. Highly recommend you give it a try.”
“i love this family owned restaurant. I go so much the owner gave me a discount! the service is incredible the food is fresh and tasty the atmosphere is welcoming I love this place”
“They just hosted our annual Post-Thanksgiving Dinner. We were a party of 30. So much amazing food, and the service was wonderful. There are some special dishes we ordered that needed to be pre-ordered. “House Special Crab and Curry Crab” did not disappoint. We will definitely be back to try more dishes when we are in town.”
Outdoor Dining
“This hidden gem in san leandro offers amazing flavors with great quality, the service is spectacular, short wait for the food, they also serve lunch all day which is great for those getting off work in the early morning, not sure what they put in the food but be careful cause it will have you coming back for more. Definitely recommend.”
“I kept wondering if Mrs Craig Vanessa was really an expert trader like they say, that she is not a scammer like the others, then I contacted her and I was shocked and amazed that with just $1,500 I invested, Mrs. Craig Vanessa helped me managed my account and after 7 Days of trading, I made my first withdrawal of $16,700. I'm here to testify the good work of her after she made a good profit for me in my investment. She's reachable via WhatsApp with the number on her Facebook: Mrs Craig Vanessa”
“Menu selections are varied and excellent. The minestrone is a very good specialty. Portions are generous. Steaks are excellent and generous in portion size. Breakfast and egg dishes are always consistent. Service is cheerful. Salads are great especially with an Elio’s Greek style dressing..”
“I ordered here last week for my whole family. They made their meat so soft compared to other restaurants. Also, they have excellent customers service. They all are very nice and friendly. I only tried Grill Porks and Shrimps Vermicelli. I’ll definitely come to try noodle soup next time. I highly recommend this restaurant. ❤️🥰🍲🍛🥢🍴”
“I love this restaurant!! This place is probably my favorite restaurant I've ever been to. They have so many options and everything on the menu is delicious! Their vegan pies are amazing!! They have an extensive brunch menu with the flexibility of adding a pancake or french toast side dish to your order. I love sweet and savory for brunch but I can never finish those huge breakfasts so this place is perfect for me!! On top of that the cafe is so cute and the staff is so friendly. I loved it so much I went twice during my one week stay!”
“This is a well overdue review. My family and I came here a few weeks ago for some pizza to take home and grabbed a beer while we waited. Collin was the one who helped us. Amazing service & very knowledgeable. Our favorites were Purple Potato & Webbs Double Sausage pizzas. You’ve also gotta try their Bacon Arugula Salad…. Fire!”

“Just went on Wednesday as I was passing through. I didn’t realize that they were open do to the farmers market being right there as well. Went inside and it was beautiful. The staff was friendly and attentive. I ordered the shrimp po boy and it was very good. I will definitely be back.”
“Extra busy here tonight. Yet we were still seated right away. Service was slow. We had to wait a looong time for our orders to be taken. But the food came quickly. The Short ribs was yummy. The sliced pork was yummy. The seafood pancake was yummy. The beef rib soup was different than what I was used to. Peppery and I liked it!!! Korean restaurants tend to be more expensive but you get better quality food.”
“If you are ever feeling under the weather and want to get something soupy/noodly- this is the spot to be. Ten Seconds will satisfy your soupy/noodly cravings. I love how their signature and simple R1: The Original Crossing Bridge Rice Noodles come in such a cute hot little pot along with little plates of side dishes that you can either opt in or out (also they have corn which is amazing). The pot is very hot so please proceed with caution* The pricing here is very affordable to their portion size and they have variety of choices for you to choose from. I have always enjoy the authentic chicken broth soup because it is very comforting and makes me feel like home. I recommend coming here if you are tired of eating pho because this place have good hot noods”
“Yes, loud Cantonese and Mandarin spoken, but if you are clear with your English order, you will get good quality dim sum quickly.
Two tiny 2 person table, and a high wall table with 4 tall chairs for sitting, as this place is oriented for to-go. They have several keep-hot boxes to hold many doordash calls, so you do not have to find parking in a medium size lots that often overflows with meal times from other yummy foods places in the plaza.
Get the har gow and shu mai!
I also enjoy their fish congee.”
“Came here around 10pm. We were hungry and this place just opened and was open late so it was perfect!
The food was DELICIOUS. We got a few dumpling plates and each of us got a soup. I got the sweet and sour soup and it was so good 10/10.
I ended up coming again for the second time the same week and got the black truffle dumplings and brisket soup and it was also really good 10/10. This place has become my new food spot”
“Dishes are fresh and well prepared. Excellent drink list. They have a bar themed portion of the restaurant, booth, seating, and countertop seating. Open till 10 last call for food is 930. Large parking lot behind the restaurant makes it easy to always find a place.”
“The sushi here is seriously good - fresh ingredients, creative rolls you won’t find anywhere else. The Fuji Roll? Absolutely delicious. Prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly, even if the vibe inside feels a bit cramped and could use a deeper clean. It’s a small spot, so I’d recommend takeout or delivery over dining in. For the quality of food though, it’s worth it.”

“The McDonald’s in San Leandro is definitely a standout for the area. It gets very busy—especially before dinner time, but honestly, it’s packed almost any time of day. That said, the customer service is impressive. The staff does a great job keeping the line moving and making sure everyone is taken care of.
We ordered a Happy Meal and asked about specific toys, and the employee was super patient and helpful. Even with the rush, they made sure we got what we needed. The drive-thru can be a bit hectic, so just be patient—but overall, great experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!”
“This place is so wonderful the people were so sweet this spot is a hidden gem 10/10 would come here an again the culture is so beautiful and the food was so good.”
“Quality food, beautifully presented, at a modest price. I love supporting this standalone restaurant that has been here for ages, and is part of Ashland's history.”

Takeout Restaurants
“What a pleasant visit and top notch hospitality.
The folks at Bluevird are super nice! We walked in not realizing that they were sold out, they only had a couples slices of cheese pizza left and since we had a little one with us, we ordered that along with 2 cannolis. Not only did they give us extra cannolis, they also gave us extra pizza since they had excess from a different order. Although dine in was technically over, they said we could eat and at no point did they try to rush us out or even started cleaning.
The food: the cheese pizza was very good, the cannolis freshly piped. I’m coming back for sure!”

“Fantastic place to get tacos after a round of disc golf at Oyster Bay. Portion sizes are large, prices are good, the staff is super friendly, and most importantly, everything is delicious! The queso birria were outstanding and the carnitas was excellent, both in a taco and in a burrito. As a side note, the washroom was *immaculate*! My only minor niggle is that I didn't think their salsas were up to the caliber of the rest of their offerings. The music was a bit loud for me which is why I gave atmosphere 4 stars rather than 5, but it might be because I'm old. I will definitely be returning!”
“I did a surprise blind door dash delivery from Texas to my grieving family across town where you are locally and they were appreciative, happy and said it was delicious “it made our morning” and “never thought i would be drinking a lavender tea”If we every make it that way I will come try for myself. 🤜🏼🤛🏼 thanks”
“A small hole in the wall right behind the main Safeway in downtown, but, it’s so good! The burgers are generously portioned and there is enough variety for anyone who finds themselves craving a burger but wants it to have unique ingredients. They have enough outdoor seating for larger groups. They offer a half/half of fried and onion rings, which we recommend, too!”
“I have been going here for years. They have some of the best rolls in town. I always get the dragon roll, E14th roll, and the crunchy roll. So very yummy 😋”

“Nick the Greek is always a spot that's fairly consistent across all of their locations (at least the ones I've been to). It was nice to be greeted when I walked in and the cashier had welcomed me in with a smile. It's been a while since someone welcomed me or my friends into a restaurant with a smile, so this was appreciated. This location also had plenty of seats and since I went during lunch, I could really sit anywhere.”
“Even After devouring my torta all I could say was “ wow that was fire” over and over… I got half steak and half chicharrón , the steak was juicy and flavorful and the chicharrón was phenomenal and had the perfect crunch to go with the soft bolillo roll, all the toppings combined were perfect.. from 1 to 5 stars ⭐️ I give it 10 stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️from the customer service, to the wait time to the flavors ?????”
“Came here with my family and the food is absolutely amazing. Very authentic and amazing salsa. If the salsa is good you know the food Is good. The staff are very attentive and make sure your set while you enjoy your food. Best little family restaurant in the area!!”

“In-N-out Burger in San Leandro, California is a outstanding restaurant serving tasty, affordable burgers, drinks, fries, and shakes. The location is just off the 880 freeway and in next to Walmart. There is plenty of parking and the restrooms are clean. Of course the burgers are very good!”
“We had a Lion King Roll (this was baked so was a bit surprised but it was good), tonkatsu donburi, and a 2-item bento (beef teriyaki and tempura). Good value bento box…good sized portions and tasty (really enjoyed the salad which had a delicious creamy sesame dressing). My wife enjoyed the donburi which I had a bite of and thought it was delicious. We will be back to try other things on the menu.”
Cheap Eats
“We just found this place 2 weeks ago and have been back THREE times already, prolly gonna go tonight! I found their food to very worth every penny and the FREE chips & salsa is too good to be FREE! Other places we have gone to charge for their chips & salsa, but here they are complimentary and with free refills, I've had the steak fajitas, the carnitas plate, and a steak quesadilla, and the food gets better and better 😋”
“Best pizza in San Leandro without doubt. It starts with a perfectly pillowy crust that elevates everything that's put on top (he's even playing with some finishing salts to really knock it out of the park). Have had the Orchard and the Smokehouse and I can attest that the balance of savory, sweet and heat is really dialed in on both of those. Lastly, the cheesy garlic bread is so good that my wife and I always eat more of it than we mean to while the pizza finishes cooking. Great assortment of beverages in the cooler, and a really friendly proprietor that loves to talk shop about his creations (or the Warriors, if they're playing). Will keep coming here for my pizza, for sure.”
“My old pal Limney Gilbert got kicked in the mouth by one of Bucktoothed Mary's horses a month ago, and he's had his mouth wired shut since then. This morning they cut the wires! He asked me to bring him a ham sandwich and chips from the Joaquin Deli because he's been drinking all his meals from a straw, and he's ready to chew! It's my first time at the Joaquin Deli and I'll tell you what...it's clean, the ingredients are fresh as can be and the prices are right where they should be! The workers put the customers first, and not because the boss told them too, they do it as if they owned the place! Very refreshing in today's world! 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆”
“I got number 14, the broth and noddle came out hot and super delicious. Only one type of meat on here but tasty. Overall very welcoming atmosphere and server was nice and friendly. Clean eating area with lots of tables and a big table for a big family size to eat also.”
“I live in walking distance and I absolutely love this place. The food is excellent, you can smell it down the street to draw you in lol. It's a small corner restaurant with a lovely Spanish culture atmosphere. Super cool owner and staff. Love love this place??
Parking: They also hold events for those who are interested in doing large group events.
Kid-friendliness: Spacey, kid high chairs for the small children.”
“This is our go-to for breakfast. Good ingredients that are fresh (who sources their eggs??? They’re always so good!), good cooking, and that classic diner experience. We look forward to slow weekends and days off when we can go in and grab breakfast. It’s the kind of place you go to for five or six years before realizing you’ve been going for years.”
“Great bar and atmosphere. Was visiting a friend in the area and decided to go after eating Ramon across the street. The bartender did an awesome job with the drinks and had funny convos. Definitely come here for a nice chill spot in San Leandro! Fridays are kareoke nights!!!”
“8-Twelve is a true neighborhood gem. It is the kind of place where kids can grab a snack and a fun drink for a reasonable price, and then just relax after school. Even though it is not as close to the middle or high school as some of the other hangouts, it has become one of our favorites.
I appreciate that it has lasted the test of time and I hope it continues to thrive. One of the best parts is that they offer non-caffeinated tea drinks for the kids, which is rare and so thoughtful.
8-Twelve has that welcoming vibe that makes it feel like part of the community.”
“The owners are always nice. Great pizza!! Just the way Round Table should be!”
“People working here are friendly, really old-fashioned friendly. The food is absolutely the best! This is definitely a hidden gem of the East Bay; once you come and enjoy the delicious catfish and chicken, you’ll keep coming back. I guarantee it!! Oh, did I mention the lemon cake? Outstanding!!”

“Food was good as usual! I don’t think the waitress want to wait on me as I had to ask for chips&salsa and to bring my water while I wait for my food. When she finally brought me the food , no silverware and napkins. I went to staging area and tore off some brown paper”
“A disclaimer, these reviews are always hard for me: because when I come here, I usually come with people who are familiar with the restaurant and employees. For context, I’m a Chinese woman with family connections and I can speak cantonese. It makes the experience easier and faster. I’m not so sure if I just spoke English, how great the service is. Besides that, the food here is awesome. Great selection, everything tastes awesome! You want authentic Dim Sum? You’ll get it here!”

“Small but cute place 😝 I got the taro milk tea which is the best one bc the others didn't hit😾 The prices are good and service is quick, the cashier was friendly and gave me a sample for this new snack I think. Its clean too 💯
I am coming back again🥳
