“Mayra was our server and bar tender. It was the Monday following the Grand Prix so things were a bit slow as far as clientele. But that meant we got extra five-star service from Mayra.

We ordered the vegetarian lettuce wraps and crispy green bean appetizers. We ordered a bottle of sparkling rose. And for dessert we had the banana spring rolls and an espresso martini.

The espresso Martini was not authentic but we asked ahead of ordering it and she made sure that she told us exactly what the ingredients were since they don't have an espresso machine.

Everything else was top-notch, but the service with a smile from Mayra made it such an enjoyable lunch for me and my friend, whom I hadn't seen in over a year.“

“This place has been in the community for decades and they’re well known for Korean owner but great, very decent reasonable prices and the black ink noodles. I had been to this place over 3 decades. Used to go here with my kid and/or with his friends & cousins. I also had through family Christmas for a group of 70 people. The place is big and can handle over 250 people easily with private rooms and common area. Parking is easy since they do have a good size of parking lot. Clean and simple but Chinese vibe for sure. The staff here are very nice, attentive, helpful and only guys (have not seen a woman beside the cashier or owner at the front desk). The menu has plenty & simple of typical Chinese or American/Chinese dishes. Don’t get me wrong, I like it and reminded me of the early years. Easy and fast turn around for sure. Tasty and nice portion, it’s not the best nor the worst but worth it for the price and yummy. This place used to be Packed all the time during lunch time or weekends & holiday. But it easy less these days. Took my kid and went here for late late lunch or very early dinner so just 3-4 tables but same taste, consistency and nice, warm service. “The first time I went here I would give it 5 stars. I went between lunch and dinner so it was quiet and calm. The food and service was amazing. The fooooodddd yum yum yum. However in my later visits the food has not been so amazing. Still good but not super super delicious.
If you go when it's busy, it can be chaotic in there. But it's cuz it's a small place and it's popular.

“If you love dumplings and yummy fried rice ... it's fairly priced , tasty and fresh. Fave dishes include the shrimp fried rice, garlic green beans ( yeah i don't even love green beans but they add salty garlicky crack here!) and the eggplant with garlic sauce with mushrooms and a dash of pork . Soup dumplings are winner. Potstickers yum.
The San Pedro locale has lamb dumplings that they need to add here!

“Today was my 3rd time back. I have tried something new off their menu each visit. First visit was General Tso’s (my favorite), 2nd visit was Chicken Chow mein, today is Spicy Orange Chicken (move over General Tso’s, you’ve been replaced!). The staff is always friendly and helpful, the food is really good. When their menu says “spicy”, they mean a nice little kick and not a flamethrower!! I always order to go, 10 minutes and I am out the door. Portions are big (mine always makes 2 meals). I found my new favorite place 😁“

“Ok so we used to lived down the street from here. Approximately 2014 to 2015. One of those places that I get this nostalgia feeling...before we had our kids and before we have what we have now. The days of struggle. We used to get their deal buy 3 get 1 and we would eat it for a week. We just moved to California. We opened our clothing store and everything was tight budget. But this place in more ways saved us. They have the best bbq chicken in town and their portions is massive still...12 years later. “I had my wedding at Diamond Seafood 3 in July 2024, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. The venue owner - uncle Bao, is an absolute professional and a huge help throughout the entire process. We had so many questions leading up to the big day, and he was always there, patiently answering everything and providing guidance. What really stood out was his genuine care in making our wedding affordable - he offered suggestions to minimize our budget wherever possible, rather than pushing us to spend more on additional services!

“Formerly Changan Kitchen, Yummy Noodle Kitchen seems to retain the same menu, for the most part. And, like Changan Kitchen, has $9.99 Mon - Fri Lunch Specials 11am - 4pm. I've enjoyed Changan's inexpensive lunch specials plenty of times, and was curious how Yummy Noodle Kitchen's compares.

Sichuan Beef Lunch Special (medium heat)-
A tad salty, and I have a solid tolerance to salt. Although, perhaps requesting medium heat meant adding extra fermented chili bean paste, thus a bit too salty. The Sichuan Beef Lunch Special had a fair amount of beef, and a heaping portion of onions. $9.99 is a reasonable price for the amount of food given, and provided a satisfying hot meal.

The cashier was friendly & helpful with recommendations. Yummy Noodle Kitchen is a fast casual eatery, located inside 99 Ranch Market. Seating is shared with the in-house to go cafeteria.

For $9.99, Yummy Noodle Kitchen is a solid food option. How does it compare with the former tenant? From my recollection, Changan Kitchen had more generous portions, including more rice. Yummy Noodle Kitchen's lunch specials are paired with a small bowl of rice. However, it's been a year or two since Changan Kitchen was open, and prices have skyrocketed to egregious levels, for many things. So, keeping prices to a reasonable $9.99, Yummy Noodle Kitchen's lunch specials are an affordable meal option, which I will come back for, whenever I crave Chinese food.“

“I've been eating here at food court and taking to-go orders for long time as my very picky kids love food here. I've read other comments and I've never had those experiences, and I truly think they have the best jjamppong in CA at least. I like their noodle and it makes jjajang noodle taste very good. If anyone think their soup is too bland, try not-spicy version, which is woolppong. I can taste all the seafoods without MSG.

I had a chance to order similar menu from another restaurant, but there is no other Chinese-Korean style restaurant that will match their large portion around Orange County area.

Once, I had to make a minor complaint on a sauce, and the own took it positively and made immediate fix and thank me for telling them.

As a long time lover of jjajangmyun and jjamppong, I highly recommend this place, and I really recommend Wooppong if you don't like spicy food. Their fried rice is one of my kids' favorites, too.
