“I was trying to find an old restaurant I used to visit for great Jjajangmyeon, and although this wasn’t the exact place I remembered, I was very satisfied.
They served a small egg soup as a welcome dish — warm, light, and comforting on an empty stomach.
During lunch time, I tried the stir-fried vegetables, which were fresh and perfectly seasoned without being too salty.
I also liked that they offered small-size bowls of Jjajangmyeon — just right for a light meal.

“just ordered food from China Gourmet in Signal Hill, Ca.. upon entering the restaurant a young man greeted me with a hello. He was pleasent and welcoming. He took my order of mushroom chicken, mixed vegetables and rice with a two order combo. I had BBQ pork, half and half and jalapeño chicken, with two drinks. Returned home and started to dive in! WOW IT WAS AMAZING! The pork was cooked just right, the chicken was extremely delicious and chow mein was actual chow mein and not Top Ramen noodles substitute. my friend who ordered the mushroom chicken and vegetables couldn't stop eating. “The first time I went here I would give it 5 stars. I went between lunch and dinner so it was quiet and calm. The food and service was amazing. The fooooodddd yum yum yum. However in my later visits the food has not been so amazing. Still good but not super super delicious.
If you go when it's busy, it can be chaotic in there. But it's cuz it's a small place and it's popular.

“If you love dumplings and yummy fried rice ... it's fairly priced , tasty and fresh. Fave dishes include the shrimp fried rice, garlic green beans ( yeah i don't even love green beans but they add salty garlicky crack here!) and the eggplant with garlic sauce with mushrooms and a dash of pork . Soup dumplings are winner. Potstickers yum.
The San Pedro locale has lamb dumplings that they need to add here!

“I had a great experience at Kung Pao Bowl, and it’s one of those places that does the basics right without trying to be something it’s not.
The teriyaki chicken was the standout for me. The chicken was cooked properly, not dry, not rubbery, and the teriyaki sauce had a solid balance of sweet and savory without being overpowering. It actually tasted like it was made to complement the chicken, not drown it. The portion size was generous, filling without feeling sloppy or excessive, which matters if you actually want to enjoy the meal instead of pushing food around the bowl.

The pronunciation sounds like Tsa Chang lian mein, and while my mandarin is terrible the food was thankfully not. “The family was in the mood for some Korean Chinese food and the place closer to my house was closed so we found this place. With good reviews we decided to try it. For those that grew up with Korean Chinese food, this place is just like what you remember from back in the day. They didn't try to modernize anything and just kept it as is, just like it's supposed to be. Everything was good and it tasted fresh. I usually don't order Mongolian beef as most times, the meat is very chewy, but it wasn't here. It was tender and flavored very nicely. We also ordered the Noodles with Black Bean Sauce Noodle aka Jajangmyeon. I liked it but it wasn't great. My family on the other hand thought that it was great. The Sweet & Sour pork and the Fried Shrimp with hot garlic sauce were crunchy despite us ordering to go. Their portion size was also good. I find most places charge more AND reduce the portion size but here, although the prices did increase, the portion size is still good. That's a big plus in my book. Overall, I would come back here again and would recommend it to others.“

“I had my wedding at Diamond Seafood 3 in July 2024, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. The venue owner - uncle Bao, is an absolute professional and a huge help throughout the entire process. We had so many questions leading up to the big day, and he was always there, patiently answering everything and providing guidance. What really stood out was his genuine care in making our wedding affordable - he offered suggestions to minimize our budget wherever possible, rather than pushing us to spend more on additional services!

The venue itself was beautifully decorated - simple yet elegant, which perfectly suited the atmosphere we wanted to create. The food was amazing, served in large portions, and absolutely delicious! The staff was also incredibly helpful and friendly, making sure everything ran smoothly.

After the wedding, we received so many compliments from our guests about both the food and the venue itself. I’m so grateful to uncle Bao for making our special day so beautiful and memorable. I highly recommend Diamond Seafood 3 to anyone looking for a wedding venue in OC - it truly exceeded our expectations!“

“Formerly Changan Kitchen, Yummy Noodle Kitchen seems to retain the same menu, for the most part. And, like Changan Kitchen, has $9.99 Mon - Fri Lunch Specials 11am - 4pm. I've enjoyed Changan's inexpensive lunch specials plenty of times, and was curious how Yummy Noodle Kitchen's compares.

Sichuan Beef Lunch Special (medium heat)-
A tad salty, and I have a solid tolerance to salt. Although, perhaps requesting medium heat meant adding extra fermented chili bean paste, thus a bit too salty. The Sichuan Beef Lunch Special had a fair amount of beef, and a heaping portion of onions. $9.99 is a reasonable price for the amount of food given, and provided a satisfying hot meal.

The cashier was friendly & helpful with recommendations. Yummy Noodle Kitchen is a fast casual eatery, located inside 99 Ranch Market. Seating is shared with the in-house to go cafeteria.

For $9.99, Yummy Noodle Kitchen is a solid food option. How does it compare with the former tenant? From my recollection, Changan Kitchen had more generous portions, including more rice. Yummy Noodle Kitchen's lunch specials are paired with a small bowl of rice. However, it's been a year or two since Changan Kitchen was open, and prices have skyrocketed to egregious levels, for many things. So, keeping prices to a reasonable $9.99, Yummy Noodle Kitchen's lunch specials are an affordable meal option, which I will come back for, whenever I crave Chinese food.“

We also like that they have several different kinds of noodles to choose from: regular is nice and al dente, thick ones have more substance, and rice noodles are nice and chewy.

Chinese Appetizers are one of their best offerings not to be missed, they are at the counter, covered for freshness so it’s a bit hidden. Basically you walk up and tell them you want to order appetizers, and they will open the lid and let you pick 3 kinds. We usually pick 2 veggies and one meat for $12.99. This complements our soup noodles very well.

Restaurant is generally pretty clean and comfortable, the service is prompt and courteous. Plenty of free parking.“

Both bbq pork and orange chicken are great! The kung Pao chicken was eh. It had this sour taste to it that I'm not usually use to with kung Pao chicken. The give you very generous portions.. you will be stuffed!
