“I went for my birthday based on reviews & I needed something to enjoy. I’m typically a Ruth Chris girlie, but I’ve been so many times. I took myself btw. I made a reservation, valet was very kind, I couldn’t even tell you how many people checked on me to make sure I was doing okay but I appreciated everything. The bread was amazing, the recommendations were amazing, even the other guest in the restaurant were sweet and told me happy birthday & took pictures of me. The atmosphere was beautiful, the lighting was perfect too. They even gave me a birthday card & the dessert was a 10/10. It was literally the best birthday I’ve had in years. It was worth every penny and I highly recommend coming here again.“
“In a city full of big name and high profile steakhouses, this one is the BEST. I've been multiple times but am highlighting last night's food selections. Starters included pork belly empanadas, a burrata dish with imported heirloom tomatoes and finally, scallops resting in some sort of creamy sauce made and sent from heaven. We ordered three cuts of steak for our party of five to share: 2.5 lbs of ribeye cap, a New York strip and a skirt steak. All cooked and seasoned perfectly. Sides included sautéed spinach, creamed corn and fries. Accompanied by multiple red Argentine wines, selected by their expert. The service is exceptional, as is the food. For passionate meat eaters, it's simply perfection.“
“Fia Steak Restaurant provided an unforgettable dining experience that surpassed all expectations. From the warm and knowledgeable staff to the exquisite culinary offerings, every aspect of the evening was exceptional. The appetizers, including the crunchy tuna cigars, hamachi crudo, and the newly introduced kingfish crudo, tantalized the taste buds with their harmonious flavor combinations. The steak tartare, with its spicy kick, was a standout dish, setting the stage for the incredible entrees to follow. The truffle cavatelli was a personal favorite, but the oxtail agnolotti stole the show with its rich wine and meat sauce, leaving a lasting impression as one of the most remarkable pasta dishes ever tasted. The bone-in ribeye, cooked to perfection and accompanied by dauphinois gratin of potatoes, mushrooms, and asparagus, showcased the restaurant's mastery of steak. Additionally, the A5 Wagyu, a kitchen recommendation, was a delectable indulgence.Dessert was the perfect conclusion to an extraordinary meal, with the chocolate soufflé and sticky toffee pudding topped with vanilla ice cream providing a sweet finale. Fia Steak Restaurant has set the bar exceptionally high with its unparalleled hospitality, service, and culinary quality. This dining experience was truly magical, THANK YOU, Fia Steak!“
“Great Halal option, great atmosphere. Loved the garlic beef. My only concern and this is shared among all Brazilian restaurants is the variety of meat that gets served to your table. We kept getting the same kind of meat and the high end stuff doesn't make it to your table until you ask for it more than once. We didn't get lamb chops till the end while we were almost full, while kept getting sirloin like 5-6 times! Aside from that the grilled pineapple is amazing.“
“Highly recommend ! Had my bday celebration and the experience was immaculate. From the manager greeting then checking in multiple times, to the incredible dishes. Seafood was super fresh. Perfect place to celebrate a birthday. Thank you for having us !“
“I went to Eddie V’s for the first time for my birthday! The food and the service were impeccable! From the hosts to the servers they all gave us personable service! Our server was CJ. We had a large party but she took care of all of us. I will definitely be back! Thank you all for making my birthday so memorable!Parking: We valet parked it was $12.00.“
“Arthur J has been the staple go-to restaurant for me and my husband everytime we celebrate a new promotion, new job, raise, etc. We always invite out another couple to dine with us to celebrate, and the past two times (including tonight) was a bit of a disappointment. We have always ordered the tomahawk steak the past 4-5 times we've dined here, and tonight it was so fatty that there were probably only 16 oz of edible meat... from a 40oz steak. I know the bone is included in the weight, but I really could not see this Tomahawk feeding two people. I wish I had taken a photo of the Tomahawk because I really couldn't believe how small it looked. One of the entire end pieces was pure fat. Literally maybe a tiny sliver of meat (think like the size of a dime) on a 3x3" piece of fat. I did a brief perusal of the Yelp photos of the Arthur J Tomahawk to check my recollection of previous versions of the Tomahawk we had and yeah, the piece we got tonight did not look like anything from the Yelp photos or from our previous experiences. I rarely update Yelp reviews, but tonight's experience was just such a steep, stark contrast to the first time we dined here so many years ago. The first time we dined here, we ordered the Tomahawk and the manager came out and said the chef overcooked it, so he was embarrassed and refused to serve it so he let us choose anything else on the menu for free. Our party was shocked, we hadn't asked for any freebies. But that experience has always stuck out because it showed us how much Arthur J valued the quality of their product and service. In stark contrast to that first experience, I just can't believe how far downhill the standards have gone. I never like to just completely overlook the good parts in a review so here's the good: service was friendly albeit slightly slow, sides were good- especially the beef fat fries. I also like being able to pay the check on my phone.“
“Street parking in the area is almost impossible, luckily they have a valet ($20 cash only). The service was really good from the hostess, to the wait staff, everybody took amazing care of us. I started with an espresso martini. This was by far the best one I have ever had. We shared a few dishes: beet salad, endives, truffle fries, mac n cheese, wagyu porterhouse and a few desserts. Everything was incredible. Their wagyu porterhouse is sourced from Snake River farms. It was cooked to perfection with a nice charred crust on the outside while kept pink on the inside - well seasoned and very juicy. We also got a side of mashed potatoes with it, those were so smooth and creamy. I can't wait to return and try more dishes!“
“My wife is Korean, and we have dined in all the top Korean places in Los Angeles and Seoul for over 20 years. AB Steak delivers high end versions of traditional Korean classics. The quality of the meat is superior to that of most Korean restaurants, from the melt in your mouth A5 like kkotsal to the marinated short ribs. The egg “soufflé” gyeranjjim has a light cheese sauce and more flavor than typical. Moving perfectly cooked medium rare meat from the grill to a cast iron warmer keeps the meat warm while preventing over cooking is a great idea. Service is capable and friendly.“
“Phenomenal atmosphere, service, and food! We ordered the fresh kusshi oysters and bread rolls to start. my mom and sister had filets, I enjoyed the coffee rub ribeye. I've had a lot of steaks throughout my life, but this was by the far the best out of ANY steakhouse that I have been to. It was my mom and sisters birthday, and they have never been so pleased at a fine dining restaurant. Thank you to everyone for making it such a special dinner for everyone!“
“Dinner for 4 on a Thursday at 7pm. Small parking lot was full, we had to circle for street parking. No Valet. Busy inside. They only seat once the entire party is present. There were several groups waiting for their people, the entryway was crowded. It's loud inside, I later saw a warning from my phone! Food was tasty. Portion sizes good. La Jolla potatoes are kinda like scalloped potatoes. Sticky toffee pudding to share was great.“
“Food: 4 stars - solid steak, very nicely grilled. After all, the name says 'the Grill,' and it did not disappoint. And who wouldn't like a great steak with onion rings! Service: 5 stars - servers in uniform, very professional, attentive, east coast vibe. Ambiance: 5 stars - very spacious, not too noisy where you can have a conversation. Again, east coast vibe of a steakhouse. One wish - I wish the fries were a little thinner. Overall, solid.“
“Not just Santa Monica, but around here.A famous high-class steak restaurantThe aged meat was very delicious.Other seafood was also delicious. It's called a patio, which means terrace seating, and outside seating must be requested at the time of reservation. They won't let you in even if it's empty after you enter.Enjoy watching the sunset on the patioI think it's better to enjoy the delicious food and the wonderful atmosphere inside the American restaurant. It depends on the time of year, but in April I think it would be better to have a jacket or something to put on.There is also a bar inside, so you can feel free to use the bar, so I think it's a good idea to have a quick drink.I said this at the bar when I entered, and they showed me a seat at the bar.You will be given a bar menu.I think you can probably order normal food if you order normally.Atmosphere inside the store, cheerful serversBartender at the bar counterPerhaps because it's by the sea, it doesn't feel formal, but has a fun, open feel. The store is large, so you can enjoy it without hesitation even if you bring your children. While you wait, the meat is displayed like a shop window, so I think you can kill time there. There is also a slope, so I thought it would be easy to use in a wheelchair.Valet parking is available in front of the store.I think it's $15. So, I'm sure there are cheaper places nearby, but if there's not much difference, I think this is easier. When you enter the front of the store from the seaside street, there will be a valet parking person standing there, so leave your key there.Instead, you will receive an exchange ticket with a phone number written on it.When I want to go home, I call and give my number and they bring it to me and send a text to my phone.I don't know what will happen if you don't have an American phone.“
“Only came in for a drink and snack at happy hour, but the Juan margarita was so delicious, and the wedge salad so perfect that we wished we'd had time on our trip to come back for a proper hangout. Such a cozy and lovely patio, and super, friendly service. Will definitely return next trip!“
“Very delicious food. My steak was cooked to my liking. I brought my baby daughter and myself. We were treated with kindness and respect. Service was outstanding. The atmosphere is so peaceful and elegant.Parking: The restaurants pay for 1hr and 30 minutes parkingKid-friendliness: Very great service !“
“Honestly, the best burger in town. Juicy, char grilled taste, filling and seasoned so darn well. Fricken love it. Plus, you get good friendly attentive service in a steakhouse environment. The cheeseburger is now $21 and to upgrade to a baked potato is an extra $3. BF got his baked tater fully loaded and it was an extra $4 for a bacon (worth it, so smoky and generous portion!). Total for two burgers + tax and tip was $68 tho. Again, so good but not a place I can go on the regular, but you will not be disappointed.“
“Our first time there. We were a group of 8 for a birthday party. The food was amazing. The meat was grilled medium rare. The vegetable sides were seasoned just right. The birthday boy got a smoked old fashioned that reminded me of a campfire. Our server and staff were attentive and knowledgeable about the menu had suggestions for the meal. An outstanding meal and experience.“
“Had a solid experience here. I ordered the filet mignon plate with spinach dip and wings for appetizers for my wife and myself. The service was top-notch. Our waiter was on top of everything and really cool. The atmosphere while busy was not that loud, which surprised me.Highly recommended“
“This place has been around for nearly 100 years and now I understand why. The food was delicious! The burger was so good and cooked to perfection. Our server Erin was wonderful and after I lost something the staff couldn't have been more helpful in helping me find it. We will definitely come back.“
“It's a laid back steak house vibe Prices are comparable if not better than other steak houses in LA. Inside and outside are obviously different. From some of these reviews it seems like people don't understand that. they have heaters btw! But depending on the weather and my party size I go back and forth. Really love the happy hour here! Best burger on westside! Lily is fantastic and always super helpful The bar is so fun on Friday and Saturday nights!! Although can get a little cougarish Baker and kelly are awesome!!! Love stopping in on Friday nights when they are working!“
“Great place to eat specially on a date night service is phenomenal, I definitely recommend that you book, at least a week in advance. I am not gonna complain about the prices, because what would you expect from a celebrity restaurant in Beverly Hills ? Overall amazing place.“

“It's been years since I've been back to Lawry's. So long ago that it was located across the street from its current location. Really. The Prime Rib is still the best ever. If you're going to havePrime Rib, this is the best place to get it. The Best!!! Service is great and everyone is really nice.“
“First time going to STK and the customer service & environment was nothing short of spectacular. My friend and I sat at the bar and Darren greeted us and made sure we were well taken care of and made our first visit amazing! Food was great, vibe was great and Darren was on top of our food and made sure we had everything we wanted. We felt very welcomed & important even though it was a full house. Everyone was amazing! Can't wait to be back! :)“
“My experience at Ruth's Chris was exceptional, thanks to the outstanding service provided by the staff. The manager, Ben, went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Our server, Damian, was knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly throughout the meal. Additionally, the bartender, Princess, crafted delicious cocktails with skill and creativity. I highly recommend dining at Ruth's Chris for not only their fantastic food but also their wonderful staff who make every visit memorable.“
“First off, I'd like to say this is a beautifully styled restaurant. From its name to the menu design and the overall atmosphere. So artistic and unique. A place to truly relax and enjoy the california lifestyle to the fullest. And the food matches up. Everything we ordered was incredible. We ordered their burger, steak, asparagus, stuffed hashbrown, burnt cheesecake, and a few drinks. It was all fantastic!“
