“I can't help but express how much I wish we had something like that here in my hometown of El Paso! I had the opportunity to enjoy this incredible food while in California for just a couple of days, and I couldn't resist going back for more. It was such a delight to experience that culinary bliss two days in a row!“

“Small mom& pop restaurant. Very 廣東 台山 Cantonese Taishan family style menu for lunch and dinner. Their chicken rice is delicious, juicy tender brown chicken, fragrant rice, just not very Hainan style but I will order again. Their curry pork chop rice, the curry sauce was very yummy unfortunately the fried pork chop was very dry inside. Want to love it so much because the fry job was done right but the meat was too dry. We also order the Chinese sausage salty egg meat Pattie on rice 台山臘腸鹹蛋肉餅飯. That was delicious! They can accommodate bigger group (6+) but best to call ahead. Easier for 1-4 person. There is a free small parking lot on the side and street parking. Even though I gave it 4-star (cuz of the pork chop), I would definitely return to try other items. Very authentic regional Chinese food.“

The addition of chopped peanuts is interesting and the portion is not small, but the soy sauce is not very interesting.The spicy hotpot is super delicious, the soup base is very fragrant, and the ingredients are very tasty. “I dont know why there are so many not so good review on this place, but both times I have been here it has been pretty good, at least the food. The latest time I came was for a birthday, and we celebrated in a room that they had Karaoke. The room fit 3 big tables, and it was pretty spacious. The staff were quite nice, and I believe the food was really good as well.

What stood out to me was the Lobster, Truffle Chicken, and the Filet Mignon. I’m sorry that I dont have the official names, as the dishes were preset and brought to our table. You just gotta look at the picture, and if you think it looks good, then go for it.

This is a great place for anyone to celebrate any occasion, and the private room made it that much more exclusive. If you are planning an event, and want GOOD food, then look no further.“

“Pretty good Cantonese food. The entrees are pretty authentic. The wonton noodle soup asr needs more flavoring and not a fan of lettuce as a vegetable, but the actual wonton is spot on. I also ordered the Beef Chow Fun, and it pretty good, a 7/10. But the real deal is their Tea drinks, which are $2.50 if ordered with in-dining.“

“Super tasty entrees all around. The beef brisket casserole was jam packed with flavor and super tender (melted in our mouths). The shrimp patties were super juicy and the perfect appetizer. The beef tripe noodles were beefy yet light. The surprise hit was the sweet and sour fish! Crispy and sweet, it was a great entree that was recommended by our waitress. Very friendly staff. Clean establishment. They even had a menu for the Quickly next door. Although I have to recommend their iced tea. Tasted all natural and refreshing. We will be returning!!“

“We go here for a quick & simple breakfast. The pick your own combo is a good deal: porridge + choice: lo mai gai (sticky lotus rice) + drink. The BBQ pork cheung fun is smooth with the right amount of chew and you can see it made to order through the glass sometimes. The staff are friendly and attentive while it does get busy on weekends and lunch rush. Joe the manger will check in to see how’s things are going which is rare in HK style restaurants but appreciated in any setting.“

“I was born and raised in Guangzhou, personally, I think this is the rice roller that’s closest to what I had when I grew up, taste and texture wise. I always order two plates of pork rice rollers. I can imagine if I live around the area, I would come daily for it.“

“Super awesome to see, South El Monte has so much Asian foods and they are all delicious. A lot of people in South El Monte love Chinese, Vietnamese, and Japanese cultures and so the businesses in the area thrive. I also enjoy getting Korean BBQ meats in the South El Monte City or a nice hot meal at the Daikokuya Japanese Ramen place on Garvey. I noticed that a lot of people in Korean Town over in Los Angeles were starting to purchase up commercial real estate and launch businesses in South El Monte. In a recent merger and acquisition of a major grocery store business chain in South El Monte, it had become Korean owned as well and started to add many awesome products such as canned boba drinks. South El Monte is one of the most vibrant, diverse, and sweet pockets of hidden gem Asian foods in California and the San Gabriel Valley. When I go to school on the East Coast, I really miss it.“

“If you're craving dim sum, this place is definitely worth a try. The dim sum menu is solid, offering a decent variety of dishes that satisfy those midday cravings. The food quality is good overall, flavorful, and filling. However, when it comes to dinner time, the experience takes a bit of a dive. The dinner menu isn't particularly impressive, and the foods lack in flavor. I wouldn't recommend coming during dinner time.
The service, unfortunately, leaves a lot to be desired. The staff can be a bit inattentive and, at times, even rude.“

“Food is good, service is fast. The lunch special menu is priced well at $15 and has large portions and good variety of selections. Other menu items are pretty pricey. Tables are too close for my liking but if you're used to that culture of dining then its a normal thing.“
