“Have dined at Pearl District many times over the years for special occasions or just a nice evening out. It's always consistently delivered in great customer service and quality food. Offers great drink options and also an extensive wine list (by the glass or bottle). Some of the standout dishes are the "pan roasted wild mushrooms", "braised short ribs", filet mignon & branzino. For dessert the "wonder bar" is a must!”

“Somewhat disappointed by the fresh fish selections today. Started strong with excellent bread and butter, but the mains were slightly underwhelming. I ordered a half dozen Morro Bay oysters but my main came before them, which I thought was odd. My main was perfectly prepared sand dabs that somehow had no flavor. My companion's fresh catch, rock white fish, was drab. The sides, brussel sprouts burnt beyond recognition and maple glazed squash that was flavorful but a little underdone for my taste. My companion's sides were rudimentary, spinach and potatoes. We skipped dessert as they no longer offer the mint chip sundae. Our server was disinterested and although polite it felt forced. The snafu with the timing of the oysters was a problem for me.”

But we are all here for the sushi and again nothing else comes close to comparing in terms of quality. They are switching up what fish is in based on what's in season. I got just two patties with cheese. I went back and asked for the notions and says I had to pay extra for. I got two sauce packets, lettuce and tomato in a packet then the guy brought me a packet with onions. All Al a cart. This was the first time this happened. I have had to eat off a napkin or the paper packets.”

My absolute favorite is the Emma sushi—it just melts in your mouth. The spicy tuna crispy rice is also amazing. I love coming here with my family and always have a great experience. If you’re looking for top-quality sushi and great service, this is the place to go!”

“This place is ten minutes from my house but the Angeleno along us is the one who found it and invited us there! Nice outdoor seating if you don’t want to be indoors; the cute menu includes vegetarian options and nice cocktails (though not poured deep); we lived our options. I got the impossible taco salad (Impossible crumbles replaced regular hamburger taco meat); my son had a Pepperoni flatbread; he pointed out to us that (per the menu)a dollar from every sale of that pizza goes to children’s charities. Gotta like a place that gives back! 💙 The Reuben was phenomenal. The wait staff was pleasant, courteous, and cheerful. We will be back!”

“Such a cute environment. We went around 7pm on a Tuesday and it was pretty empty. We got the jade curry, beef satay, and the west side wontons which were all fire. We also met Pookie herself and she was so sweet. Worth a second visit for sure! I would say new menus or a digital menu would be nice but the menus are cool with the wood and the metal detailing.”

Their Nutella, dark chocolate, cookie butter, and lemon cookie flavors are my favorite! (Try combo of lemon cookie and cookie butter or cookie butter and Nutella - trust me) I come here at least once a month! Highly recommend”

“I love Baja Fresh especially the Baja Burritos the Fajitas are great as well as their tacos. Ingredients are always fresh. They always provide extra chips when asked. I really enjoy all the different salsa in the salsa bar. The negatives are they no longer give the grilled green onion with the entrees and the banana peppers are no longer provided in the salsa bar.”

“Los agaves has been my family and I’s favorite Mexican restaurant to visit for the past couple years now. We’ve ventured around the menu and everything we get is delicious! We love visiting the west lake village location as well as the Santa Barbara location on De la vina street. Both exceptional!
I’ve seen a couple reviews complaining as to why servers don’t come take our orders at the table. God forbid you have to order your own food at the register. I personally don’t mind at all. In addition I’ve always received great service when visiting. 10/10 I recommend to any one every chance I get!”

“Been going to Mediterranean Pita Grill for years and it's always been very consistent. Usually get one of the plates...either the Shrimp Combo, Kabob Combo or Chicken. The plates are a good size and my daughter and I can easily share a plate. If you like just a vegetarian option, I recommend the Falafel Plate. Everything always seems fresh and service is friendly and fairly priced for the quality of the food! Interior is spacious and there is ample seating as well as lots of exterior seating too. Its more of a cafeteria vibe inside, however, everything is very clean.”

“I was excited to discover this pizza spot in Westlake. They have standard pizza slices along with Sicilian style square slices. I typically prefer a standard thin crust pizza but I decided to try the square margherita slice and was very happy with my choice. They definitely use high quality ingredients. The crust was nice and crispy and the sauce was slightly sweet and flavorful. The cashier was very friendly. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I will definitely be back to try another delicious slice!”
