“Visiting from WI, randomly chose Mr Pizza and I was blown away! The guys in charge seem to really care about the food they send out. Not much of a dining room, I would recommend just doing carry out. That being said the ingredients and overall taste were FANTASTIC, one of the top 5 pizzas I’ve ever eaten! “Brigadeiros are very rare to find in LA, so I consider myself lucky indeed to live near not just any brigadeiro shop, but an incredibly top notch brigadeiro shop. Maya herself is usually working behind the counter, and is such a kind and helpful person with any questions you might have about the sweets. And not just sweets--I also highly recommend the pão de queijo that she makes, perfectly cheesy and gooey Brazilian cheese bread! Lastly, Maya's brigadeiro favor boxes for weddings and parties are incredible, if you're looking for a truly unique favor that all your guests are sure to enjoy. We had brigadeiros as favors at our wedding, and Maya was beyond helpful throughout the entire process in choosing and designing the boxes, as well as which flavors to pick out. “I've been coming here for years, I can't believe I haven't written a review! I love their food. My favorite item to order is their mung bean pad thai, although I wish there was an option to get it with soy chicken or beef and not just tofu skewers. The tofu cubes are huge so the flavor doesn't really penetrate them. I like this dish because the noodles and veggies are flavorful. My family also enjoys cashew nut lover dish and the buddha rolls. Those are so filling, I can just get those and be happy. If you like thai tea, you must try it here. So good. One star off because parking is difficult, especially on weekends, and it's a little pricy for me. The good thing is that inflation has led to all restaurants raising their prices in the last couple of years, so I am more used to it and not as bothered as I used to be . Note: the seats are incredibly uncomfortable so if you dine in and have back issues like me, bring a cushion.“

“Ike's has the best vegetarian subs around! Well, from what I've tried anyway. Few months back I tried their Freddy Krueger sandwich (not vegetarian) on their dutch crunch and it was great. The dutch crunch is delicious. I also tried their James and the giant peach recently and it'll be my go-to anytime I visit for sure! All the ingredients come together perfectly and the vegan fried chicken is good too! Their sandwiches come with a candy (caramel apple lollipops) and as someone with a sweet tooth, I love it. Service was good and my sandwich came out in a timely manner. It's a great place to grab a bite after running errands in the plaza.“

“Today was my 1st time ordering at Leo’s. I ordered the hot hash bowl & it was so delicious I had to take it home! Parking is easy at this restaurant & the cashier gave me excellent customer service. I didn’t order a drink but he gave me a cold glass of water while I waited for my food to finish cooking. The cook is very special. She definitely knows what she’s doing in that kitchen. As society becomes more health conscious, I really hope places like these get more attention & customers. “I needed Gluten Free cupcakes for a baby shower. A couple of people, including the mother-to-be, have Celiac (cannot have wheat, barley or rye) and wanted to make sure this was a gluten free event so they wouldn't have to worry about eating the wrong thing or cross-contamination. Skiff's was awesome! The cupcakes were not only delicious but decorated beautifully. Thank you Skiff's, we highly recommend your bakery goods and service.“

“First time I even noticed this yogurt shop inside of Gelson's. I figured I'd give it a try. Glad I did. First off, Fernando and Kevin are awesome. Very pleasant. Fernando allowed me to try as many flavors as my heart desired. The service he provided was excellent. I tried their sweet vanilla and vanilla tart yogurt, chocolate yogurt, and some of their ice cream flavors. Everything was absolutely delicious. I ended up getting the vanilla sweet yogurt mixed with the vanilla tart yogurt. It was the perfect combination of sweet and tart. The texture of the yogurt is very smooth. Absolutely loved it. They also have a huge selection of low carb and low sugar flavors they alternate daily (see attached monthly calendar for flavors). Looking forward to trying how these taste next time I come. “I've been coming to Bea's since I was a child. I love this bakery. I remember the original location on Ventura Blvd & Topanga Cyn. That was in the 1960s and 70s. Bea was always there, and she was lovely. Whenever a child comes into Bea's and give them a cookie. I told one of the employees about that. He gave me a cookie. We laughed, and I thanked him. It was great!“

We had a long conversation regarding bread, the business, and other random topics. I felt like I made a new friend lol! I was gifted two conchas (sweet bread). I found the selection to be really unique and rare because you don't find many places that have affordable, organic conchas & even pizza doughs on sale. Luckily, I live 5 minutes from here so I will definitely come back. I really appreciated June for her kindness, professionalism, and passion. “One of our favorite places to have family dinners at. It has been in business for over 65 years. The pizza is delicious here. I love their supreme pizza and the cheese pizza the most. Their house antipasto salad is amazing and I always order it. Pastas are good as well. The linguini in clam sauce is perfection. I can go on and on. The service is great so is the ambiance. It's very dated but it works just fine. I love the atmosphere of this place. Feels like you are back in the 60s (not that I was alive in the 60s lol) anyways you get the point. A must try if you haven't been. We used to live nearby years ago and would visit very often. Now not so much but from time to time I feel like dining here. They have some vegan options such as the plain churros, Oreo and guava stuffed churro, drinks replaced with almond or soy milk but add $1, vegan ice cream scoop, and vegan milkshake. We had the plain churros and the Oreo stuffed churros. They were nice and crispy. Really pricey though. Staff were nice. Saw people just hanging out and had their laptops to work here. Noise level was average. Parking is a challenge. I found parking in a residential area in the back and walked. I didn't see a bathroom.“

“Falafel Palace has been here for 52 years. Same family ownership. Gina is a wonderful person. She greets you with sincerity and guides you through the menu if you have questions. Pride in ownership is evident. I used to go here years ago. We finally made time to revisit. The food was wonderful. I had the lamb gyro with double meat (my favorite). Tender, seasoned just right. Tzatziki and spicy sauce onside. Mom had the falafel in pita. It was huge! She enjoyed it so much that she couldn't put it down. My wife had chicken shawarma. Again seasoned just right and tender. Humus, awesome. We were so stuffed. Had to take a baklava home for later.I suggest stopping by and taking a break from your burger routine. It is great to support a local family run business.“

“Fantastic food in a busy but fun atmosphere.We have been coming to this restaurant since it opened at this location. The food is fantastic, there is plenty of free parking in the lot behind and usually room to be seated. Friendly staff.The only downside I have noticed over the past few years is that orders can take quite a bit longer than they used to. It's not uncommon to have a 20 to 30 minute wait once food is ordered which can be a bummer with hungry kids.“

Every summer, I make an appointment with Mary 2-3 weeks prior to my birthday and she always is eager and ready to bring my ideas to reality in her creative space. Even after we have finalized all the details, she will contact me a couple times prior to the pick up date just to verify the details or to suggest new ideas. I have purchased my birthday cake every year for the last 4 years at Helena Wirth Cakes. This year for my 30th Birthday, I came to Mary very excited for my 30th birthday cake. The cake is themed with ideas from my favorite TV series. Once again, she created the perfect cake for my birthday and made my 30th birthday very special!
