“My first visit to Free Range Kitchen didn’t disappoint my wife and I. The food was delicious, our cocktails were made perfectly and what can I say about the terrific service and friendly presence of our waiter, Josue. He is a real asset to this restaurant. Our dining experience was well worth the drive from Aspen and for sure, we will be back again during our weeklong vacation.“

“Had dinner at Homestead Bar and Grill last Saturday and it was beyond delicious! Chef Tommy has outdone himself with the new winter menu. I had the crab cake special and they were the best that I have ever had! Seriously better than any that I have had on the East or West Coast! His mashed potatoes were stellar as well and I am a mashed potato snob! The Tomahawk pork chop was also phenomenal and Alex had the ricotta dumplings, which were also delicious! Can’t wait for them to open again next week after their holiday break!“

“This is my favorite place to eat when I am in Basalt. Fresh salads, savory and delish pot pies (take them home and cook also), with Some of the best freshly made cakes and pies. The Cubana sandwich and the spinach salad are my favorites items for lunch. Pistachio cake, YUM“

“This restaurant is fantastic! We have been getting take out here since COVID began and it is our piece of normal. Their online ordering and ability to reorder past orders make it easy to pick up on the way home. The burgers are great but I just tried the BLT grilled cheese and it is my new favorite!“

“I was born and raised on the Mexican border, I moved to Aspen four months ago, and I've been searching for decent Mexican food constantly, and I found some decent places and many places were not good at all, but I stumbled into this place today and it is officially the best Mexican food in the entire Roaring Fork Valley, hands-down. Exceptionally authentic, delicious, mostly organic, excellent service, clean & wonderful atmosphere, great menu with many awesome authentic choices, the food is made to perfection, and the prices are oh so pleasant! This place is the best, I am so lucky I live closeby, I will be eating here on the regular without fail! If you want the real deal, don't waste your time going anywhere else, come here -- this place is the clear winner!“

“This is my favorite breakfast place on the planet. Sit at the island, and let Salvador and Alex memorize you with their culinary wizardry. The huevos rancheros with green chili is the best you’ll ever have, and if you’re lucky they’ll put some extra jalapeños or a bottle of house made hot sauce on the side.“
