“By far our favorite - couldn’t recommend it more highly! Tou and Jason are wonderful hosts and we have never had an experience that was less than amazing the green lip muscles and Chirisi (sp?) bowl are favorites. Highly recommend!“

“Absolutely thrilled since Aoi opened in the neighborhood! It's definitely a great experience to dine there, everything is truly delicious when it comes to you fresh from the Chef's!
When you live nearby take out is incredible too.
I think pretty much everything here is tasty and crafted to be so. In fact, the menu is simple but elegant.
I'm craving it right now just thinking about the duck broth dipping noodles. 🤤“

“I’ve been here several times recently. It’s very casual, a simple no-frills atmosphere. The food is very, very good. They offer a split ramen option for sharing and to add extra ingredients as desired. The Izakaya sushi roll is terrific, delicate, and not served too cold. The curry is pleasantly mild: not too sweet or spicy, and very delicious. They have a few sake and beer options and many other dishes I haven’t yet tried. I recommend being patient as this isn’t fast food. They obviously care about the quality of ingredients and preparation, and I’ll be back, frequently.“

“If I could give a better than 5 star review I would. This has hands down become my favorite sushi place in the entire state after my first visit and I will be coming back again and again. The food, service, and experience were all fantastic. We sat at the sushi bar and wound up talking to Chef Koichi the entire night and you could feel and taste the pride he, and the entire staff, took in the food. Can’t wait to come back for the omakase!“

“We eat at Sumo Restaurant at least twice a week, and it continues to be one of the best spots in Longmont for consistently great food and friendly service. The staff always make us feel welcome, and the quality never slips no matter how busy they are. We recently tried their new margaritas — mango, strawberry, or peach — and they’re fantastic. Each one is fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced (not overly sweet like many fruit margaritas). They’re a fun upgrade to an already great dining experience. If you’re looking for a reliable local favorite with great drinks and food, Sumo is definitely worth a visit.“

“Absolutely fabulous music was good not too loud that you couldn’t have a conversation. It was a great temperature inside a relief from the weather outside. They had a pretty full bar for the most part. Service was fantastic. My Waitress Ping. Was outstanding she checked on me frequently made sure that everything was OK at all times such a wonderful treatment. The food was spectacular. I did have to pay a little extra to get the fried rice and instead of the white rice worth every penny everything smelled terrific tasted fantastic. Very fresh. Nothing was What I wouldn’t expect from a fantastic place. They are fairly new only a little over a year and everybody should come check it out. Pricing was great specials were worth trying. I enjoyed the entire experience. You might have a little bit of a harder time finding parking in the parking lot. You might have to walk a little bit, but there is plenty of parking since it’s attached to the same parking lot as Lowe’s.“

“So I'm not one to say anything about about a family owned business. The sushi was awesome , the soup I think I just didn't understand what I was getting . It was during about 2pm and I was the only one there . It was good service and a nice family but the floors were dirty with plenty of time to sweep up before dinner rush , it was good though , I get burn out or being tired just slightly disappointed. The food looked beautiful with presentation!!!“

“Excellent prices. Some reviews mentioned that it isn't high-end, which is true I guess but I have genuinely eaten $50 sushi that isn't as good as what they give you at Bento-ria for $10. I got unagi and tamagoyaki nigiri with my poke bowl and let me tell you. Good sushi is known by the freshness of the ingredients and the quality of the sushi rice: the food here is fresh and the very first thing I noticed was how good the rice is. The place may be humble but there are masters in the kitchen“

“My friend and I went here for Valentine's Day. We hadn't made plans because we weren't celebrating the holiday, so we had no reservations. The place was packed. The hosts were busy coordinating reservations that went as late as past 11 pm, as they were open until midnight. They were kind in their greeting and offered us space at the bar, if we could find it. We couldn't. As the wait time was over an hour and a half, we left to go somewhere else but decided to return a little later to check back at the bar. We found some seats that had just been cleared, so we saddled up for a chill time with chopsticks and great ambiance. We were greeted by the friendliest, most energetic bartender I've ever had the pleasure of interacting with while dining out, much less when a place is that busy. She had a smile for miles as she walked us through bar suggestions featuring her alcohol favorites. The reason we rallied to try again at Hapa was that my friend has a serious gluten issue with his severe celiac disease and has never had a problem with their dedicated menu. The gluten-free menu is extensive for such a specialized diet, automatically paired with their gluten-free soy sauce. Since we were sharing our samplings of sushi, sashime, salad, and sake, I went ahead and ordered from that menu as well. I didn't taste any difference in my experience. Our servings were well-timed with salad, main dishes, accompanying sake and wine... and, again, our awesome bartender sharing company with us, a truly gifted gal of service. If I tried to recommend this place more, I'd sound silly. That said, thank you for one of the best Valentine's Day, un-Valentines evenings I've ever had! We left happy with our choice for the night and full in our bellies!“

“Our first time dining at this place though we have wanted to go for a while after someone posted about it after they opened. Finally made it and glad we made reservations as it was packed since it was peak time Friday evening. Spoke with Koji-san, the owner, while we were waiting for our table and he also stopped by each table to check on them which we thought was great. We had the takoyaki, kaisen-mix okonomiyaki and the spicy miso ramen. All came within a reasonable amount of time and were delicious! Koji-san explained the background of offering takoyaki, which was so interesting and great for him to share. We will definitely be back to try the other menu items, esp their sushi, which looked delicious! Great to see a business busy and doing well!“

“Ordered sushi (Denver, California and shrimp tempura rolls) and general chicken for the family. I ordered online and picked it up. Order was ready at the time requested. Employee was very friendly and made sure everything was correct and it was. I requested no wasabi and gluten free soy sauce. Food was hot and delicious! Yurihana is a favorite for my family. Been going there since 2012. Never had a bad experience.“

“Everything was excellent. Ordered edamame, karaage, and ramen and loved all of it. They have a large selection of Japanese beverages. The atmosphere took me back to living in Japan and the service was excellent. This will be my go-to. I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu.“
“The smoked salmon sushi rolls are better than any sushi restaurant nearby! 10/10“
“So glad this place opened, really enjoy the selection of menu items, the ability to order from the tablet, the flavor and variety of sushi plates (which has increased since this place first opened last August). Staff is friendly and it’s so easy to order and check out. Definitely a well run conveyor belt sushi place, so glad they expanded to Colorado! Would go every week if it was closer so maybe it’s better it’s not lol! Too busy eating to take a lot of pics…next time…“
