“On the receipt it said our server was Raul. He was awesome and made an iced espresso that my girlfriend thought was much better than Starbucks. The coffee creation was on the house… even the second one. The breakfast was very good and priced fairly. Because of it all, left a little over 50% tip and happy. Well done.“

Bar service is quick even when they get a little busy. The food at this bar is top notch. My favorite go to is definitely the duck and mushroom quesadilla. Its a great snack if your really hungry or a decent meal if not! Ski season Après The George is the place to be. Find it down the stairs and enjoy some damn good food and drinks.“

“Bully Ranch quickly became our absolute favorite restaurant in Vail — and we tried everything from the super trendy spots to the most expensive ones. The food here was amazing, the service was great, and the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. Prices were also very reasonable compared to everything else we tried in town. We didn't repeat a single restaurant in Vail... except for Bully Ranch. That says it all! Highly recommend!“

“I had one 5-star experience and one 2-star experience.

The 2-star experience was mostly awful service... We only got our first drinks around 2 mins before we were given the cheque. Food was delivered wrong. Only saw the server once until we complained after food was delivered.

5-star experience was amazing the server was the best I've had in years. Charismatic, helpful, attentive. Pizza with honey wasn't a good decision. But was great food for everyone else.“

The food is served apparently only some days.. then there's no wait staff I guess anymore, and as much as this place suppose to be bumpin' for any apres ski time they decide to close at 4pm or so.. blew my mind.. absolutely the most prime real estate .. the way its ran I guarantee they're hitting less than 50% of its potential revenue! “This place is a hidden gem, as it’s located away from the center of Vail village, inside of a mountain lodge. Spacious, rustic interior creates a cozy ambiance featuring floor to ceiling windows and a stone fireplace. The food is amazing - a combination of French and American mountain cuisine. The portions are big and great for sharing.“

“We grabbed a window seat at Mountain Standard and it was the perfect spot to take in the snowy afternoon. After a long flight, the warm pimento cheese appetizer paired with a drink hit the spot. Comforting and exactly what we needed. We come back every time we're in Vail, and it never disappoints. Great atmosphere, great food, and a perfect way to settle into the mountains. “Favorite local spot for dinner drinks and all the right laid-back Colorado vibes you can handle. When I worked in Vail this is the spot everyone would go after work for food and drinks and if the locals love it you know it's good. If you're visiting Vail in the summer, winter, or ever the October mud season when everyone's gone, you HAVE to try Garfs at least once. You won't regret it.“

“Kasey and her team truly exceeded our expectations from start to finish.

From our very first meeting through the wedding day itself, their attention to detail was outstanding. The food was absolutely delicious, and we loved the way it was served in small batches—it never felt like a typical buffet, and everything stayed fresh and inviting. The butternut squash lasagna ended up being one of the biggest hits of the night, even among the most devoted meat lovers in our group!

The drinks were fantastic, and the staff brought such great energy and friendliness that they helped keep the celebration fun all night long.

“The veggie chili is very yummy and filling after a morning of skiing. Can add corn, onions, and hot sauce. They used to serve it over a baked potato too but sadly not anymore. There is also a quinoa/bean burger, but unknown if this is vegan. Items are only listed as vegetarian on the menu. They also sell bobo’s bars and a few other vegan snacks if you look.“

“We have this experience two summers as we had a new waiter the first time but same waiter this time. Our order took over an hr to get and the waiter came back after 45 min wait to tell us our 15 month child menu was not available. How could they not know when we ordered from children's menu. Unexceptionable! Then after over hr food came but one did not receive her smash burger. That is inexcusable! Waiter then came back to apologize. The manager was very polite and comp our meal. We actually liked the food we finally got which is sad. We will not try it again from two experiences the same.“

“Me and my family visited Gessner last weekend for dinner while staying at Grand Hyatt. The ambiance is really nice, very classy with those mountain views, but the food was a bit hit and miss :(

We ordered the chicken breast, which I was really looking forward to. The meat quality was good, no doubt, but it was lacking that punch of flavor. it felt a bit bland, like they forgot to add something.

My wife got the pesto pasta, which was better, but still too dry for our liking. It had good flavor, but needed more sauce to make it perfect.

Service was excellent.

The presentation of dishes was nice, though, and the place is super clean and fancy.

The barista was very friendly, even when guests came in for ice cream, which is next door, she'd point them in the right direction and tell them to enjoy their ice cream. This place can get packed quickly, but afternoon in the summer are quite pleasant.“

Over the past two years, the menu options and quality have improved significantly.There is a good bar on the first floor, Bistro 14. This use to be a restaurant, but post-COVID, it is just a bar.“

All perfectly cooked, with a few take home boxes. All Very Tasty. The chocolate cake to share at the end - all gone. OVERALL: Elways always delivers for us. Highly recommend.
