“Excellent meal for Valentine's Day! We had the special Valentine's Day menu (pretty much all new entrees) and it did not disappoint. The pork "spring roll" was amazing, as was the beef with grits and wish they could appear on their regular menu one day. The service was excellent as always. The wine was delicious and reasonably priced for the bottle.“

“I enjoyed the green zone, it had me flying high. Flying high when I tried their coffee drink. There was so much in it I don’t even know what to call it, but look at the picture, it looks delicious. I payed a pretty penny for it too, but pennies I got. This place cost a lot of green so bring your wallet, credit card too. Have fun, it’s good (at least their coffee drink is).“

Give this place a try-trust me (portions may seem small, but it was very filling- we ordered the bowl of fries, which came with a delicious sauce, CROQUETTES, fish burger, beef burger, and gnocchi pomodoro. “Toro Bar is honestly one of my favorite spots to chill. The bartender is awesome — super friendly and really makes you feel welcome as soon as you walk in. Drinks are great, and having a pool table there just adds to the vibe. Perfect place to hang out with friends and kick back.“

Like it) and the mushroom soup. Sorry I can’t provide pics cause I wanted to enjoy the full experience. Both plates excelled in presentation and flavors. They blew my mind; specially the mushroom soup. It was amazing! I also like that the Persian bowl was a feature by an Iranian chef recently arrived to the country. The ambience and service were outstanding as well. And I loved that I could, for once, speak Spanish without feeling intimidated.“

“If you are on a gluten free diet, this restaurant is a real treat. This is the ONLY restaurant I know of in the entire DC area that offers gluten free French toast!!! It is really yummy. It is gluten free cinnamon raison bread that they make into French toast. It is served with maple syrup that has few slices of bananas in it. It is always served warm. (Be sure to look for the bananas. If the French toast is served with sliced strawberries, that is the wheat based French toast.) This restaurant also has gluten free bread so most of their sandwiches can be made gluten free upon request. And they can make their eggs benedict gluten free by using their gluten free toast. It is a very pleasant experience dining here. I usually dine outside. They are located on a small street in Georgetown. Georgetown can be crowded but on this small street, it is never very busy. On a nice weather day, it is a pleasant experience to eat the gluten free French toast while enjoying the weather. The service is always good too. I enthusiastically recommend this restaurant.“

“First visit; I went for Restaurant Week. I ordered the chicken corn chowder, the short rib ravioli and the caramel cheesecake. The chowder was excellent, a great balance of corn and chicken and a goodly amount--but not too much--pepper. I loved it...and a very generous portion! The ravioli was super too--cooked to perfection, stuffed to capacity with cheese, accompanied by a nice hunk of well-seasoned and -cooked short rib. I wasn't able to finish it, so I took some home. I took the cheesecake home too and ate it after a couple of conf calls. Just the right amount of caramel with a couple of strawberries and a creme Anglaise sauce. Scrumptious!! I don't remember many occasions when I've loved all three courses of a meal, but that was certainly the case tonight. I can't wait to go back.“

The service was good, you only see the server when they bring you the food and you are gonna pay, other than that you order online, yes, even if you’re seating in the restaurant, odd but okay.“

“We had a great overall stay and really enjoyed our time at the hotel. The location was excellent—very convenient and within walking distance to many of the museums and main attractions, which made getting around with our family incredibly easy.

The hotel itself is beautiful and has a great atmosphere. That said, our room did feel a bit cramped for a family of four, and we found the lighting to be somewhat limited. The bed was also softer than we prefer, which made it a little less comfortable for us.

We did have an issue where some of our laundry was accidentally taken by housekeeping, likely mistaken for trash. While that was frustrating, the hotel staff was responsive and helpful in addressing the situation, which we appreciated.

On a positive note, the café was fantastic—both the food and drinks were excellent and something we looked forward to during our stay. We also really enjoyed meeting Garnet (“Mr. DC”), who was friendly, engaging, and added a special touch to our experience.

Overall, despite a few minor issues, we had a very good stay and would consider returning, especially for the location and service.“

“We came to DC for 3 days and 2 out of 3 days we came to Pearls!. I HIGHLYYYYY recommend coming here, even if its out of your way!! The bagels, sandwiches, coffee, and everything in-between is amazing! The customer service is just as amazing as the food! We will 10000% come back here!! “I will start with this, I love Rose Ave.

I came in today at 10am and was deciding on a drink I wasn’t sure I would like because it might be too sweet. The cashier was genuinely kind and reassuring, and told me that if I didn’t like it, I could always change it. That made me feel comfortable trying something new.

Unfortunately, the drink did end up being too sweet for me, so I went back to the barista to ask if I could switch it to something else. The response I got was honestly kind of a bummer. She sighed loudly, exchanged dirty looks with another barista. She also tried to convince me the other drink would be even sweeter, which wasn’t even true. It made me feel embarrassed for asking, especially after being told it would be okay to change it.

She wouldn’t even look at me when I went back to pick it up and tell her thank you….

I still love this place and will continue to come back, but this experience was a big reminder that customer service matters just as much.“

“We came for a birthday brunch, and had the best foods and time there. The foods came out pretty fast. All the dishes that we selected were delicious 😋, and so we're the desserts. The restaurant chain customer relation manager was at the restaurant today, came to greet us. He also gave coupon for a free appetizer at our next visit. Our waitress was attentive. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to our friends and families as well as come here again ourselves 🙂“

“I had the pleasure of dining at The Hitching Post DC. I ordered the grilled lamb chops, mac & cheese, collard greens. The lamb chops are in my top 2 of the best I've ever tasted. I don't normally order mac & cheese when I go out to a restaurant, but this order was perfect as well. The collard greens could use a little vinegar, however, they were still delicious. “I thoroughly enjoyed Dining at Bistro Du Jour! The greeter (Ian) was welcoming and friendly and our server (Dave) was equally as personable and attentive. The menu selection was extensive. I enjoyed the mussels, cheese platter and the Tuna Niçoise salad. The ambiance of the restaurant was conducive for our conversing while dining! I would definitely recommend this restaurant for the food and ambiance and plan to return again in the future!“

Friday night Ashley was great and sorry I didn’t get our great servers name on Saturday. Manager Ronald Vasquez was so personable and made us feel like regulars. Wish we lived a bit closer because we would be. Highly recommend!“
