“Finding a Filipino restaurant isn’t easy. So learning about Purple Patch thru Jo Koy—has ended this search! Literally, Filipino cuisine heaven! The restaurant is uniquely decorated, the staff were friendly, & the food hit that major comfort button for us! Thank you Zahara for being so sweet & a wonderful waitress. We can’t wait to come back for more!“

“Amazing dishes. Chive cakes, marigold, Laos wine, the butterfly and hummingbird were delicious. The presentation on the pla tong ma was almost as good as the flavor. Aim helped us choose our dishes and provided excellent service.“

“I enjoyed the green zone, it had me flying high. Flying high when I tried their coffee drink. There was so much in it I don’t even know what to call it, but look at the picture, it looks delicious. I payed a pretty penny for it too, but pennies I got. This place cost a lot of green so bring your wallet, credit card too. Have fun, it’s good (at least their coffee drink is).“

“The first time checking this place out. ordered it to go. Customer service was great, staff was knowledgeable of the menu and gave a great recommendation. I got the spaghetti drunken noodles with chicken. Phenomenal, definitely will be going back. I'm actually surprised the flavors were still intact. For it to be a to go order lol“

“We love to try new and different foods, and the quality of the food at the Immigrant Cafe was absolutely outstanding. Even our 7 and 9 year old kids found foods they loved. We particularly liked the ceviche, the chicken coconut curry and the dumplings. Foodie four thumbs up!“

“I had the best experience hosting my party at Turo Bar! The team truly went above and beyond to help plan and execute everything perfectly. They were so communicative, helpful, and incredibly thoughtful throughout the entire process.
I shared my theme, and Gabriela and her team brought it to life in ways I couldn’t have imagined, they provided so many decorations and completely transformed the space. I’m so grateful for the amazing team at Turo Bar and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to host a special event!“

“First visit; I went for Restaurant Week. I ordered the chicken corn chowder, the short rib ravioli and the caramel cheesecake. The chowder was excellent, a great balance of corn and chicken and a goodly amount--but not too much--pepper. I loved it...and a very generous portion! The ravioli was super too--cooked to perfection, stuffed to capacity with cheese, accompanied by a nice hunk of well-seasoned and -cooked short rib. I wasn't able to finish it, so I took some home. I took the cheesecake home too and ate it after a couple of conf calls. Just the right amount of caramel with a couple of strawberries and a creme Anglaise sauce. Scrumptious!! I don't remember many occasions when I've loved all three courses of a meal, but that was certainly the case tonight. I can't wait to go back.“

“Thank you so much for having my friends Kristina, Alex and I for dinner today. I just want to say that everything we had was great, my favorite being the la calabrese! Meiling took such good care of us, she is a wonderful host and we had some great conversations with her. We’ll def be back in the future to try some of the other pizzas. Your decor and ambience is fantastic as well, I really felt like I was at restaurant in Italy! Keep up the good work and thanks again for a wonderful evening!“

“5 stars isn't enough!! From the moment we walked in until the end of our night we were satisfied. The decorations, food, and service was amazing! They even offered me a quiet place to pray :). Give this place a try-trust me (portions may seem small, but it was very filling- we ordered the bowl of fries, which came with a delicious sauce, CROQUETTES, fish burger, beef burger, and gnocchi pomodoro. It felt like we were in nyc enjoy :)“

“If you are on a gluten free diet, this restaurant is a real treat. This is the ONLY restaurant I know of in the entire DC area that offers gluten free French toast!!! It is really yummy. It is gluten free cinnamon raison bread that they make into French toast. It is served with maple syrup that has few slices of bananas in it. It is always served warm. (Be sure to look for the bananas. If the French toast is served with sliced strawberries, that is the wheat based French toast.) This restaurant also has gluten free bread so most of their sandwiches can be made gluten free upon request. And they can make their eggs benedict gluten free by using their gluten free toast. It is a very pleasant experience dining here. I usually dine outside. They are located on a small street in Georgetown. Georgetown can be crowded but on this small street, it is never very busy. On a nice weather day, it is a pleasant experience to eat the gluten free French toast while enjoying the weather. The service is always good too. I enthusiastically recommend this restaurant.“

“First time was on Sunday, 6/21/26, to hear a friend sing and enjoy their brunch. It won't be my last! From making a reservation to the moment I left, I had nothing but a great experience. It's easy to get to from Metro, and though I was dining alone, I didn't feel alone. The atmosphere is very relaxing, the decor very warm and inviting, and I spent more than I had planned because I was having such a nice time. I saw a diverse clientele, from couples to families celebrating birthdays, young and more mature like me. Recommend highly.“

“Casamara at SIXTY DC was absolutely incredible. We came to celebrate my friend’s birthday, and the entire experience was amazing from start to finish. The service was truly above and beyond. Our waitress made my friend feel so special, cared for, and celebrated, which meant so much to us. The manager was also wonderful and made sure everything felt seamless and memorable.
The food was honestly to die for. Everything was cooked to perfection, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The vibe of the restaurant was perfect too. Stylish, warm, fun, and elevated without feeling stuffy.
This was such a special birthday experience, and I cannot recommend Casamara DC enough. We will absolutely be back and you will not be disappointed for going!“

“I was a solo traveler, stayed for 2 nights. I've requested a quiet room, which I've got.
Welcome champagne was amazing after long flight, straight at the front desk.
The hotel is very clean and well kept, the room was very comfortable and not small like some reviews online complaining (I stayed at superior). The shower was great too, with European shower head that you can move around. There was a lot of glass in bathroom (shelves etc.) and I would be a bit worried if I had my very active kindergartener around that, so that's something to consider if you have young kids.
The food was very good (room service 20% gratitude, $8 delivery, dinner averaged between $20 - $30, I've never waited longer than 10 minutes). Thermostat had drained batteries, I called front desk, they send a polite worker to fix it within a minute, all great.
The Riggs café is woth checking out, stunning ambience and truly top service. I spent time there having breakfast and lunch just reading kindle, no problem.
Silver Lyan - great ambience, drinks are amazing and the service again, awesome. Don't expect the drinks to be huge and made with the intent to get you drunk, they are more sophisticated, at least mine with absinthe, acorn... (It's alive!) was - it was so good I wish I had the recipe, martini was woth trying too. Again, I went earlier evening, spent an hour reading kindle, asked few questions about the place (the server was very polite and knowledgeable about the place). Music was pleasant and not too loud nor too quiet.
Worth noting - both Silver Lyan and Riggs café were cool temperature wise, so even in hot weather, I was comfortable sitting there in long sleeved top. Some underground bars tend to have stuffy air, but not this one.
Walking distance to National gallery of art was about 10 - 15 minutes (slow-ish tourist walk).
Over experience comparing with other hotels I stayed in: Riggs feels more personal (it feels like the employees really want you to have a good experience) and having more of its own personality, attention to detail, and management must be skilled at running the hotel smoothly without visible hiccups - not an easy achievement.“

“This is hands down the best bakery I have ever been to. I don’t think you can go wrong with anything they have. My personal favs from my recent visit were the scallion, egg & cheese croissant, crab rangoon croissant, and strawberry milk donut. If you are in the area while Rose Ave is open, you would be doing yourself a disservice by not stopping by. The only negative thing i can say about going here is that, for people who do not live in or frequent the DC area, you will forever long to return. There was almost 5 years between my first and second visit here, and i dreamed of that return every single day.“

“We loved having dinner so much on Friday night that we had lunch on Saturday! Lobster roll was delicious. Great selection of raw oysters. PEI mussels were the best! Service was on point. Friday night Ashley was great and sorry I didn’t get our great servers name on Saturday. Manager Ronald Vasquez was so personable and made us feel like regulars. Wish we lived a bit closer because we would be. Highly recommend!“

“Dinner at Herbivore Indian Cuisine was fantastic! Every dish had an authentic, homemade flavor. We loved the crispy Samosa Chaat and tender Chicken Pakora to start.
The Butter Chicken was rich, creamy, and perfectly buttery, while the Vegetable Biryani was fragrant and packed with spiced veggies and crunchy fried onions. The Lamb Vindaloo delivered bold, balanced heat with melt-in-your-mouth lamb.
Generous portions, fresh flavors, and friendly service make this a true DC favorite for both veg and non-veg cravings!“

“We came here after the nationals game and Dylan was our server and it was his best experience ever. My husband had the liver and onions and I had the cob salad and it was delicious. My sister-in-law had the avocado salad. I would come here at 10 out of 10 a time every single time and don’t forget to ask for Dylan as your waiter. It was amazing. And order the Mojito!“

“On vacation from RI, my husband and I and very good friends had lunch at Lily’s just this past week and we fully enjoyed experience! It was a beautiful sunny day, and we were greeted with sunny faces and a friendly, highly professional staff. We sat in the outdoor area and everything from being there to fill our water glasses and explaining the menu was covered. I highly recommend Lily’s if not just for the fact that we felt like we were at home but to top it off, the food was delicious. Try the Tropical salad and the meatball appetizer!!“

“I had the pleasure of dining at The Hitching Post DC. I ordered the grilled lamb chops, mac & cheese, collard greens. The lamb chops are in my top 2 of the best I've ever tasted. I don't normally order mac & cheese when I go out to a restaurant, but this order was perfect as well. The collard greens could use a little vinegar, however, they were still delicious. I will definitely dine there in the near future. The lemon cake had was flavorful, moist and delicious, too. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Exquisite food paired with excellent service. To start, our server Monique was phenomenal, radiant and one of the best servers I have encountered in my dining experience. What a blessing for Moon Rabbit to have such a phenomenal service/front of house team!
We sampled quite a few different courses on a very well crafted and diverse menu. “From the Earth” we tried the Crispy Mountain salad which was flavorful and refreshing in between our heavier courses, “From the Sea” we had the sweet potato & crab as well as the Mochi Beignet which brought unique flavors with bold combinations. The options “From the Land” we had both the rabbit and the pork - both which were rich but not overly heavy, a very well curated combination of flavors that worked well together in each dish. The deserts were divine, I usually do not like sweets as I lack a sweet tooth however the deserts at Moon Rabbit are light and refreshing! We had both the Curry and Apple deserts - I’d highly recommend both!
I also had the best mocktails I have ever had in my life - I highly recommend the Jade to anyone seeking a slightly tart, mildly sweet, well balanced non alcoholic beverage to pair with these divine courses.
Of course a huge thank you to Moon Rabbit for curating a unique and affordable dining experience!“
