“Try something different for lunch today in Downtown Fort Lauderdale area, try Blue Tree Cafe Vegan Soul Food by Nika King. This little cafe serves up all the soul, as Nika’s mom, Chef Sharon cooks up all of your soul food favorites, for a very reasonable price, plus special for this month, they have a home made burger for 954 Burger Month. The Black Bean Soul Burger is made with black beans, brown rice, toasted walnuts and a variety of spices and herbs. It’s served on a vegan brioche bun smered with a chipotle compound butter and house dressing, served here with hand cut sweet potato fries. The menu also has a lot of great options too, the crab balls are my favorite! Hours are limited as they are only open Tuesday - Thursday, 11-6 and are cashless business. They are located at 612 NW 9th Ave Ste A in Ft.Lauderdale, close to downtown, but they have do have a private free parking lot. Highly suggest checking them out this week, and trying the burger before the end of the month.“

“I am in town for business and after one visit to this little shrine offering stunning Thai cuisine I have been back two more times, and will make it a point to stop in again before I leave. I have lived throughout California, Florida, Ohio, Denver, New Orleans and Minneapolis and can state with absolute certainty this is in the top three of any Thai cuisine I have experienced in over 35 years of being a Thai food fiend. “The best Sugar Cane juice you can find anywhere!!! Ive been to many farmers markets and restaurants but NO ONE beats their freshly pressed sugar cane juice. I buy a half gallon each time I go with lime added. I finish it in 1-2 days tops.

The jerk oyster burger is my favorite on the menu. AGAIN…nobody else does it better!!! Literally no where. The flavors are amazing. The owners are amazing. It’s like coming home every time I go.

Earth’s Goddess is truly your best everyday Vegan restaurant you’ll ever visit. The food is delicious but not unhealthy heavy as some vegan restaurants are. You can truly come here every day and leave feeling nourished and satisfied. I loovvveee this place.“

“Ok so the lentil soup is very good. This is the second time having lentil soup and let me tell you it's made from scratch . Then I had the chicken sandwich and it was just perfect. The chicken cut wasosot and juicy. The bread toasted perfectly. Listen I'll be back again. Thank you for a nice meal“

The cookie wasn't what we were expecting, but still really good. It was more of a brownie consistency.

“This is your 5 star with classic, real family ties, food. The service is always above what you would expect. You still see chef Angelo. Menu items have family roots. Fresh is always key but the food is hand selected. Pistachios from certain regions. Pork chops of a specific type. Prosciutto aged 24 months. Top notch! I’ve been dining here for over 15 years and have never had a bad experience.“

“My husband and I went here for our anniversary and it was a great choice. We were treated very well with a decorated table, a free dessert, and a nice card from the restaurant.

The appetizers were the star of the show! We got the crab cake, beef tartar, and we each got the lobster bisque. These were our favorite items of our entire vacation!! Very fresh and delightful. We also got the sea bass and scallops which were also quite delicious- although I will say the sweet potato puree was a touch too sweet for my liking with rich scallops. Nonetheless, very tasty. Great cocktails as well and fantastic service!“

Ignacio was an absolute gem! attentive, warm, and made the whole visit even better. Lately it feels like many places are overpriced with mediocre service and attitude, but this was the complete opposite. Excellent food, excellent service, and a good vibe. Easy A+. “Tried Pita Express and it exceeded expectations. My son and nephew recommended it, and after trying it, I see why they like it so much.

They do something you don’t see often—they have both lamb and turkey shawarma on separate spits. I went with the lamb, and it was excellent—juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly.

The pita really stands out. It’s softer, fluffier, and feels homemade, which makes a big difference compared to the usual wraps.

They also serve complimentary fries on the side, which is a nice added touch.

Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to. If you enjoy shawarma, this place is worth trying.“

A server named Allie came over and checked to make sure we were on the list.When we were seated Allie took great care of us and the meal was great !!!
