“Really enjoy this place. The atmosphere is peaceful and cozy. The baristas are excellent people who know their products but also have interesting backgrounds and talents. I have enjoyed a few conversations on lazy days with the folks working here. The coffee and tea and the elixirs are all delicious and I highly recommend. Parking is easy. Either park in lot or across the street .... Gillys also has events they host but I don't see them posted on FB... I usually just ask at the counter.”

Not only did they do an amazing job with that, but it was by far her favorite meal of the trip. Our waitress was amazing and very sweet. Plus, the restaurant itself was such a cool vibe. I want to take a moment to recognize Brenna from McDonald’s for going above and beyond during my recent visit. I came in hoping to get the best value to feed five kids from my neighborhood who told me they were hungry and didn’t have any food at home. Brenna not only greeted me with kindness, but she took the time to patiently explain the menu, pointing out the best deals and helping me stretch every dollar to make sure these kids could eat a full meal.

Her compassion and willingness to help turned what could have been a stressful situation into a heartwarming experience. It’s rare to meet someone who truly cares, and Brenna demonstrated that customer service is about more than transactions—it’s about people. Because of her, five kids went home with full stomachs and big smiles.

But they didn't have the flavor requested! Disaster. A customer said tiramisu was a house specialty, and the young lady behind the counter agreed that it was her favorite. Even though tiramisu is a gamble with a new crowd, I went for it. It was one of the most delicious, perfect cakes I've ever had. That any of us had ever had. It's what all other tiramisu wishes it could be. Good price, too. I 100% will get my next cake there.”

It's a bakery, not really a restaurant, although there are a few tables inside. I went to stock up on makes goods and a few grocery items.

My order was taken quickly and when the food came out it was hot and exactly what requested.Now for the food! I had the Salmon and Mash dinner. When I say the salmon was cooked perfectly and seasoned to perfection. Additionally, the portion was HUGE!!!! My date had the Steak and Mash dinner! Again, the steak was cook to perfection and seasoned perfectly. And once again the portions are large.Lastly, the drinks!!!! Were amazing and the bartender was too!!!! I strongly recommend you ask for Rose as she is knowledgeable, professional, and beautiful (not that that really matters) but I say all that to say this... Circa1890 is a full package. Great food, even better customer service, and a bartender that is easy on the eyes.”

Overall, we had a positive experience.

Parking is shared with other businesses in the plaza, but there are plenty of spaces available, including room for larger vehicles and tractor trailers.

When we first arrived, one of the employees seemed a bit intense. He encouraged us to take our time looking over the menu, but remained nearby while we reviewed our options. My friend also felt somewhat rushed while placing an order. As the visit continued, the atmosphere became more relaxed and the service felt more comfortable.

The portions were extremely generous. We ordered the goat with chapati, which reminded us of roti, and two people were able to share it and leave satisfied. We also shared the king fish with rice, which was very good and still provided leftovers. Another member of our group ordered the tibis with spaghetti, and that portion was large enough to take some home as well. Although the menu described the tibis as spicy, we found it to be fairly mild.

The food was flavorful, the portion sizes offered excellent value, and there was plenty of seating available. While the service could have been warmer at the beginning of our visit, the quality of the food and the generous portions made for an enjoyable dining experience overall.”
