“Our family of five stopped in for breakfast and were blown away! The food was absolutely phenomenal—every dish was flavorful and cooked perfectly. The service was top-notch, with such friendly and efficient staff who made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. And the portion sizes? Insane (in the best way)! We left full and still had plenty to take home and enjoy the next day. Highly recommend this spot if you’re anywhere near Wahiawā!”

“Stopped for an early lunch on a Thursday. Very fortunate that there was parking, because after we pulled in the two other spots filled up instantly. Not to knock the service at this location, but I believe future orders will be take-out. Besides, when you eat at home you can just let the food coma knock you out, as opposed to fighting it on the drive home from the restaurant.

We started with the guacamole and chips. It seemed a little unusual that it was served in a take out bowl, but upon reflection this makes perfect sense. We didn't finish it, and it easily packed up to go with us. Also, it was a nice chunky style that we liked very much.

I ordered the 3 carne asada (steak) street tacos. Awesome.

My wife ordered the carnitas (pork) Barrio burrito. Going to order this the next time.

My mother-in-law and grandmother both had shrimp Barrio burritos. They didn't share.

Everyone raved about the food. Service was top notch, with the waitress stopping by often to check our water, quality of food. When we finished up we also ordered some things to go.

“We had the seafood combo, the teriyaki steak bowl, double cheeseburger deluxe, chicken sandwich and two orders of fries , 3 fountain drinks and a coconut water. Steak bowl was small but it was very filling. Burger was huge and so was the chicken sandwich. Seafood combo was delicious. Definitely recommend”

“My Friend and I ordered corn beef hash. DA Bes in town. Friend wanted his eggs soft scrambled. Our waitress, Rhea, knew exactly how it's made as many establishments overcook them. She said she would inform the cook. They were served exactly as my friend, Bob, wanted. Great service even with a full house. We will become regulars for sure!!!!!”

“I had such a great experience at 2 Mom Kitchen! The meat jun was tender, & flavorful, and the bibimbap was fresh, & colorful. The lady at the counter welcomed me with such kindness. While it’s not a full sit-down restaurant, there’s a small table with three chairs where you can wait comfortably for your order. And the free street parking makes stopping by so easy. I can’t wait to come back and try more from their menu.”

“This was a nice little place to visit. I'm not personally a coffee drinker, but I did try some samples. It was pretty good! We bought some coffee for the coffee-drinkers in the Family. I really wish they would have given some type of a brief presentation of how coffee is grown and the process for turning it into coffee grounds.”

“Sometimes when a business has few reviews and all are 5 stars, it's reason to be wary- this cafe is 100% an exception.
I stumbled upon this place almost totally by accident and what I found inside were great service, cozy vibes, and delicious food + drink at a very reasonable price. I got a large iced latte (with flavoring & alternative milk!!) and a panini and it was just over $12 total. Staff was very personable and helpful- I don't make it to Wahiawa often, but now, I certainly want to :)”

“Kilani Bakery is the ABSOLUTE BEST bakery in Hawaii!! Kilani Bakery has the most delicious brownies ever!! Those brownies are so incredibly delicious that they give you options to choose from! The butter rolls are phenomenal!! ANYTHING that has their incredible chocolate frosting on it is a WINNER!! Truthfully? You cannot go wrong with whatever you buy at this bakery❣️”

“Is a nice little dessert shop in Wahiawa. I ordered a Green River Shake from them and it tasted just as amazing as it looks. It had an old school home made taste to it. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is craving something sweet and to anyone who is tired of McDonald's having their ice cream machine broken.”

“I've never had shabushabu before and it was amazing! So many choices of everything! It's buffet and ridiculously delicious. So much food and so healthy too. Good idea to go for lunch because it's cheaper than dinner. And they were so kind to let me and my friend sit as long as we wanted. The service was wonder. I will definitely be back!”

“My husband and I Read about this place through the support 808 page and saw they offered porkroll and scrapple. For a born and raised South Jersey girl, finding those on this island is heaven! We ordered a couple of Hoagies for lunch and porkroll and scrapple and pickles too! Definitely a place we will be often! Reminds me of a good stop to take hoagies to go when going down the shore! Thank you for the bottom on my heart for sharing a taste of home! The Hoagies were exactly right for East Coast sub shop! I almost went back to get pizza for dinner too!”

“The Great Wall Chinese Restaurant was an unexpected find. We try to find non-touristy and local restaurants. It’s about 35 minutes from Honolulu. Annika (sp?) was a wonderful server. She answered all our questions, gave perfect suggestions and was very attentive. The food was delicious and had leftovers (we ordered a lot). We had crab rangoons & the soft won tons as appetizers. Pat ordered the General Tso’s Chicken Plate and half Roasted Duck, which he LOVED. I ordered the Pepper Garlic Pork Chop (DELICIOUS!!) and Hawaiian Fried Rice. I asked for sau-sau-an (sp? a type of Filipino vinegar garlic dipping sauce), which added to the taste of the pork. The Ube Ice Cream was a delicious surprise. The reason for the 4 stars for food is because the fried rice was a little overcooked. If we were staying longer, we would go to it a few more times. If you get a chance to go, you won’t be sorry.”

“Another Wahiawa Gem! Was waiting at another Chinese restaurant for them to open and got impatient and wound up here. Was only craving egg rolls and crispy gaugee. The price here is .99 per piece which is way cheaper than most Chinese restaurants in Hawaii. I got a clam shell full with a side of hot mustard and oh my goodness… I’ve had gaugee and egg rolls from just about everywhere and this has been the best I’ve had on island! Can’t believe I’ve passed this place over and over. Will be taking my family back (tonight haha) mahalo”

My only complaint the jukebox can eat shit it's annoying that you may drop $10-20 to never hear you song play (unless you pay triple). Early in the night patrons play banger after banger of you like metal....

However as the night goes on the trash gets played, Buck Cherry and Creed are absolutely shite to listen to... I really dislike the jukebox/how it's setup.”

This place has some good pad Kee mau, panang curry, and spring rolls. We will be going back again and bringing our fur babies with us.

“Lot of Ono food for the price. It’s more than enough for 3 meals. Meat jun is tasty and soft. Fish Jun is tasty. Got the fish jun without rice and they loaded up the banchan. Friendly service and also met owner June who is so nice. She told me they’re using a 50 year old Dong Yang meat jun recipe. No wonder it’s at the top tier of my meat jun go to places.”

“Old school Wahiawa Korean restaurant thats been around seemingly forever thats known for their meat jun. The original owners arent there anymore so maybe thats why the taste is a bit different nowdays. Still good but not like I remember. Service is typical of Korean restaurants.... Gotta flag them down if you want something.

Post covid hours have changed so they close very early now. Been just ordering to go, and as a common rule wherever i go I check my order before I leave🤙A generous 4 stars.”
