“This place has great food and drinks. The steaks are always perfect, and for far less than other restaurants. Chilled bowls for the excellent salads. Side dishes-especially the mashed potatoes- are amazing. They are far and away the best value for an excellent steak dinner. And the strawberry shortcake dessert is delicious. And the Jack and Cokes for $5.49....cant say enough good things about Longhorn.”

“Great suggestions from Robin our server. The three choices from the seperate menu were great, savory sweet... Loved the manicotti appetizer..slightly spicey for me..savory and sweet. The chicken sandwich was huuuuge with coleslaw WAS fantastic and the chocolate chip cookie with warm chicolate chips on tge bottom of tge cast iron skillet it came out with was warm with vanilla bean ice cream, salted caramel and heath bar was over the top. It was too sweet but taste was good!.Took most home. Shared everything with my mom and had leftovers. What a great deal for 30.00! Robin Goldapp was wonderful, great conversation with her and great prompt service! The food did take pretty long time and Robin did come out and tell us she checked on it and it still not ready so she knew enough to look for it because of the time. However we sat on the patio and it was warm but beautiful outside. The host and other servers were attentive! Thank you from Carla and Paula!”

“Ate at HyVee Restaurant in Council Bluffs today the Tenderloin was huge ,cheap and so good one of the best I have had. The burger was delicious $8.55 for the Tenderloin Meal , $10 for the Burger. And there’s a Bar , Service was excellent my second time around wish I would have got her name, the first cashier was rude when asked about the meal or anything else she would remark you want it yes or no ! cash or card yes or no! Management should get rid of this cashier!”

“Celebrating an early birthday with my teenage Son and Husband after a fun filled day at Vala's Pumpkin Patch in Gretna, NE. The view of Omaha from the table we were seated at was amazing. I was born and raised in Omaha and moved away late 2007, it was amazing to see the downtown area of Omaha from the view we had. The food we ordered was amazing, including the water and soda, it tasted nice, cool and crisp. The warm bread served with butter was top notch! The steaks we all ordered were cooked to perfection and the sides we had, indescribable, but very delicious. The salad I got was tasteful and my Husband and Son enjoyed the broccoli cheddar soup, it was nothing I've taste tested before. The experience overall was 5 stars. Thank you for the selection of seating us at that table and the customer service we received. The waitress and other lady "Moon" had the best customer service I've had in a long time; they made our experience enjoyable. Thank you so much as a first timer here.”

“My husband and I went to CB for a concert and I searched for a fun, cute, local place to eat. So glad I found the Porch! We had DELICIOUS food and loved the atmosphere. I love all things vintage so I especially enjoyed that each table had different salt and pepper shakers, most of which were true vintage. The plates our meals came on reminded me of dinner at my great grandma’s house.. which is a good thing!…and I noticed everyone had different plates, too. So fun! Absolutely love a good down-home feeling place. 10/10 will return!”

“my daughter and I went to barleys yesterday for lunch. loved that it was handicap accessible without any steps. We sat towards the back of the reatraunt and was quickly serviced by a waitress to get our drink orders and given menus. I ordered the patty melt and my daughter ordered a Canadian pizza. both were really good. the only thing we wished were different and I say we because she stole a lot of my fries lol were the fries needed seasoned with something. we had to add salt. and the patty melt sandwich could've used an added sauce like Dorothy lynch or something. it wasn't dry just needed something else to add flavor. otherwise it was really good. will definitely be back.”

It was the best burger I have had anywhere for years-full leaf of lettuce, slice of tomato and pickle, so good. The staff was efficient but not friendly and looked unhappy. As we left, I thanked two workers that I walked by, said it was a great lunch. They didn’t even acknowledge me.”

“Today was our 4th trip to Culvers. The meal we had was delicious. They have the softest pretzels and hot cheese I have ever had. I was really disappointed though with the raspberry malt. it looked like a chocolate malt instead of a raspberry one. I took a swallow and got a big mouth full of malt flavor. topped off with big chunks of raspberry. it might have been good if it was one of the cement drinks. I called back and told the worker what had happened, he said bring it back and we'll make a new one. Thank you for your kindness sir. I would definitely recommend Culvers to anyone”

The atmosphere is absolutely astonishing and if I were the owner of that restaurant I couldn’t imagine what changes I could possibly make because it is already perfect and you cannot change something that is already perfect. I still remember the first time I went to this restaurant and smelled the inside; from that exact moment I knew, this restaurant was going to be one of my best experiences ever. If I had the chance to hangout with Lionel Messi I would definitely take them there and I recommend all humans to give this restaurant a try. It can change your life and the way you view things in this already beautiful world. I have been blessed by the almighty Heavenly Father to be born in a time where Olive Garden exists and I am eternally grateful for that.”

Wasn’t feeling the bigger chain place across the street and decided to pull in and give this Blimpies a try. I found exactly what I was looking for. I watched as this older gal just berated and cussed out the people behind the counter who were making their food. Jason, the manager stepped up after a little bit and asked these “customers” to leave. Good for him too! Staff and other guests in the establishment didn’t need to hear or deal with this ongoing ridiculousness and he handled it very well. I have been in customer service for many years and feel he deserves many accolades for handling this situation so well! Also, my food was fabulous as always. I have never had a bad meal here and the service has always been amazing!”

“Oskies is a bar I've visited quite a few times, particularly to watch my Chicago Bears lose to whatever team they're up against. The staff is always so friendly and inviting. and the patrons all seem to get along despite everybody cheering for different teams and simultaneously pitying the poor Bears fans. I had a few slices of a thin crust, cheese pizza and some chicken Nachos which arrived quickly. Oskies has no pool tables, nor karaoke, but darts and video poker will keep you distracted from how bad our Bears are doing. The bathroom has a ton of graffiti , which you'll notice, should you excuse yourself to the bathroom to cry in a stall about The Offensive Line of the Chicago Bears.”

The staff tends to be friendly, so overall I would say the service here is pretty good. They have a decent amount of seating and they tend to keep the place pretty clean. “This is a great place for a party of 30 for about $8.50 a person including drinks provided you're okay with mostly single topping pizzas. They will give you 3 hours in the party room that seats at least 30 people. The tables can be arranged any way you in the party room, so if you need a open space in the middle of the room, you can have it. The last time the place's interior had a remodel was probably in the 80s, but it's probably had fresh coats of paint in the last couple years. They don't serve kelp, tofu or sushi so it might not impress your fake tan in-laws, but for regular folk it's pretty decent.

Kid-friendliness: They have tons of quarter machines with toys and stickers.
