I feel like we are always having to find someone to fill up our drinks, appetizers aren’t put in, we were very patient on a day they had one sushi chef but was told the wait would be 20 min…an hour & 15 later our food hadn’t been started and it was so quiet in there.. I will say the sushi is amazing and always has been but table service hasn’t been there. I Would still recommended for sushi (we haven’t tried hibachi yet) just hoping the service picks up a little.”

The prime rib was delicious and perfectly tender. The beef bourguignon, pho, and mashed potatoes were also all great. And of course, the crab legs - the crab legs were amazing! Eat as much as you can, there will still be more. My advice? Get small amounts, and just keep going up for more. That way you're always eating hot, fresh crab! They will not run out, it's awesome.”

Tonight was great, Hailey stayed open for us so that we could stay and watch Iowa State Play. The outcome wan't the best but, once a fan, always a fan. Love the new remodel, the food is always hot and really good. They never miss a beat when it comes to taking care of us. Mary P, thank you for always helping to get us set up. “Came into town for the Omaha Zoo and looked up places with karaoke and Kikkers popped up! Darts boards, Touchtunes (before karaoke), pool tables and cheap drinks and slot machines! What more do you need? Definitely will be back! Oh and we had the chicken tenders and house made chips and both were SO good!”

“my daughter and I went to barleys yesterday for lunch. loved that it was handicap accessible without any steps. We sat towards the back of the reatraunt and was quickly serviced by a waitress to get our drink orders and given menus. I ordered the patty melt and my daughter ordered a Canadian pizza. both were really good. the only thing we wished were different and I say we because she stole a lot of my fries lol were the fries needed seasoned with something. we had to add salt. and the patty melt sandwich could've used an added sauce like Dorothy lynch or something. it wasn't dry just needed something else to add flavor. otherwise it was really good. will definitely be back.”

“We eat at Rue’s Village Inn almost every Sunday. The food is always delicious and served so quickly. The wait staff are always friendly even on a day with so many to serve.”

“Looks like a very nice and clean location. Parking lot is small and tight, but they seem to get people in and out without too much delay or backup. Staff was extremely polite and courteous - which is so refreshing! Props to you folks for doing customer service right.
First time eating here - I know shame on me, born & raised in Omaha and decades later finally trying it out. I ordered the spicy jack runza. It was delicious - perfect amount of heat and tasted freshly made. The bread was so soft - just perfect. I wasn't a big fan of the fries. I'm not sure if it's what they are fried in or seasoning (appeared to just be salt) but they just tasted a little different to me.
Shakes are just okay, the chocolate had a little bitter taste to it. Not from being old, but more like the type flavoring used. The ice cream cones are RIDICULOUSLY small for the $2.40. You could have stacked so much more ice cream on those cones. We were extremely disappointed in the size. Unless you are a toddler, I recommend adults save your money & get ice cream somewhere else.

So in summary, food is fantastic - service is top notch - but stay away from the disappointment of the size of ice cream! :(”

“I came in yesterday to order food to go. In front of me there were 3 adults that were all together. I watched as this older gal just berated and cussed out the people behind the counter who were making their food. Jason, the manager stepped up after a little bit and asked these “customers” to leave. Good for him too! Staff and other guests in the establishment didn’t need to hear or deal with this ongoing ridiculousness and he handled it very well. I have been in customer service for many years and feel he deserves many accolades for handling this situation so well! Also, my food was fabulous as always. I have never had a bad meal here and the service has always been amazing!”

“Today was our 4th trip to Culvers. The meal we had was delicious. They have the softest pretzels and hot cheese I have ever had. I was really disappointed though with the raspberry malt. it looked like a chocolate malt instead of a raspberry one. I took a swallow and got a big mouth full of malt flavor. topped off with big chunks of raspberry. it might have been good if it was one of the cement drinks. I called back and told the worker what had happened, he said bring it back and we'll make a new one. Thank you for your kindness sir. I would definitely recommend Culvers to anyone”

“Fun place and decor. Really busy for lunch but order was correct, hot, and delicious. The single cheeseburger is huge, really enough to share-same with kids meals. It was the best burger I have had anywhere for years-full leaf of lettuce, slice of tomato and pickle, so good. The staff was efficient but not friendly and looked unhappy. As we left, I thanked two workers that I walked by, said it was a great lunch. They didn’t even acknowledge me.”

“Personal butchers special - it was good, had a nice golden/brown cheese on top with a decent underbelly to hold it together.

Large cheese ravioli - it was good but not that much flavor going on and same with the marinara sauce. They had a little bit of flavor but other than that mostly just bland.

Overall everything was good. I really enjoyed the pizza and as for the appetizer I might change it up next time.”

“Oskies is a bar I've visited quite a few times, particularly to watch my Chicago Bears lose to whatever team they're up against. The staff is always so friendly and inviting. and the patrons all seem to get along despite everybody cheering for different teams and simultaneously pitying the poor Bears fans. I had a few slices of a thin crust, cheese pizza and some chicken Nachos which arrived quickly. Oskies has no pool tables, nor karaoke, but darts and video poker will keep you distracted from how bad our Bears are doing. The bathroom has a ton of graffiti , which you'll notice, should you excuse yourself to the bathroom to cry in a stall about The Offensive Line of the Chicago Bears.”

“It was a little bit of a wait, but totally worth it! Tommy was our host and he did a phenomenal job sitting us. I was seeking out about Guy Fieri after watching him for years, so naturally Tommy provided us the best table for an amazing experience.

My friend and I both had the Bacon Mac and Cheese Burger. I have had burgers that hit your gut with grease and leave you feeling yucky, this one was not the case. Not only was it delicious, but well balanced. The crispy onion frills added the much needed texture to compliment the thin pickles, refreshing lettuce, and cheesy mess of a burger. The fry trio - french fries, twisted seasoned wedges, and waffle fries - was something I haven't seen before but thoroughly loved. We split the brookie for dessert and have no complaints.

100% recommend this burger and place for anyone else who enjoys watching Guy Fieri! Just be aware you may be waiting a while for your food.”
