“We eat here quite a bit when we are in the area for work & aways come hungry. The last three times we have stopped hasn’t been the best. I feel like we are always having to find someone to fill up our drinks, appetizers aren’t put in, we were very patient on a day they had one sushi chef but was told the wait would be 20 min…an hour & 15 later our food hadn’t been started and it was so quiet in there.. I will say the sushi is amazing and always has been but table service hasn’t been there. I Would still recommended for sushi (we haven’t tried hibachi yet) just hoping the service picks up a little.”

“Ate at HyVee Restaurant in Council Bluffs today the Tenderloin was huge ,cheap and so good one of the best I have had. The burger was delicious $8.55 for the Tenderloin Meal , $10 for the Burger. And there’s a Bar , Service was excellent my second time around wish I would have got her name, the first cashier was rude when asked about the meal or anything else she would remark you want it yes or no ! cash or card yes or no! Management should get rid of this cashier!”

“We went here for Omaha Restaurant Week 26, and boy was it a steal! For $50 each, we had one of the best meals we’ve had in a long time. I pray the location puts two of the items I had on the menu someday.

I ordered the King Salmon Tostada and, though it arrived after almost an hour of waiting (they were slammed), it was well worth the wait. Perfect crunch of the small tostada shells, delicious garlic aioli, bright mango salsa, and delicate chucks of salmon. +10! My husband ordered a caprese salad that had the perfect amount of salt and pepper to really being out the freshness of those plump heirloom tomatoes. +9

For our second course, my hubby ordered the filet which was as expected but with a great red wine demiglaze that made it sing. I got the dueling brown sugar pork chops with a bacon jam that was grilled to absolute perfection. Bone in and unbelievably juicy. Dessert wasn’t that over the top but the carrot cake was big enough that we had to take it home.

If you get a chance to stop by during Omaha’s Restaurant Week 2026, please do! It’s one hell of a deal and well worth your time!”

“my daughter and I went to barleys yesterday for lunch. loved that it was handicap accessible without any steps. We sat towards the back of the reatraunt and was quickly serviced by a waitress to get our drink orders and given menus. I ordered the patty melt and my daughter ordered a Canadian pizza. both were really good. the only thing we wished were different and I say we because she stole a lot of my fries lol were the fries needed seasoned with something. we had to add salt. and the patty melt sandwich could've used an added sauce like Dorothy lynch or something. it wasn't dry just needed something else to add flavor. otherwise it was really good. will definitely be back.”

I was really disappointed though with the raspberry malt. it looked like a chocolate malt instead of a raspberry one. I took a swallow and got a big mouth full of malt flavor. topped off with big chunks of raspberry. it might have been good if it was one of the cement drinks. I watched as this older gal just berated and cussed out the people behind the counter who were making their food. Jason, the manager stepped up after a little bit and asked these “customers” to leave. Good for him too! Staff and other guests in the establishment didn’t need to hear or deal with this ongoing ridiculousness and he handled it very well. I have been in customer service for many years and feel he deserves many accolades for handling this situation so well! Also, my food was fabulous as always. I have never had a bad meal here and the service has always been amazing!”

Outstanding Service, Amazing Wings, and an Immaculate Restaurant!

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Wingstop in Council Bluffs! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by how clean, immaculate, and modern the restaurant was. It was obvious that the entire team takes pride in the location and in the experience they provide to their customers.

I especially want to recognize Dawn, who provided me with truly exceptional service. She was friendly, welcoming, professional, and went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. It’s not every day you come across someone who genuinely seems to care about the customers they serve, and Dawn was a perfect example of that. She made me feel appreciated and welcome, and her positive attitude really stood out.

The entire crew was amazing as well. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and professional, and the service was excellent from start to finish.

And of course, the food was outstanding! I ordered the 15-piece Louisiana Rub wings, and they were absolutely delicious. The flavor was incredible, and the wings were exactly what I was hoping for. You can tell that this location takes pride in serving quality food.

I will definitely be coming back to this Wingstop, and I highly recommend giving this location a try. Don’t miss out on a great restaurant, an amazing crew, and especially the excellent service from people like Dawn who make the experience even better. “Oskies is a bar I've visited quite a few times, particularly to watch my Chicago Bears lose to whatever team they're up against. The staff is always so friendly and inviting. and the patrons all seem to get along despite everybody cheering for different teams and simultaneously pitying the poor Bears fans. I had a few slices of a thin crust, cheese pizza and some chicken Nachos which arrived quickly. Oskies has no pool tables, nor karaoke, but darts and video poker will keep you distracted from how bad our Bears are doing. The bathroom has a ton of graffiti , which you'll notice, should you excuse yourself to the bathroom to cry in a stall about The Offensive Line of the Chicago Bears.”

I purchased an ice cream cake from the DQ in Manawa and asked if the could write 17 for my daughter’s 17th birthday and some sprinkles. When they brought the cake out from the back, I wanted to cry! It was horrible and embarrassing. I was trying to think of a quick fix and I immediately thought of Eileen’s but didn’t know if they could or would help. I walked in and explained to the decorator the situation. She asked me what colors and what I wanted. She was amazing and saved the Birthday and my mama heart! Thank you”

The Trash Can Nachos really steal the show. They are absolutely loaded with melty toppings and the presentation is wonderful. My Bacon Mac-n-Cheese Burger was delicious. However, it is so sloppy and gooey that once you pick it up, you can't put it down until you are done. The tenderloin was the size (and shape) of New Hampshire. The cheese fries were awesome while the wings and margarita were ok but not special.
