He eats biscuits and gravy sausage links and fried potatoes there. when before we went there he wouldn't eat anything but McDonald's. so glad to have this place to go to. “I got the Veggie Naan sandwich with red pepper hummus delivered. It was so delicious! I am a very picky vegetarian. This sandwich is FIRE! So good! Was so happy to see a real vegetarian option and not the typical junk other restaurants offer as vegetarian meals. Highly recommend! I will definitely be ordering this meal again!

“Good donuts usually good service. Last visit we were the only customer at 430p on a Friday. Girl was in a hurry to get us out and they were mostly out of donuts ( I was getting them after work for Saturday morning work). Iced long John’s were icing down in the bottom of the box and donuts I asked for in addition to the dozen for work weren’t in the bag or the box. Like I said great donuts and hopefully next time it’ll be a better experience.”

Our server, Rose did a fabulous job. 4 out of 5 of us had never dined here before and Rose was so helpful with her recommendations from the menu. We started with a couple appetizers, toasted artichoke hearts and stuffed mushrooms. Both apps were very good. My pepperloin with a side of blue cheese and bacon potatoes was delicious and the steak was cooked to perfection. Tony’s is a great place for a special occasion or a date night. We will definitely be back!”

“I hadn't had Fast Eddies Chicken in years. My dad wanted it for his birthday a few weeks back. I was planning on getting several meals but contacted them to see if they did bulk orders. fun facts they do and they nailed it! food was still very hot by the time I got it across town. Staff was great! The new owners are just as good as the last ones. I will definitely recommend them for any dinner.”

“First time here. So glad we stopped. It was Fish Fryday! The fries were crispy, the hush puppies were crunchy and sweet and the fish.... THE FISH WAS AMAZING! The batter was crispy and didn't taste burnt (huge deal to me) and the fish was fully cooked and still moist and flaky.

“China King is my favorite Chinese food in this area. Especially if you are a crab rangoon fan like myself, THEE best around here! They are quick and efficient. Not somewhere I would sit and eat but great for take out. Veggie St Paul, veggie lo mein, fried dumplings, egg rolls, general tso's are all good. They even sell some quality natural care products like lotion, tooth paste, and face masks. My last fortune cookie from there had 4 fortunes in it! Made me feel pretty lucky!

“Hong Kong House - How Happy I am to have you opened again! The ONLY Chinese Restaurant in the Alton area that serves REAL Chinese Veggies in their meals - NOT frozen peas, carrots, & corn. I ordered the Veggie Fried Rice - served with thinly sliced carrots, bean sprouts, water chestnuts, baby corn, and bamboo shoots just to name a few. We also had Hunan Chicken Combo Plate with Fried Rice and Crab Rangoon - Yummy. Again lots or real fresh veggies without being over loaded with huge chunks of onion. Love Love Love the food here”

“I've stopped in here a few times since I live just down the road from it. The times I've gone in, it wasn't too busy, but they tell me they have a good time on a Saturday night. It's really not your best bet if you want food. They serve your basic frozen pizzas and the like, but nothing remarkable. Sammi's Subs, next door, is another story though. EXCELLENT sandwiches (but they aren't open late). Like another reviewer said, I think Norb's is a great dive-bar with some pool tables and darts. Probably the most fun if you bring a friend or two, and preferably ones who like to play pool or darts. I believe they were cash only at the bar, and they didn't really have a lot of drink specials when I went. So bring cash.”

“3/23/25. I wanted to try the fries that they brag about after switching to the lighter oil. WOW what a difference, the fries actually taste a lot better and lighter. So under $10 bucks u can get a double Cheeseburger combo and drink. What a good experience. I will make Steak & Shake one of my favorite places to hve lunch. Everything is automated. You order at the keask and pay right there also. You need your receipt and QR code to receive your drink.”
