“It's been a long while since I've been at this District Brew Yards location and I don't remember Lillie's Q. Pictured here is a Pimento Cheese Sausage Link ($8 and a style I've never tasted before 5/5), half a pound of Brisket ($17, probably one of the best I've had 5/5), both come with a side of onions and pickles, and ordered sides of Coleslaw ($4, dry, not creamy 3/5) and Mac & Cheese ($6, which was average 2.5/5). Not a huge fan of how the BBQ sauce packets came, pictured here - opted for Hot Smoky and Smoky Barbecue Sauce. A bit pricey but was filling. Would like to try the Tri-Tip, Hot Link, and Chicken Wings next visit.

“If you are in Chicago and want to eat Wagyu Steak: This is definitely the correct place!
We enjoyed our visit in this restaurant our waitress supported us by grilling the food and we enjoyed the dinner. Unfortunately I forgot here name, but I will update the comment when I remember her name. She was really very helpful and with great patience as we not understood in the beginning the system.
So for my followers I will explain the process:
Basicly you have two tiers to select: Silver and Gold. The details of the tiers can give your waitress.
You order through a iPad and each person can order 6 different dishes. Be careful the time is limited on 2 hours.
I would suggest to go early to avoid any waiting times.

I asked for extra sauce on my Jumbo tip and link combo, small turkey tip, and 6 wings ($55). I asked her what she said and she went all off. “I wasn’t talking to you I was talking to her!” I asked what her name was and she refused to give it to me. No name tags present or I wouldn’t have asked. Then she directed me to the manager who was also preparing food for any concerns that I may have. I asked the manager Nivia Battle (I think that’s what she said) was she required to give me her name. She said no. Her attitude was crappy as well. Just negative energy behind the glass. Except for the cashier. I also told the that they need to improve their customer service and that I WILL BE BACK!! I have no complaints about my order at all. Food was great!!! They just need to get someone back there that’s actually going to do their job without being so nasty.“

“So glad I noticed it walking by and came back with my husband for dinner. The menu has lots of choices but we were only two so will have to check out different options next time. We each had dinners, he choosing 1/2 baby back ribs, Mac and cheese, cornbread. I had 1/2 slab brisket, Mac and cheese and collard greens. Side portions were generous and the collard greens were fantastic! Mac and cheese was terrific and the meats were just perfect. Service was great and price was just as great. “I’ve worked in the food industry so I understand when things get busy and service is a little slow. This was different. The outdoor bar at Sheffield’s was a mess. My friends and I waited over 30 minutes and I talked with other groups, including a dad and son and a husband and wife, who eventually just gave up and said they were leaving to go somewhere they could actually get served. What really bothered me wasn’t even the slow bartender, it was his girlfriend. She was hanging out at the edge of the bar and snapped at me, “watch your mouth, that’s my boyfriend,” when I made a casual comment about the wait. She even mouthed off to other paying customers who were just as frustrated. Later, that same bartender who had been dragging with everyone else suddenly perked up to pour shots for her and her friend. I even have a photo. Slow service happens and I get that. Letting your girlfriend sit at the bar, confront customers, and then get special treatment is unprofessional.“

The naan was fresh and soft, perfect for scooping up the rich daal fry. The place has a no-frills vibe, but the food speaks for itself. Service was quick, and the staff was friendly. Definitely a solid spot for authentic Pakistani barbecue.“
