“I have had several delicious sandwiches from Delishka but last week I ordered a vanilla raspberries cake for a birthday and chose one from their cake catalog. The cake looked gorgeouse exactly like the picture in the catalog with a personalized note. It tasted delicious not too sweet and very moist.I do recommend their sweets along with their sandwiches.“

“First and foremost, the staff of any restaurant are the ones that truly keep an establishment running and thriving and are the heart and representation of the business.The hostess / order-taker and crew at Stacked and Folded, were super friendly to us and offered such great customer service!The atmosphere inside is very nice and offers an elevated casyal food experience.Even though the average taco is around $6.50, it is very large and offers a lot of the actual ingredients. This was the case with my short rib taco. The short rib taco did offer a little bit of that spicy hot but not too much which was good, and yes, was slightly sweet in the sauce as advertised. Overall, the flavor combination was very good and would rate it a 3.9 out of 5. It was just tender and juicy enough, but could even be a little bit more tender in the meat. I know it is not easy when it comes to short ribs and believe me they did a good job here! It is worth getting!We had also ordered the short rib sandwich, but I recommend to have the short rib in the taco form. It just taste even better with the corn tortillas!The sweet potato fries are a five out of five star! Some of the best I’ve ever had in my life. They are cooked perfection, and have that right texture on the outside and perfect on the inside. Amazing.Now as a cook, my (James’) critique is focused on the shrimp taco. My advice based on the best shrimp tacos I have ever encountered or made are taking thawed raw shrimp, then marinate them of course, and grill them briefly and just right so that they come out juicy and tender and with that amazing flavor profile.That would make your shrimp tacos a five out of five.“
“I was in the area and googled sub sandwiches. This is a small hole in the wall but friendly and good food from what I had. The menu was on what looked like a chalkboard, I did not see a veggie sub on menu, so I asked the nice gentleman if they had veggie subs, he said I can make you one and do you want cheese on it? I said yes, lots of choice of veggies for the sub, lettuce tomato onions pickles jalapenos and more I cannot recall. My sub was delicious! I had it on white bread because I forgot to ask if they had wheat bread and he already started making my sub. It was very good....I did not get a drink but they had all sorts of soda including Diet Rite and RC and a bunch of others. I will go back again when in area“
“After 3pm on Monday through Wednesday I believe it is they have half of bagels. So we went and got bagels! The bagels here are decent and I like the cream cheese and tuna options. They sell Leonard's bakery goodies, mostly important the coffee cake. Yummmmmmm!!“

But I used to eat here regularly when I worked in the area.Alot of other Al's have closed, I'm happy this one hasn't.Chicago has a lot of Italian Beef places, and reviews for this category is very subjective. But I have always liked Al's over Portillos, Mr.Beef, or Buona. But Johnny's on North Ave will always be top shelf for me.But this Al's has a bigger menu and is on the otherside of town, so if you're in the area swing by for a bite, most people aren't driving to Johnny's from Niles if they weren't planning on it from the start.“
“I ordered an open-faced, roast turkey dinner. The stuffing was AMAZING, the mashed potatoes and gravy like home-made, and the turkey was tender and delicious. The best hot turkey (and stuffing) I've had. The Pick-up wait on a Friday night was 45 minutes! There was a guy in a hat meeting pick-up customers almost yelling, 'the foods not up yet. ' We all looked at each other, but good was outstanding.“
“We tried a couple of sandwiches from this spot! It was interesting to see the limited open hours as the reviews rave about their sandwiches. They have a small menu of sandwiches, salads and refreshments which makes it an ideal location for a local lunch spot if you have flexibility with open hours. We tried the Singapore Tikka and the Sesame chili tuna sandwich which didn't take long to receive. The tuna sandwich with the chili oil and banh mi toppings was really good. They asked if we wanted it to be spicy but I didn't taste anything spicy about the sandwich but the flavors were well put together. I wasn't a fan of the tikka sandwich which needs maybe the tikka sauce to bring the ingredients together.“

“Sandwich Club is one of the best kosher Restaurants in Chicago, the Donny is fabulous, the problem is they are extremely cheap about their sauce, they switched up the meat from a couple years back, and now the Donny is more Dry, i used to ask them to make sure that it’s not dry bc it doesn’t taste as good and then they would charge me .50¢ (I don’t care about .50¢ but it’s the principal that bothers me) other than that their firecracker is delicious!“

I especially like using their iPhone app. Easy to order and make customizations to your sandwich. I like to substitute the wheat wrap on my Spicy Southwest Chicken. The Chicken Tortilla soup is also fantastic - just enough heat for me. My wife loves the Savannah Chop salad. If you plan to eat in, study the menu before you go. You’ll have a hard time deciding! In my experience the prices for all there items we’ve ordered are reasonable. Example - the Savannah Chop salad was $8.89. Not bad for a large salad with grilled chicken. “I liked the remodeled look of the subway and I absolutely love the service. As soon as I walk in I get a greeting and a smile from the employee. The food always smells and looks fresh. The bread is super soft as well, other subways have hard or stale bread but not this one. I will be going to this subway in the future and I highly recommend going here for a quick bite to eat.“

“I normally come here late when I don't feel like making dinner or want a good sub and I've never been disappointed. This is the only Jersey Mikes location I go to unless I'm away from home. The staff are FANTASTIC, my sandwiches are always delicious, and every time I've gone the place has been clean. The biggest thing I want to mention is the staff. I've come here looking normal, in pjs and messy hair, and even in a shark onesie. I've come here in a variety of moods, but every single time I leave, I leave with a smile ear to ear because the staff has always been so kind, caring, and absolutely hilarious. This location is doing something right, and unless management changes or something, it will always be my favorite.“

“I have been to Bat 17 numerous times over the years, and I always really enjoy it. They have solid vegetarian options, and the rest of their food is equally good. Their outside seating section is a big hit in the warm weather, but the indoors is just as nice. The servers in my experience have always been kind and helpful which is much appreciated! I feel like it is hard to find a good sandwhich or burger nowadays, but Bat 17 does the basics very well.“
“If there was no order accuracy issues this would have been a 5 star review. The sandwiches have always been delicious however I had to go back as my order was incorrect. I ordered the steak sandwich on white as there is a wheat allergy in our household. Upon returning the sandwiches I was given a refund and my sandwiches was replaced however upon reaching home we saw the we were given chicken instead of steak. I took it on the chin and just ate the sandwich as I did not feel like going back for a 2nd time. Other than that great food and great service. Order accuracy must be addressed however.“

I like to order via the app and there's always a little something off with my sandwich (i.e. I order extra onions and somehow get no onions at all). “I have been coming her for three years. They are outstanding which comes from being family owned with the same group of workers. Yes they get to know you fast and remember what you want. We spend much of the winter in Florida and while those Subways we frequent in Florida are good these guys are the best. Very clean - fresh subway!“
