Wow what a selection. I purchased a chocolate cupcake, two love pucks, cinnamon rolls, poppy lemon bread, baguette, and aNutella sandwich cookie. Everything was really delicious. I mean world class quality. I now plan on making regular visits to Chicago so I can load up and fill my freezer with possibly the best GF baked goods in the U.S. I’ve tried a lot.“

“I am so glad I found this bread. For someone that not only has an issue with wheat and dairy but also oat, barley and rye this was such a joy to find this bread. I was skeptical at first but when I tried the bread it was AMAZING!!! The price is wonderful as well. “Macaron Bar is a delight! Oh my, the treats are spectacular. Try the pistachio, earl grey, dark chocolate, and coffee especially - absolutely delicious. The texture of the macaron is also stunningly perfect- so hard to achieve, yet they nail it. They are little works of art. We met Sam who works there and she was so sweet to me and my son. We will definitely be back!“

“So today I had a friend in from out of town and we topped off our afternoon with a visit to Miski Bakery. I was dying to try the alfajores, and they did not disappoint! The very delicate morsels melted in our mouth, and the creamy luscious dollop of dulce de leche caramel was a perfect pairing. In addition we tried the Milhojas/Napoleons in two flavors the Lucuma pastry creme and also the dulce de leche. A thousand layers is correct, these were amazingly tall, crispy and filled with air, both were delicious but the Lucuma(a Peruvian fruit) pastry creme was the standout. It had such a delightful delicate flavor I had never tasted previously. After speaking with Carmen the owner I asked whether or not they ever carried Turrón de doñja Pepa. She just happened to have some freshly baked sitting on the tray behind the counter, but alas it was still awaiting its filling. This gives me a great reason to return and indulge in that special treat. It is prepared every other week. The service was warm and friendly. This is definitely a hidden gem in the neighborhood you shouldn't miss out on. I will be returning often.“
