(huge win to me) If they were still open I would have gone down to get some coffee immediately. “I’m so glad there is a Summer Moon that I don’t have to travel outside of Illinois for ~ their coffee is probably my MOST favorite. I always order the moon milk lattes. Everything here is smooth, rich, and never bitter. The Moon Milk takes every drink to another level. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, love the interior decor, and overall perfect whether you’re grabbing a quick cup in the drive thru or hanging out for a while. “I visited Toast and Roast which was recommended by my brother. The atmosphere was awesome and very i inviting, not to mention extremely clean! The food was great, especially the pumpkin cheesecake muffins. They were Light, fresh, moist, and very flavorful. I’d recommend this establishment to anyone and I look forward to my next visit.“

“The inside was very clean, tables were kept well and there were plenty of places to sit. Coffee and tea were amazing, we got a green tea and nitro cold brew and they exceeded expectations. We got a ham and cheese sandwich and a spicy avocado bacon sandwich and those also exceeded expectations. Everything was served in a timely manner and the baristas were friendly and welcoming. Will return even though we don't live close, and would recommend. 10/10“

The empanada was still frozen when they served it to me but the server was so kind and gentle and immediately gave me another one that was well cooked and didn’t charge me for the wait and inconvenience. My dumbass friend tried to exxagerate the story she was telling and ended up talking with her friends which led to her spilling her drink. However, luke and Colleen re made her a drink, and an extra cup of cold foam bc that’s why she spilled bc the lid was open due to licking the cold foam. Then Colleen came to action with a mop and cleaned it up. We are all happy and they are our best friends now because they helped out.“

I absolutely LOVE the Lakemoor Starbucks!

I used to avoid Starbucks because I thought it was too pricey — but after receiving a gift card and giving it a try, I was instantly HOOKED. Now, I regularly order ahead using the Starbucks app and pick up, either in-store or through the drive-thru, from this location. Every single visit has been a pleasure. The staff are always friendly, upbeat, and genuinely welcoming — and my order is always ready and accurate. That consistency keeps me coming back.

Here are just a few of the menu items I’ve tried and loved from this location:

The Lakemoor Starbucks has become one of my favorite places to grab a quick breakfast, brunch, lunch, or refreshing drink. The service is always excellent, the food consistently fresh and tasty, and the whole experience is just easy and enjoyable.

“This is by far the best Starbucks in the area bar none . Everyone from the top management to the baristas are kind, friendly, caring and efficient. I’ve never had an attitude from any of them no matter how complicated my beverage order is. They keep the place clean and safe also. Unfortunately, the Starbucks in Algonquin by the movie theater, and also the one on Randall by Kohl’s has some of the rudest employees. In fact, the one by Kohl’s mopped the floors without squeezing out the mop and there were large puddles of soapy water all over, and I almost fell, even though I was walking extremely slowly. Putting a sign down does not excuse them from liability, but they didn’t seem to care at all about me, or anyone for that matter , and when I expressed my concern that someone can fall, they just rolled their eyes up at me. I am grateful that the Starbucks closest to my home on Algonquin Road and Ryan is Friendly professional and efficient unlike the other ones.“

“Today I went to Starbucks where, my daughter, Rachel worked so I could hand out dry floral pendants (flowers from her funeral to her Starbucks family! I know that Starbucks has had it’s fair share of scrutiny lately, but they have been nothing short of amazing through this. They have set a memorial table up in Rachel’s honor. They also called in grief counselors and pulled in shift support from other stores so that people who knew Rachel could take time to grieve individually as well attend her service.“
