Well my search is over finally found a good hot n sour soup, flavors were perfectly balanced, came with hot chili oil which is usually extra at other places. Will be back to get my soup fix. The staff was very friendly and did a great job at explaining the menu option, they were very accommodating to our diet restrictions & ensured we were satisfied with our meals. I had the tofu and has been one of the best ones I have tried even my known vegetarian friends were a fan. If you have a sweet tooth and want to try something trendy the drumsticks ice cream is also very recommended.“

Pretty average could of done with more meat. Flavor was good might try again in the future but hope for more protein. “This place has great food and is a great value. A few years ago, it was about the same value as all the other Chinese restaurants. Then, those other restaurants chose to jack their prices up 50%. However, Northern Taste did not fall into that greedy trap. As a result, it now not only has really tasty food, but it is also a great deal. In addition, when things aren't right, they are very apologetic and do what they can to make things right. I definitely recommend you try this place, especially the lunch specials!“

It’s a shame the five star rating has become so overinflated because, this isn’t a 5 Star place, but I guess it does five stars at doing what it’s supposed to do. This is a very simple, very basic Chinese restaurant that serves really good food. It’s never going to win an award, but you don’t always want those places. Anyway, we had a great meal there, the service was a bit of a hoot. Our meals were delivered at least 10 minutes apart, but the waitstaff was so sweet and so friendly you just couldn’t be upset over it. Plus, it was just me and my wife so we both nibbled at the first meal before hers got there.

Prices are great, the staff are very friendly and efficient. Food made always on time and so tasteful! I been to many chinese restaurants before and this one if by far my top 5. Try to take advantage of their lunch specials also! This place is always a hit, love their rice, egg rolls, sweet and sour chicken AND they have some delicious beef chow fun. In the past yrs started eating better... So clean and fresh tastes are important... At first was a bit iffy per the size of the wings... But then took into account the freshness of their food, taste and quality... We loved the flavor of everything... Crispy, not greasy... Extra soy blended perfectly into the rice... The egg foo young was fluffy and full, best looking sauce I've ever seen... It was smooth thick with a slight cream soup feel... Not jelly like... Not many places offer No Shell S&P Shrimp, love that they have the option with or without... No food coma zombies after, full but didn't feel gross... Delivery was on point... She said 45 minutes... In fact it was 45 minutes, including the 3 minutes it took me to give my order... A sweet older man delivered my order... The taste of the food reminded us of a China Buffet off Pulaski and Wellington.. Family owned, it was our wkly spot for over 20yrs... They watched me age into adulthood and watched my oldest 3 grow.. “This was some of the best Chinese food I’ve had in a while!!! I ordered the crab rangoon, shrimp fried rice, and general tso’s chicken. Everything was fresh! The shrimp were big and clean, and the rice was nice and dark! IYKYK 😂. The crab rangoon were nice sizes. They give a great amount of everything— takeout boxes were overflowing in a good way. Everything was packaged nicely to prevent spills. The service was also great. The cashier was extremely kind and welcoming when I went to pick up my order. I will definitely be back! 🤎“

“A literal hole in the wall, but a hidden gem. I’ve been ordering from here since 2010 and the food has always been delicious. The portions sizes are big enough for two people even if you order a small size. The lady at the window is always kind and happy to help. I definitely recommend ordering from here!“

The owner, cooks and wait staff were all extremely friendly and made each of our visits a wonderful experience. We ordered Chinese and Japanese food and we also sampled some of their new delicious tacos... everything we tried was absolutely fantastic. We live 300 miles away so we ordered a lot of takeout to bring home with us to share with our friends who didn't get to make the trips. “I went a while back with my family, the portions are extremely large, they allow BYOB, and they are extremely good with service. The orange chicken is actually good orange chicken unlike most, and the food is over all really delicious. I also enjoy the Vietnamese iced coffee a lot.“
