“I have lived away from the Chicago area for 26 years. So whenever I am back I must indulge in a great Italian beef sandwich. I was staying near Midway so I decided to give Tony's a try. They did not disappoint. I phone ordered the "big beef" with hot peppers and provolone medium wet to go. They told me about ten minutes. I got there about 30 minutes later expecting to quickly pay pickup and be on my way but had to wait about 5 minutes or so. But I realized this was a good thing as they meticulously assembled the order with the peppers and oil in a separate container which otherwise would have made the sandwich a soggy mess by the time I got back to the hotel. The beef was perfectly moist and seasoned and the sandwich was huge. I only planned to eat one half but could not stop. The staff was super friendly. It is pretty much a take out spot with a small counter eat in area and a small off the street parking area in the back. I highly recommend Tony's for any connoisseurs of the Chicago style Italian beef sandwich.“
“I was absolutely amazed after a friend recommended this place to me. The way he talked about the food I thought it was a little mom and pop shop. The way this place runs is a well oiled and extremely tasty machine!!! I only regret that I don’t live near by - I would eat this very often. (Great prices too and very friendly staff!!) food tastes like a small mom and pop place but you are in and out in 5 mins if you want to go but they have a lot of seating area for you to eat there. I recommend getting the house dressing on the salad if you decide to get the plate (I got the priciest one - beef kababobs and it was only under $13 and I am also eating my leftovers for dinner tonight - you get 2 kababobs rice a couple of potatoes (which are amazing!!) salad and pita bread) enough said please just try this place!!!“
“This place holds a special place in my heart as we had our office moved from the city to Woodridge area 2 years ago, now moved out of the state so here we are. Went here consistently with colleagues for lunch and it has never failed me. The wraps, bowls and special menu items are all fantastic with a variety of options/toppings to choose from and you can’t forget about the crispy seasoned fries w that fry mayo. “Came here for the first time and made the hour long drive from Chicago. I got the chicken shawarma wrap and a beef shawarma in a pita. The chicken shawarma was very good and had lots of flavor. The fires were fresh and crispy. The beef, however, had no flavor at all and was super bland. Was disappointed with the beef. I’d recommend the chicken to anyone.“
“I be doing doordash n uber eats, I've been getting orders from there for a while, today I decided to order me some food got me the steak jibarito that comes with arroz con gandules and some sauce on the side n let me sayyy it was delicious, I even got me the chicken empanada n I used the sauce from the jibarito on it n omgggg sooo good. “The food here is phenomenal! I would give this place ten stars. I got the butter chicken bowl, full of hummus, baba ganoush, veggies, sauces, feta etc! The bowls are a nice portion. I will ALWAYS go to this place I swear. The taste? VERY GOOD! The way they place the portions in the bowl, sets me on an actual journey when I eat. Spoon after spoon after spoon, omg, I have to slow down, damn this food is good. The taste is fresh. The taste is refreshing. The meat is seasoned just right. I have tried the beef which is very good and the burgers are pretty good but I always seem to fall back on the Hot Dogs. “My girlfriend and I visited last week. Immediately, we were both very enlivened by the warm and personable interactions we received. Our food came quickly and our usual extra requests were met with care. When we were finishing our food which we both enjoyed, the owner who had just come out from working the kitchen to relax and asked us how everything was before sitting down. I made a point to approach and say how good the coleslaw was. The owner responded very appreciatively and explained that they try to make it with good intention. Overall, we felt like we were contributing to the livelihood of good people that took a long time to build. “It's my first time coming here, and at first it doesn't look appealing but I gotta say I much rather come here than a McDonald's. Their double cheeseburger special for under 11$ is a pretty good price it definitely beats the big mac from McDonald's. “A very good beef and sausage! Prices have increased $3 to $5 higher in the last two years. I doubt if they ever get lowered. Service is fast but no place to eat inside unless you want to stand at a counter. Outside seating is available but only 4 tables. It is purely takeout place. For a family of 4 your going to spend $45 to 50 for 4 regular beefs and 2 large fries.“
