“I can honestly say Vele is the best fine dining experience I’ve ever had. The service, the food, everything is consistently incredible every single time we go. Yes, it’s on the pricier side, but it is so worth it. I’ve never had a bad meal here, and I’ve never had anything less than amazing service. Every dish I’ve tried has been absolutely divine. The Filet Mignon is my favorite and is 10/10 every single time. I celebrated a friend’s birthday there last night, and it was just another perfect experience. We had Shane as our waiter (again!), and he is always fantastic, attentive, fun, and truly great at what he does. I actually worked with him years ago at another restaurant, and he’s just as wonderful outside of the restaurant as he is there. Vele is lucky to have him, and I feel lucky to have a place like this to keep coming back to.”

But SHE WAS THERE! working her butt off. we told her to put him with us, we played with him until the grandma cane to pick him up. There was no carb information so I asked the waitress if there was any chance I could get that since my son is Type 1 diabetic. Without hesitation, she went back and spoke with the cook and manager. We had the carb information we needed and had 0 issues ordering. Our waitress was an absolute sweetheart. The manager even came and went over the carb information with us. Thank you for helping ease this mommas mind. Something as simple as ordering a meal can be tricky for a child with type 1. And you didn’t snub us or treat us any differntly. Sadly, that does tend to happen a lot when asking that simple of a question. Our food was amazing and so was the service. We will most definitely be back!”

“We saw Jamie’s Route 66 getting off the highway to go to a different bar, and I immediately noticed the packed parking lot and bright lights outside on a Monday. I told my boyfriend, well, if the bar we’re going to sucks, we can always go there.

That’s exactly what we ended up doing and it was the best decision we could’ve made. Jamie was behind the bar and was so friendly, welcoming, and social. We were coming from a long drive, and she recommended the pizza which hit the spot.

Everyone knows her by name, and she knows everyone’s names too. She heard we were from Chicago and immediately introduced us to the people next to us who had Chicago connections. We ended up talking to them all night.

If you want great bar pizza, great conversation, great deals, and great bartenders, then Jamie’s Route 66 is the spot to go !!!”

They stop taking those an hour before close. Called again and the recording gave me the options and I selected to speak to someone to place an order and was placed on hold. After a minute or so, I was told they couldn't take my call and to try again in 5-10 minutes. I decided to just go in and place it. Nope. Door was locked 30 minutes before close. I'm sorry but this is unacceptable. I've worked in the service industry so I am very understanding of the employees' time but if you say you're open until 7 (this was a Saturday), then stay open until 7.”

“I had a host of family come visit from out of town. I ordered 50 piece wings from California Kitchen, it came with fries and 2 cans of pop. I was told 15 minutes for pick up and did not check the food prior to leaving. The chicken was fried very hard and wasn't good. I didn't call until the next morning and spoke to a manager. The manager was pleasant and very understanding. I was able to bring back the chicken from the previous day and recieved a full new 50 piece meal for my visiting family. He even asked if I wanted to keep the order that was messed up. Amazing customer service and the food was really good. I would always order from them, they really know how to treat their customers!! “We live about 2 hrs away away from here, so it was such a treat for us to stop in here because we don't have one in our town. The front line staff were super helpful with suggestions and how to build our combos. We ended up getting Lemon Pepper Classic Wings, Garlic Parm Classic Wings, Mild Chicken Tenders with regular fries and Cajun Fries. Nothing disappointed! The service was quick. The food was fresh. The store was clean. Limited seating but tables were available. We visited during lunch rush so some dine in customers, and some pick up orders both were managed in a timely manner. We were impressed with the customer service and the menu options. Above and beyond! Our total stay from start to finish was 35 min. We will be back in the future for sure! Thanks for such a great first time experience.”
