“Mike and I eat or takeout, almost every weekend, from Al Noor. The Owner/Cook and his family are very nice people. I am addicted to the Lobster Masala, especially when he adds shrimp (Seafood Masala) cooked in the delicious mushroom sauce. Mike doesn't eat seafood so he is hooked on their Chicken Tikka Masala, (it was the 1st thing I tried and feel in love with the dish also). I absolutely love this place, it's a clean, small but intimate spot with a convenient location. I would go to Sally's for hair products, get my nails done, eat at Al Noors and go to Walmart. Not always in that order. I never leave reviews but I had to, finally, share this place with you guys. Oh and don't forget the Garlic Buttered Nan!”

“A friend referred me to Stone and Cloth last year, when I told her I was looking for a new stone for my breakfast table. My mother and I walked into their shop pre-lockdown and were warmly welcomed by Kelly Kirby. She gave me great suggestions for a replacement stone and a list of the Stone Distributors in town to search for my desired slab. Her suggestion for the marble was spot on and that’s the one we selected for our breakfast table. Since I placed my order during the lockdown, installation was delayed until phase 2 would allow for work to commence. During the waiting period, Kelly worked with me regarding having my existing breakfast table stone retrofitted for one of my bathroom counters. They removed the existing sink and under-mounted a new one to freshen up bathroom. At the same time, we realized the remaining piece of the slab for the breakfast table would fit perfectly in a second bathroom and a new sink under-mounted as well. We are very pleased with the excellent fabrication of all of the stone work and the installers had been polite, thorough and efficient. I highly recommend using Stone and Cloth for all of your building needs.”

The atmosphere is chill and I wouldn’t change a thing. I read other reviews that thought it was too casual, I don’t need white table cloths, I’m here for the food.
We both had filet, she got the 8 oz & I got the 10 oz. We both agreed it was some of the best steaks we have ever had. They were really that good! The fries were fresh cut and amazing. All three of the other sides were very good too.
Our server was good too, not over the top or anything. The servers are in t-shirts & jeans (the waitresses in shorts). If this is an issue for you go to Ruth’s or someplace else.
The meal was outstanding. We spent $100/head and we each had a glass of wine plus the table sized sides. It was really a pretty perfect meal. If you’re looking for a really good quality steak dinner don’t pass Doe’s up!”

I ordered the Filet with Berinaise sauce and baked potatoe. It was cooked so perfectly that it was truly a work of art. For dessert I got the chocolate cake. I am not usually a chocolate fan at all but this did not disappoint!! The rich cocoa blended perfectly with the vanilla ice cream. Now for the service... my waiter, Ali, was so good. His knowledge of the menu was very good, but his quiet professionalism was undeniable. He checked all the boxes as to dressings and preparation, but he additionally checked for how and when you wanted everything served. Ali, eyes were constantly scanning to be certain that my meal and needs were being met. Now, I don't know anything about Ali, except that he was young, but he could have been at home in the finest restaurants in Chicago! I used my ice cube and napkin to clean the counter in front of us! We had to remind the hosts as it seemed they forgot us. We were seated and our server was wonderful. We asked for edamame as an appetizer. and we ordered another drink. none of which were under her control. I feel the bar should have its own serving staff as the servers are way too busy with tables. 30 min later I asked about the edamame. She said it still was not ready. I asked how hard can it be to make edamame. 30 seconds in a microwave. she said she gets attitude when she asks why it isn't ready. we still did not have our second cocktail. probably would have had more if they had been more timely! second one I ordered a double gin and tonic. it has no alcohol it in. My friends got a Grey Goose on the rocks and a mojito. all of us commented that the booze was watered down. Our server took the edamame off our bill. This was our 5th time and we have always enjoyed going there for special occasions. after last night we will not be going back food is great but be prepared for poor service...”
