“I came to love Nolita after someone recommended their King Cake at the King Cake Hub right after Covid and I never looked back. By far the tastiest confection I’ve ever had. That brown butter satsuma glaze is to die for. Perfection to say the least. Everything I’ve eaten from the display case has been so delicious.“

I live in Houston and I was coming to New Orleans for the first time to celebrate my 35th Birthday and this cake shop another shop both were close to were we be staying. Well I reached out via email and immediately feel good about Bittersweet and Jenny who I emailed back and forth on my cake design was such an incredible person. The customer service that I received from them was top tier and then my cake not only turned out beautifully but it was moist and tasted delicious. “Excellent baked goods at this friendly and popular corner shop. The pecan croissant was flaky, sweet, and crunchy. The polenta cookie had a lovely grainy texture. I love their attention to detail on their recipes and the staff recommendations they've posted in their case.
They have several tables inside, outside along the street, and in a shaded patio.

“Grow up with randazzo's baked goods. Happened to be in St Bernard parish and could not resist stopping by to get my fix on my way back out of town.

They have a chewy macaroon type cookie both in chocolate and anise flavor which is my all-time favorite. Of course I also had to get some of their cake chocolate iced donuts as well. Nona randazzo's bakery goods are not cheap by any means, but that's true for all private bakeries. Nona randazzo's goods are as good or better than any other bakery in the New Orleans area.“

“Great little shop that specializes in cheesecake, obviously. The name intrigued me as I passed by on my way to a jobsite and I felt compelled to stop by to check it out. I had never seen a bakery that was strictly cheesecake before, and the positive reviews only reinforced my decision to see what it was all about.

It was getting close to closing time when I arrived and there were five or six flavors of the personal size to choose from, ready to go.

I went with a personal sized Chocolate, and Strawberry Swirl which were to be split and shared with a coworker, and cupcake sized Piña Colada.

The cupcake size didn't survive the parking lot because I devoured it immediately. It was fabulous!

The flavors of the other two were also wonderful, with perfect texture and not too dense, and with just the right sweetness. They left nothing to be desired, except MORE!

It was excellent. The two bakers I spoke to were also just as delightful as the cheesecakes.

I hope this little shop stays open as I intend on stopping by again.

Its worth being more expensive than other donuts but not 2xs more I was charged $20 for a dozen when I get a dozen from any where for less than $13 different states and countries. Its the most expensive I've ever encountered. Yes the taste is GREAT but for the price I wont recommend or re visit.“
