“After getting into town late and checking into my hotel(Hampton Inn directly behind the restaurant), I realized how hungry I was. It was relatively late for dinner but I checked out Ditali's menu, saw that they were still open and decided to order the Calzone. I ordered online without any issues. Maaann....was I in for surprise. One of the legit best meals I've had in a long time! The portions are huge and the marinara was excellent! The staff were very friendly and were very helpful when I picked up! I will most certainly be recommending and dining with Ditali's again!“

“Wonderful food, fast service, and good prices for what you receive. A covered outside space with picnic tables but has a sign saying "To go only. No out side sitting available" which leads to confusion. Bright yellow trailer next to a ballpark/park area and ice machine.“

We loved it so much. we asked our nephew, his medical school advisor and his wife to join us. All three lived in NOLA and had never been here. All 5 of us would definitely go back in a heart beat. We were given spoon bread as well, which was the lightest, airiest and creamiest corn muffin ever to cross my lips. The sommelier told us that the secret ingredient was sour cream. I guess the secret is out now! 😉 Our sommelier suggested Pinot Noir. Monty chose Belle Glos Las Alturas. Let’s just say that we started shopping for it online immediately after the first taste. It has a fuller body than a typical Pinot Noir, so smooth and juicy. Such a perfect pairing. 🤌🏼 Monty had the pecan-smoked venison tartare with celery root and mountain rose apple. The flavors and textures were out of this world! We combined a few bites of the tartare with a bit of spoon bread. Omg, I’ll say it again: Out. Of. This. World. 💥 I ordered the gnocchi "black and blue" with black truffles, jumbo lump crab and parmesan. Tender, yet slightly firm, with a delicate, pillowy texture, but the truffle took it to a whole ‘nuther level! They gnocchi’d it out of the park with this one. For dinner we shared duck three ways with Bayou Cora grits, foie gras, confit, chestnut mushrooms and cherry bounce. Y’all, I’ve had foie gras, but never before like this. An intensely flavorful silky texture that literally bursts on your tongue. It was absolutely divine. Dessert was hummingbird cake with creole cheesecake, bruleed banana and pineapple ice cream. I just don’t know what to say except the pastry chef knows exactly what she is doing!! This was definitely meal to remember with the love of my life, my favorite dining companion, and my partner in culinary escapades. I love our journey of flavorful adventures, seasoned with spice and a love that mirrors the diversity of a well-crafted menu. “I really can't say enough good things about this place. I started going here roughly 6 years ago when I started grad school at the University of New orleans. It's my absolute favorite bakery. Everything they have is delicious. I literally have never had anything bad at this bakery. The gelato is incredible. The sweets are great. The Spumoni is incredible. The people are incredibly friendly. I've come in so many times by now that they know me. Absolutely wonderful place. It's usually so don't be surprised if there is a bit of a line, but it's absolutely worth it. If you know the right times to pop in, however, you can walk right up without any wait. Prices are beyond reasonable. I will get a box of stuff and it will be around $20. Great place to take a date if they don't mind a little bit of a crowd from time to time. Highly recommend brocato's. I will continue to be a patron as long as possible. I'm literally leaving the bakery now with the bag full of goodies.“

“It’s dark, it’s cool, and they’ll play 60’s/70’s rock gems as the house music. The food is pretty good too. This is my favorite spot I’ve found after several years living in The Quarter. The vibe is perfect. Its the darkness and the music that really makes me not want to leave. It’s rock’n’roll without being a dive. Oh yeah, did I say the food is pretty good too?“

“We had the tofu satay to start with a peanut ginger sauce. Tofu was nice and crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. Beware the spicy factor for the sauce, it sneaks up on you! Main course was the tofu curry, one of the dishes the chef won best of vegan for. Great blend of flavors, not your typical green curry, but again watch out for the heat, this one was SPICY! Looking forward to trying the jackfruit next time we’re down. Oh and do make a reservation, it’s a small restaurant and they fill up.“
