“I really like the food at PhoBang. The brisket Pho is my favourite and the fried egg rolls are very crispy and great. The egg rolls come four to an order. They did just start adding 3% charge for credit card payment. Several places have started doing this unfortunately.“

“After getting into town late and checking into my hotel(Hampton Inn directly behind the restaurant), I realized how hungry I was. It was relatively late for dinner but I checked out Ditali's menu, saw that they were still open and decided to order the Calzone. I ordered online without any issues. Maaann....was I in for surprise. One of the legit best meals I've had in a long time! The portions are huge and the marinara was excellent! The staff were very friendly and were very helpful when I picked up! I will most certainly be recommending and dining with Ditali's again!“

“By far the best wonton soup in all of New Orleans. Wontons are handmade and bursting with flavor. Broth is flavorful and not too salty. Greens in there are perfectly cooked. That said not everything here is equally good. The roast pork looks better than it tasted -- didn't have much of a bark / crust on it. And the fried rice that came with the lunch special tasted stale. I've been here many times -- their Singapore Mai Fun is great as are all their green vegetable dishes.“

“The service was actually pretty decent once you were able to get a seat. They are normally pretty busy, so be prepared to wait. They take care of you well if you can endure the wait, and the food has been good every time. Be careful on those slick floors though!“

“10/4/24. Cozy little place. Not open like typical Asian restaurants. Hubby ordered #L13 Shrimp Hot Garlic sauce and one Vietnamese coffee. I ordered #N11 Grill over pressed Vermicelli with Nem. Hubby said his dish is alright, just not as good as other places he had before. Mine came out in a humongous serving platter with rice paper to make wraps that is enough for 2. However, they gave me grilled pork instead of grilled nem. Instead of leaving the plate and just grilling me some nem, they took the platter back and said it would be awhile for the grilled nem. Anyway, the platter came out not too long after, and it was delish. I could only eat half and had to take the other haft home. It was raining heavily the whole day so I guess that's why there weren't many people during lunch. Oh, I do not recommend Vietnamese coffee. It tasted too much like powdery/instant coffee with sweetenter milk, unlike typical coffee that is prepared with a coffee fin over a cup of condensed milk and a separate glass of ice. Service could be better as the waiter never checked on us even once if we needed anything. Had to flag him down a few times. Price wise is reasonable for our dishes. We will be back to try other dishes.“

“Headed to New Orleans in July, and Sweet Vegan Soul Food will be my first stop after leaving the airport. This will be my third visit to this restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious! The facility is clean and the staff is so friendly. When traveling I’m always excited to locate a tasty vegan restaurant and this place is my spot when in New Orleans! I can’t rave about it’s food enough…simply delicious!“

“We were blown away on our first visit this morning!! Ryan is a talented mixologist in the bar creating beautiful, delicious and truly unique drinks. Our server Louis was incredibly charming and attentive, giving us excellent menu choices —as it was a hard decision. Every dish was a work of art—both in presentation and flavor. “Bob Boudreau and I were in NOLA for 9 nights. Three of the nights we had reservations at other places with family. Our 1st night we looked up and found Jewel of the South. We loved it so much. we asked our nephew, his medical school advisor and his wife to join us. All three lived in NOLA and had never been here. All 5 of us would definitely go back in a heart beat. “We stopped by for our last evening in New Orleans. They had a long list of mocktails and n/a beers, which were perfect for our family. The food tasted different from other Thai food we have had - some more like Indian food and some more like Chinese food. We got two appetizers (okra & tofu satay) and two entrees (a tofu noodle soup and a jackfruit curry). We also got a small slice of the chai cheesecake - which I didn't know at the time cost $22! There are awards on the wall that show that the chef won 2 New Orleans vegan cooking contests. Service was very nice and attentive. 20% tip is included and there are signs saying that this is to help them pay a living wage. Two appetizers, 2 entrees, one Thai iced tea, one n/a beer, 3 mocktails, and one small slice of cheesecake came to $175 including the tip. You can decide if that's what you're looking for! I'd say our average meal in New Orleans, buying one of just about every vegan option and sharing it at many different restaurants, cost about $80, so this is much more expensive. “Had to visit as I heard this was one of the best places to get donuts and coffee. Came here on our last night after dinner and got the espresso with ice cream and a shake along with a cinnamon roll to share with my honey. The shake was a perfect consistency. Then came here again the day we were leaving out as they have Koloches. Haven’t seen those since we lived in Texas. It was pretty good but that Vietnamese coffee 🤤🤤🤤 it was soo good. I’m craving it now as I write this. Then got some donuts for the road. All very good. Highly recommend this place.“
