“We were blown away on our first visit this morning!! Ryan is a talented mixologist in the bar creating beautiful, delicious and truly unique drinks. Our server Louis was incredibly charming and attentive, giving us excellent menu choices —as it was a hard decision. Every dish was a work of art—both in presentation and flavor. The whole experience was top-notch, and we can’t wait to come back!“

“Definitely one of the most famous bars in all of New Orleans they have the best Irish coffee that the land has to offer.
The bartenders are always great and it's super easy to make friends if you get a seat at the bar.
They have a decent selection of booze and cold beer.
There's a lot of cool stuff to look at on the wall and some badass merch to take home.
Try the food in the back!“

“A warm and friendly place for drinks and food. Great Irish coffee & Cajun eggnog! There’s a cute miniature street trolley that runs around the top of the room, to boot.“

“We paused for a drink after dinner and I am delighted that we chose this establishment. Tristan and Chelsea provided exceptional service. Tristan crafted an outstanding habanero margarita, one of the finest I have ever had. My mother, aunt, and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit. I will certainly return. I recommend you try for yourself! They were extremely welcoming and friendly!! And Man can Tristan make a mean margarita!!“

“Not sure if there's food at all, we sorta drank dinner. Live band was great and very interactive with everyone.
Staff were all friendly and there are a ton of great beers to try, both from the local area as well as some national brands. Definitely worth stopping by!“

“Stopped infor the first time yesterday and couldn't believe what I have been missing! I had the BEST Bloody Mary I've had in years, and the frozen concoction they were serving tasted like heaven. We will definitely be making this a regular stop.“

“My favorite bar in New Orleans! Amazing staff with great service, always friendly and ready for conversation. Queer/trans-friendly. Quirky weird shit playing on the TVs. Usually late night food trucks from local vendors, including awesome yakamein, a New Orleans classic.“

“We loved our stay and we have stayed in NoLa many times this is our favorite spot old charm meets spacious rooms and modern amenities. Room was nice with seating and bathroom was lovely. My only complaint was the hot water took awhile to heat up and the phone in the room was broken other than that a perfect stay. The employees were so friendly and offered great food and activity suggestions. Great location close to everything to walk easy to or Uber out but still quiet. Highly recommend!!!“

“Delicious drinks, amazing ambience, and lovely service. We came to the Four Seasons originally to get out of the sun, but willfeontly consider staying there next time due to the amazing service and immaculate property. As soon as we even turned down the path leading to the entrance, there were several door men greeting us and showed us to the bar. A very kind lady came by and gave us glasses of ice water and a menu nearly in the same second we sat down. We ordered two drinks, the Cocktail Orleans, and a Pink Pony Club. Both were delicious, but the ambience and service will bring us back.“

“One of our new favorite places! Close to home and within walking distance between warehouse district, dt, & cod neighborhoods. Their menu selection is amazing, with wide selection of ciders, beers, & bourbon, & pretty much any cocktail you can think of at also some pretty affordable prices. Turns out the food can be ordered through their neighboring venue, the Sidecar, which looks delicious and we cant wait to try it out...! Many youth and people were dining and having a great time which set the tone for the place :) We met a few of the bartenders, including Lee, who were really welcoming too. My boyfriend had some cognac and I had a coffee cocktail.
Let me know what you think of it!“

“Have been a Chart Room patron for many years. It's pretty much a plain ol' bar with great juke box and veteran bartenders serving typically strong and inexpensive drinks. About half locals, half out-of-town visitors, most of the out-of-towners being frequent NOLA visitors. At one time I suspected that a few of the regular characters were sent over by Central Casting, but have been going there long enough to now know they're genuine. A recent ownership change, but based on my last visit, no discernible (to me) change.“

“We went here on 6-12-25 and had Quinn as our waiter. GREAT service, great food and he made us feel right at home. We went back on 6-13-25 hoping he’d be working and he was. We had two incredible experiences two days in a row. If you’re in the Quarter, go here and ask for Quinn!!!“

“Rachael was fantastic. She was a great conversationalist and made some truly tremendous drinks. Her personality made the experience even better, and you can tell she really knows her craft. Friendly, engaging, and talented. She absolutely elevated our time there. Would definitely come back and hope to be served by her again.“

“I love Café Negril. I only did 4 stars, though, because the drinks are a bit overpriced and the bathroom could have been a bit cleaner, however.... the atmosphere is amazing, the music is great and the tacos are delicious! I will return for sure!“

“Oysters and pita/crab dip were delicious! Service was a little rough. My husband got his oysters before I got my meal- he had that and his drink finished before I received my food. We tried to be patient because they were somewhat busy, but watched our server take off her apron and leave before ever coming back to our table after drop off. We had 2 other waiters and what looked like management walk by several times, and even though I tried to get their attention, never looked our way or stopped. Finally made eye contact with a gal working closer to the front who came over and was very sweet, apologizing as our waitress had just quit. She brought out my food that'd been sitting there for quite a while, so the muffalettas weren't great, coleslaw warm. She never came back or reassigned someone to us, no one checked on us for drink refills, etc. Had to flag her down to place another food and drink order, again because no one else was helping us. After that, zero service, no one stopped at our table to check on us, and nothing 'taken care of' for the mishap. We came at a time where we were able to see the end of one band and start of a new- both fantastic, so that was good. Would recommend based on food and music, maybe not so much service.“

“We were in town to watch the Ohio state football game. We went to Mannings. Obnoxiously loud. Not cooperative. Walked across the street. They went above and beyond to make sure we not only have the game but we have our own TV to watch the game. Thank you very much. Highly recommend.“
“In the words of Courtney, this is a 5 star dive bar. So much fun. We stayed right across the street and were so happy to have this little joint a 30 second walk away. Courtney was awesome. So friendly but never letting a conversation take away from serving her customers. She is certainly on her game. No food (Except Zapps chips i believe) but good quality, well made and reasonably priced drinks. Great Bloody Marys and hubby had his best Sazarac cocktail here. A mix of locals and tourists and everyone made to feel welcome. We will be back even if we don't stay across the street as it's only a block or so off Canal in the CBD.“

“DIVINE! I had such a good time! Had a few cocktails and snacks while chilling out and resting tired feet after touring the AMAZING WWII Museum! I came up at 4:30 and stayed past 8:00 to get pictures of the fabulous sunset from the outdoor terrace. The only thing that took away from an otherwise perfect experience was a bunch of noisy unattended little rug rats running around, screeching like Banshees and disrupting adulat at a place kids should not even be allowed in! It's a wine and cocktail bar, not ChuckieCheeses! Ugh! I do not understand parents who so rudely disrupt a place and time for adult who do not want such obnoxious interrupting! It really is thoughtless and rude! I do wish the wait staff had told them no minors!
I even moved from one end of the terrace to the other to get away from the bratty daycare and they followed me! It was so disrespectful! Next time: these people need to spend a few of the MANY $$$$$ they spent on a babysitter! The certainly splurged on the drinks and food so they could afford it and there were several families and generations. Someone could have babysat or afforded a babysitter! 😡😡😡“
“Pete Scherer was my great uncle. I remember when I was a little girl my great grandma (Pete's sister, Irene) and my nanny (Eileen) used to take me to the bar to see Uncle Pete every Saturday after dancing school. It really is great to see that the place he loved so much is still open. ❤“

“It's the Algiers Point "Cheers"! Just a wonderful place "where everybody knows your name and they're always glad you came!". ( And if you're new here, they will make you feel welcomed and they will " know your name" before you leave!) Amazing drink prices and a fabulous selection of beers on tap! Not to mention, the live music is awesome!!!! 👏“
“I live close by and have passed this place so many times on the way to work but never had the time to stop in until today cos I wanted a fun place to go to celebrate my birthday and I've never been one for the maddening crowd that goes along with the vibe that Bourbon St. has. This place is absolutely a great little gem for those who just want to relax and have a drink. The bartender is a complete sweetheart and so friendly, the drinks are very affordable AND strong and I very much enjoyed celebrating my birthday there! It's kind of like the New Orleans version of Cheers LOL I just hope at some point they will have karaoke on the weekends but I will definitely be frequenting there more often from now on.“
“A welcoming bar with friendly staff. We felt right at home the minute we walked in.“
“Get yourselves uptown, and visit the Maple Leaf, great ambiance and easy going down to earth people. Great bands, lovely outdoor sitting area! "Come on uptown! " I would give it 5 stars!!!“
“One of the best meals I've had in New Orleans (and I live here). Two of us had a couple of cocktails, as well as two appetizers and two mains. The service was terrific. The bread appetizer and the strawberry & beet salad appetizer as well as the duck confit main course were all excellent. The gumbo main course was salty -- even for gumbo -- and the sausage seemed overcooked and rather dry. The cocktails were made very well as well. The prices were actually pretty reasonable for the ambiance and the quality.“

“We went here the night before Halloween for bingo. It was pretty packed since it's a small little place. But I thought it was really cool that the bingo was free and they still gave out prizes. Seemed like everyone knew each other so maybe it's a local bar? Anyway it was very fun. I wish they would have done the bingo closer together since they were every half hour and it only took 5 minutes for someone to get a bingo. It would have been more fun if it could have been faster but I get they want people to stay and drink. We stayed for three games and then gave up.“

“Stayed here from October 10th-14th (2025). Everything was amazing from the staff to the food, and also the Carousel Bar. Be sure to hit the rooftop pool and bar while you are there. Only a block from Bourbon Street and right in the middle of everything. Super easy to find when you are walking the city. The classic rooftop sign is something like 300 feet wide. You can read it from miles away. Has a very 1930s eras feel to it, and the place was immaculate. 10/10“
