“Kicco coffee was a little hard to find but extremely worth it. Ordered some fresh bombolino (italian donuts) you can pick how you want it filled and it’s made fresh to order. We got the coffee cream and salted caramel both topped with chocolate. Safe to say we inhaled both. The coffee cream was so smooth and tasty I should’ve got a cup of it too. We ordered specialty lattes. The vanilla chocolate cream puff with an actual chocolate covered cream puff inside & the cannoli latte. The cannoli latte was topped with chocolate chip cannoli cream and a piece of cannoli shell. Both lattes were incredibly good. The fun part about this place is you can choose your espresso as well! The kicco blend was great inside the cannoli latte tons of flavor yet strong and bold espresso. Staff was super friendly. Would recommend“

“I absolutely LOVE this place. We have so many brunch options in the area, but THIS is the right choice remember I said it. The mini donuts are a dream. I literally dreamt about them 🤣 Brussel sprouts are mouth watering & the apple cinnamon pancakes are out of this world! The breakfast sandwich is on a cheddar biscuit… nuff said! The service was so outstanding I didn’t have to ask for anything! They made me feel like I was family 💜 I will be back for dinner, which is just as great as brunch but for brunch look no further! “Fantastic shop that is quickly becoming a favorite in the area. If you like to experiment with new flavors, the espresso lab has something to surprise you! Espresso and orange juice? Espresso and corn? I'm always impressed with how much I enjoy the drinks. If you really need a caffeine boost, Hong Kong style black tea latte will wake you right up. Grab yourself an egg tart for the road, you deserve it“

“Solid ground cafe has one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever had. My son has frequent inpatient stays at Childrens. This is the perfect quick walk to get a great breakfast and coffee.“

Because my son has celiac disease, options for baked goods is limited, especially when your plane lands at 6:30pm on the big day and gluten free options aren’t known to last long once baked. Unfortunately, living in Southern New Hampshire, delivery via UberEats or GrubHub wasn’t an option But, being a father himself, Ruben kindly offered to deliver them personally after work. This man went above and beyond, first driving home to pick up his kids. You see, his wife needed to get to her job so he brought his kids along for the adventure. In addition, he refused all forms of tipping despite my repeated insistence. He explained that he hopes someone would do the same for his kids if he was in my position and, as the manager, he felt compelled to make it happen. Ruben, you’re an angel, one in a million, an amazing human! I hope you receive back the blessing you bestowed on me and my son 10-fold! Thank you isn’t enough. To those reading this, please leave an extra big tip for Ruben next time you stop in. I sure will be.“

“Really liked the vibes and menu of this cafe! My favorite things were the ube basque cake and their spinach burek, and I would totally come back just for those 2 items alone. I have a pistachio allergy, which makes it usually hard for me to navigate Turkish food but the staff was so nice and reassuring that there would be no contamination. They also have quite a lot of seating and a work/study cafe vibe which makes me excited to come back during the semester! Location is also super convenient right at the Back of the Hill stop on the E line.“

The Sipping Room has quickly become one of my favorite places in the city. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warmth, thoughtful design, and a vibe that somehow balances cozy and chic. Whether you’re catching up with friends or winding down after a long day, it just fits any mood.

The staff deserve a special mention — genuinely kind, attentive without hovering, and clearly passionate about what they do. You can feel that in the drinks, too. Every drink is crafted with care, not just mixed. Their iced lemon wintermelon oolong tea is my favorite. Well balanced with a unique flavor.

It’s also one of those rare spots where you feel completely welcome to linger — good music, comfortable seating, and a pace that encourages conversation. You don’t feel rushed, you feel hosted.

Boston has no shortage of tea shops, but The Sipping Room has heart. It’s the type of place you recommend to visiting friends — and then keep coming back to yourself.
