“The donuts are amazing but this review is for Ruben, the manager at the Rt 1 location. I had to travel for business today and it happens to also be my son’s 15th birthday. Because my son has celiac disease, options for baked goods is limited, especially when your plane lands at 6:30pm on the big day and gluten free options aren’t known to last long once baked. Unfortunately, living in Southern New Hampshire, delivery via UberEats or GrubHub wasn’t an option But, being a father himself, Ruben kindly offered to deliver them personally after work. This man went above and beyond, first driving home to pick up his kids. You see, his wife needed to get to her job so he brought his kids along for the adventure. In addition, he refused all forms of tipping despite my repeated insistence. He explained that he hopes someone would do the same for his kids if he was in my position and, as the manager, he felt compelled to make it happen. Ruben, you’re an angel, one in a million, an amazing human! I hope you receive back the blessing you bestowed on me and my son 10-fold! Thank you isn’t enough. To those reading this, please leave an extra big tip for Ruben next time you stop in. I sure will be.“

“I went back — and although my first time around ordering an ube matcha was very mediocre, i loved ther banana saigonese latte, banana matcha, and bbq chicken banh mi.

the latte was decadent, creamy, and had the right amount of banana flavor. the banana matcha had that deep matcha taste while complementing well with the banana cream. the banh mi came in a large portion, and was flavorful with clean flavors.

i will say, two years ago i got the ube matcha latte, and although it looked pretty, it was relatively bland and I didn’t get much of a matcha or ube flavor. the drink then also wasn’t smooth, with lots of little chunky bits inside. perhaps they fired that barista, or got a better hold of quality control.

Never, have I ever had a bagel that good. It was so amazing. My husband had a turkey sandwich. Which, we LOVED. We are going back before we leave Boston! This place is a Gem!!!“

The best part of the experience was the staff. They were very busy but still friendly and smiling. The man who took my order was very, very kind and made my day.

“Kicco coffee was a little hard to find but extremely worth it. Ordered some fresh bombolino (italian donuts) you can pick how you want it filled and it’s made fresh to order. We got the coffee cream and salted caramel both topped with chocolate. Safe to say we inhaled both. The coffee cream was so smooth and tasty I should’ve got a cup of it too. We ordered specialty lattes. The vanilla chocolate cream puff with an actual chocolate covered cream puff inside & the cannoli latte. The cannoli latte was topped with chocolate chip cannoli cream and a piece of cannoli shell. Both lattes were incredibly good. The fun part about this place is you can choose your espresso as well! The kicco blend was great inside the cannoli latte tons of flavor yet strong and bold espresso. Staff was super friendly. Would recommend“

“I absolutely LOVE this place. We have so many brunch options in the area, but THIS is the right choice remember I said it. The mini donuts are a dream. I literally dreamt about them 🤣 Brussel sprouts are mouth watering & the apple cinnamon pancakes are out of this world! The breakfast sandwich is on a cheddar biscuit… nuff said! The service was so outstanding I didn’t have to ask for anything! They made me feel like I was family 💜 I will be back for dinner, which is just as great as brunch but for brunch look no further! “Solid ground cafe has one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever had. My son has frequent inpatient stays at Childrens. This is the perfect quick walk to get a great breakfast and coffee.“

“Had a wonderful time, especially thanks to the tour guide(s) at 4 pm. The main leader, “Sarah,” definitely made the experience worthwhile. There was a giant group of young kids that weren’t paying much attention (as young kids do-not a complaint) yet we were able to learn and enjoy the amazing museum and experiences nonetheless. They were very accommodating, humorous, and well equipped to handle large groups of people while keeping their attention. We liked the experience and would go back.“

I have a pistachio allergy, which makes it usually hard for me to navigate Turkish food but the staff was so nice and reassuring that there would be no contamination. They also have quite a lot of seating and a work/study cafe vibe which makes me excited to come back during the semester! Location is also super convenient right at the Back of the Hill stop on the E line.“
