“Very cozy place with both indoor and outdoor seatings. Food is excellent. Street is a little noisy.
Vegetarian options: The cauliflower steak is excellent.”
“We took a friend out to dinner at Oleana last night for her birthday and it was one of the best meals we’ve had. We loved being able to share and sample so many dishes, and each one was a masterful balancing of herbs, spices and flavors. The service was also top-notch. We can’t wait to return! It’s no surprise that it’s hard to get a reservation.”
“The best meal- great service- Beautiful atmosphere And warm friendly hostess”

“Our favorite local Italian spot! Pastas and desserts are outstanding.
Dietary restrictions: They handle dietary restrictions very well! I have a tree nut allergy and was easily able to navigate the menu with little limitation. They do not have GF pasta FYI.”
“stevie was an angel of a server and treated us with such love and care!! the food was also unbelievably good (sorry I left my leftovers but I would've given anything to have not forgotten them)”
“Our first time at the Bistro and it didn't disappoint. Full house with a lively vibe, speedy/friendly service, great cocktails, amazing food. We had the French dip panino and the papardelle with ragu and it was a flavor festival like we hadn't had in a while. Definitely going back to try other items on the menu!”

“What a great new spot! I’m always on the hunt for good ramen and this place certainly hits the mark. It’s a small place with a cozy atmosphere and an open kitchen so you can watch the magic happen. The food isn’t cheap but it’s not exorbitant either, and you certainly get your money’s worth. Service was speedy and we didn’t feel at all rushed taking our time over our food.
If you’re looking for a lower key date night or an extra delicious dinner with friends this is the perfect place!”

“Very welcoming. I got there about an hour before closing so I picked my food quickly. I had the Creamy Tum Yum and added a little chili oil to it for some spice. It is a great dish for someone who wants flavor with little to no heat. There was plenty of pork and two shrimp tails. I also had the Thai Tea which from the picture in the menu I was worried was a premade mix. Instead it came out fresh and required me to swirl it around to blend the cream. Perfect flavor and temperature. Not overly sweet like some places make it.
The atmosphere was laid back with some cool art work on the walls. Definitely gave a college town feel. The bathroom could use some work. It wasn't scary. It was clean and well stocked but it is definitely on the back burner when it comes to decorating.
I'm surprised they don't have merchandise. Their logo would be a cool patch on a hat. Seems like most restaurants are doing this now and I'm here for it. Better than buying shot glasses.
Anyways, check the place out for some good hot pots, ramen, etc. when in the area.”
“Delicious desserts and a phenomenal wine selection set in a candle-lit, cozy bar — what more could you ask for!
The friendly staff, excellent records, and purple touches give the bar the coziest, "you're exactly where you're supposed to be" feeling.
The tiramisu with the nerocapitano can't be missed!”
“My Husband Andy and I went to the soft opening tonight in Woburn, ma. Our server Laney was the best. The food was phenomenal.we are already planning our next visit with our family. 10 out of 10 ❤️”

“This was one of the BEST omakase experiences I have ever had. The attention to detail was extraordinary. I ate at several two and three star Michelin restaurants last summer in France and I was happier with my dining experience at Umami. The quality of ingredients is absolutely stellar and it is truly a treat for all the senses. Go!!”
“Food was wonderful — we had a boatload of tapas, no entrees. Service was impeccable — friendly, timely, kindly. My first time sitting in the basement level. They've squeezed people into every nook and cranny down there, which could lend a festive air to the experience but mostly just feels too crowded and noisy. It was early Saturday evening and the party was just getting started. Overall, a great place to go for excellent food and a fun time — don't go for an intimate dinner :)”
“My boyfriend and I stumbled upon Siagon Babylon and it has easily become one of our favorite Boston restaurants. The plates are small and I recommend getting a couple to share (tapas style). We loved that each dish had classic southeast asian flavors, but was so unique. You will not find dishes like this anywhere else in Boston. Excited to come back for more!”
“Chef Erin Miller's food has rightly been singled out as some of the best in the country, with a well-deserved James Beard nomination for Best Chef Northeast. General Manager Abigail Taylor leads a front-of-house team who provide a warm, personalized experience that will turn any occasion into an unforgettable event. We'll be back!”

“I "cried" when my fave VEGAN or VEGETARIAN "GO-to" eat-in place closed all their locations around Boston. That was sadly & formerly GrainMaker .. (gone now) However DiG has grown on me as their deFACTO replacement for all FRESH VEGGIES and otherwise ALL FRESH MEAL VEGAN or VEGETERIAN eats and eat-in place! This is becoming my greatly reccomended "hidden vegan and veggie gem" in Boston with LOTS of locations. They have 3 locations thus far in Boston and 2 in Cambridge. I hav ONLY visited their downtown location thus far! Just as formerly with GrainMaker, DiG is as close to authentic home cooked! & genuinely HEALTHY! AND fresh meals that you can get to. Always fresh veggies, steamed & otherwise. --(they also serve a variety of proteins, as in variety of meats and fish, but i stay vegan. I have NEVER tried any of their meats or fish here.. ONLY their veggies and seasoned TOFU on occasion.. more oft than not, i do not even get their TOFU as a protein and opt to feast on JUST their steamed or boiled or baked veggies, bases. like rice and excellent mixed veggie salads sides!) Have been frequenting it for about 2 years since 2023 now, but held off on reviewing it until i was SURE of my experiences here. Decided to review it today bcs "it's time". I spoke to the very customer service oriented and responsibve supervisor here at this location, his name is DiJuan and was served by Adonis today and he was also very accommodating (after i explained i eat vegan) and on showing me my MANY fresh veggie choices, bases, proteins (including delish prepared Tofu) and PLENTY of heavenly veggie sides, all preped like you'd expect to find in a Thanksgiving grand day family meal. (AND they do this EVERY DAY!! ) This is HEALTHY eats and quite tasty and delish! See my posted pic w this review of my choice of eats today. In short, just today, i started with very little brown rice as my base and added 2 types of their fresh salad, Cannellini Beans w dill & greens along with their steamed or boiled Kale greens and added also a sweet potato that had been steamed & also steamed brocolli. I LUV eating fresh, healthy, TASTY and "homemade style" (as in NOT processed!!). I added their Garlic dressing to top it off. It came to something like 10+ bucks (B4 tax)! Unheard of !! for a BIG & FULLY portioned full veggie plate like this! BIG PORTION of a FULL PLATE! -- i declined, as usual to get any protein with my meal today, is why, STiLL i got a HUGE portioned plate! ( I normally HAVE2 order 2 - 3 separate orders and combine them, at HoneyGrow, anuther fave local "vegan" franchise in Boston, in order to get filled up if i'm only eating OMAD, as in One-meal-a-Day, in order to get full elsewhere usually!). They have a FAMILY (feeds4) option after 3pm every day that feeds 4-5 people (adults not kids) for like $43. QUITE A BARGAIN for something like this. AND it look like a Thankgiving day meal to top it off! --(formerly anuther non-vegan place "had this", now gone, called Boston Market. However they LOADED their side protions and even base meal with SO MUCH SALT, yuck! so that was ALL you could taste. THEY supposedly made home made, but found out NOT SO!!, theirs was loaded with processed sh*t, like their supposedly home-made mashed potatoes were the powder kind, loaded with pseudo milk and SALT, YUCK!!) NOT SO ! with this place.. DiG is 180 degrees fr tht.. This is truly GREAT tasting REAL and "home-prepped" veggies. They are winning me over from my other 2 "go-to's" "vegan-ish" franchises in Boston whcih have steadily been declining for various reasons, those being Bon-Me (their employees, over at Bon-Me for last 2-3 years it seems at ALL locations i have tried, simply do not undertsand nor speak english for the most part, their food WEN i can get it ordered the way i want it, is generally good, oft times its taken over 2 returned plates in order to get it prepared the way i orderd it.. v”
“I had just missed my flight back home and after 5 hours at the airport things began to look rather grim. I then decided to take a walk and by complete luck happened to use this location as a pickup spot for my Uber. What started as me wanting a small snack then turned into a newfound appreciation for Somali cuisine and an eating experience I will have yet to forget. Tawakal Halal gave me the best food and service in about 14 minutes than other establishments have managed to give me in an hour, so great in fact, that I wouldn’t have forgiven myself if I didn’t go a second time before I left. The food by itself is beyond amazing and I could write a whole review entirely on how great the food is, however, my personal favorites were the Goat Biryani and the Halwa as an excellent dessert option after. In addition to the food, the service here was amazing as well. The staff were always making sure I had everything I needed and doing everything they could to make my experience there a pleasant one, even offering me tea as I waited for my Uber. All in all, the best way I could describe this café to anyone wanting to know more about it is that it is truly everything you could ever ask for in a dining experience: fantastic food and amazing service. It even no longer made me upset that I missed my flight that day for if I hadn’t, I would have never been able to find this gem of a café. Thank you, Tawakal Halal, so much for giving me an experience I will never forget and know that when I return to Boston, you can bet the first stop on my itinerary will be your café. (The photos used in this review were taken from Tawakal Halal’s Instagram page with permission from Tawakal Halal)”
“Muqueca Restaurante é simplesmente o melhor dos melhores restaurantes com a melhor culinária de comidas típicas Brasileira que tem aqui 🇺🇸! Tudo de primeira qualidade feito com amor ! Atendimento excelente, preços não vou nem falar, somente vocês indo lá para comer e saberá! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“The food is amazing! I totally forgot the name of the dish but the pork with noodle dish with the fried rangoon was amazing def recommend 🍜. Crispy chicken basil is also good and I recommend it with the sticky rice 🍚. The Hor Mok (salmon, shrimp, etc. curry inside a coconut 🥥) is pretty good too! The mango sticky rice is a go-to dessert 🥭”
“We had such a great experience tonight! First of all I love the evening atmosphere, the light does the job ❤️ Second and most important is THE FOOD! Every single small plate and main were amazing. Mango salad was our favourite. Thank you, we will definitely be back 🤤”

“outstanding!! we missed our flight to South Beach Miami so we decided to spoil ourselves and boy were we spoiled. so so good. everything was outstanding. excellent cocktails too”

“Found this place on Google & Pinterest. So glad we gave it a try. The chicken corn soup was sweet and delicious, we had pork and cabbage dumplings, spring rolls, hot tea, fried rice and kimchi. It was all delicious. I don’t use chop sticks so they brought me a fork. Would highly recommend this place it was busy but we don’t have to wait long for a table and they had a steady line of to go orders going out as well.”
“Not variety of options for vegetarian people, but my non veg friends loved their foods! The fried rice is just average.
Editing after been here tens of times, this is my favorite Thai place around. Their thai tea- oh wow, super. Khao soi and drunken noodles are my favorite. Fried rice is my go-to option for Thai cuisine, and theirs isn't just as good as their other items mentioned above.
They make you wait until the full group has arrived, so prep if you don't want to wait in the cold.”
“My sister-in-law just sent me and my wife a door dash order to cheer us up, with cold brew and two pains au chocolat. I took one bite and… wow. Buttery but light and flaky, cooked just right - understated perfection in a bag! I grew up in France, and this is honestly one of the best French pastries I have had in 28 years living in the US. Even in France it's not every day you find one this good! We’ll be going there for more, can’t wait to try what else they have to offer!”
“Premium buffet cost less than 40$ with a lot of protein Avbl (Beef brisket, tongue etc). The options for food is plenty and it worths the price. Even single person get treated nicely, which is very good. However it is not friendly for vegetarians, due to the lack of clear indication in their food selection area (some of them might seem to be vegetarian while contain animal products) so be careful.”
“Amazing traditional Punjabi food. Feels very authentic and the flavors are amazing. Very accommodative on customization. Vegetarian thali is the combo I’ve ever eaten. Their chats are also amazing. Masala Chai is nice. Kind people who serve food with lots of dedication. My go to place when I want to feel good with homely authentic Indian style food. Great presentation of food and genuinely tasty food.
Dietary restrictions: Very accomodative

“This restaurant is dope. The interior is warm and inviting. It’s modern and chic. Definitely an elevated hipster vibe. A chill spot to hang out after work or nice date night. The food is bomb! For apps, I’ve never had a Chinese-inspired arancini. These crispy delights are addicting with their crack sauce. The sauce is a must have on the arancini. The salad is light and refreshing. The Kokoda is a well made dish. I never had blue fin tuna until I came here. The combo with the fresh fish with the acidity from the lemon juice and smooth finish of coconut sauce - oof, worth a try. There’s also another surprise about the Kokoda - there’s something called sea grapes 🍇 and were bursting of flavor and freshness. A nice addition to the dish. I could go for seconds with the Kokoda because it’s a bit small for me. I wish they made it 2x bigger so it could be more shareable with a date or with company. The Maine Uni was surprisingly delicious 😋. I honestly thought it was too expensive but after having it, it was an amazing amuse bouche (the perfect bite). I couldn’t believe that small bite packed so much flavor and complexity. It was balanced and left me feeling happy. Totally worth it. For mains, the pork belly adobo melts in your mouth. So good! The mushroom raviolis are my favorite out of this menu. The salted duck egg sauce is what makes this dish memorable. I would definitely eat this again. The bitter melon ratatouille is not my favorite because it wasn’t seasoned enough for me. It felt as though it was missing salt. The veggies were perfectly roasted though, but it didn’t quite smack like the other dishes. The ribeye is good, but not my favorite. I might be biased because I’ve had better at other places. For desserts, the pandan sorbet is tasty. I’m not a fan of the pandan taste. It’s definitely an acquired taste, but I enjoyed it because I love avocados and bananas and in ice cream form? No brainer. I wished they had a version without the pandan flavoring. I’m curious as to how it would taste then. The matcha cheesecake is surprisingly well-balanced. Not too matcha where it’s overbearing. The matcha is subtle while the richness of the cheesecake smacks just right and not overly sugary. The late night menu - I only tried the Chicharrón taco 🌮. The combo of crispy pork belly and the acidity from the lime is perf. Nothing else to say. Surprisingly really filling. I probably can’t have more than 2 of these tacos and I’m a pretty big guy. The drinks - I love the names and how they have a play on words. The blood orange and the banana espresso are my favorite. These drinks have enough booze and not too much where it’s offensive. Blood orange is enjoyable to drink and the banana espresso is complex with a chocolate finish. Their nice, clean cocktails. Service was awesome! The servers were friendly and quick. They regularly checked in with my wife and me. I don’t think I even had to do the awkward “please help us” lean at all. They were there when you needed them! Amazing 5 star service! You want a culinary experience. This place won’t disappoint.”
“Once again you and your wonderful staff at Coast Cafe, have outdone yourselves!! Joshua's birthday celebration was an amazing time and partly due to your delicious food. Everyone gave high praise to every dish and went back for seconds and thirds. Thank you so much for being such a Beacon of Light in the Community! We love Coast Cafe!!”
“Dado is the best kept secret in Cambridge. A beautiful café that feels so peaceful, considered and thoughtful in its every detail—the perfect place to sit with a friend, or take some time to just be alone and read a book. The co-owner Namwon has great energy. He was always really kind and welcoming to me and my boyfriend (we are from Australia, but Dado felt like a little slice of home). The food is really tasty (I could never go past their egg-salad sandwich; my partner loves the bibimbap wrap), and Dado, of course, has an amazing selection of teas. More than just feeding the body, all the meals felt like they were nourishing the soul. Just good honest cooking—maybe the rarest of things today. We’re about to leave Harvard this semester, and one of the great things we’ll miss is Dado.”
“We booked the private dining area and had a great experience. Service was great and we were not rushed at all. Food and drinks were good and the overall booking process with Zoey was easy and transparent.”
“Great traditional Irish music, lovely Guinness and Magners in a can ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Curry sauce was so good!”

“I'm not typically a review guy but this place is truly incredible. Chicken, rice, and daikon soup is all some of the best I've had in Boston, the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, and it's a cute little place to eat in or get takeout. Highly recommend the spicy chicken and the chive cakes, and can't wait to go back!”
“Great food but lately El Jefe's is taking a hit on bad reviews due to @GrubHub's poor ordering system with algorithm issues which I have brought to their attention, and seems they still haven't fixed since I placed an order months prior. On 3 separate occasions on the same date and time I received my order incorrect. When I compared the order from my GrubHub account against the receipt received from El Jefe's, it was determined I was missing many items from my burrito bowl. I contacted GrubHub in which they kept refunding me, and I also mentioned the issue. I ordered El Jefe's 2 more times and the same error occurred both times. I could see once they mess up the order due to reading it wrong but not 3x. El Jefe's only puts an order together based on the ordering slips they receive from GrubHub, so if something is off with GrubHub's ordering system that is what the restaurant is receiving and thus creating the order from. As much as these food delivery services are ripping off these restaurants, they got a nerve to make the restaurant take accountability for their mess ups and ordering errors. They're already scamming these vendors out of $$$ and continue to affect these companies in a negative manner. Time for these vendors to go back to the old delivery ways and cut the greedy middle man! These good delivery services are a total rip off with their high fees, whacked discounts that don't add up, and lack of customer service.”
“One of our fav spots when we visited Boston! The eggs Benedict was so full of flavor that I just wanted to lick the sauce. The food came out super fast despite the long lines. The citrus arugula salad was a perfect balance to the Benedict. Yummm I can’t wait to go back and have some more next time I’m in Boston!”
“My absolute favorite spot for oysters! They always have 6 different oysters on the menu and they are all always excellent. A little pricey but worth it for the quality. Half off oysters ($1.63 each) from 5-6pm every day!”

“Staff, atmosphere, live music, food, beer - all great. What's not to like!”
“We love The Helmand...it's not just a meal, it's an adventure. The food is beautifully prepared, the service is attentive and friendly, and the vibe is simultaneously exciting and sophisticated, in a comfortable and casual sort of way. The room has been full the four or five times we've dined there and the guests are always engaged in high-spirited conversations that you might experience in extended family gatherings. It's lovely.”

“......GO !! Update Tue 3/18/25...Im back again after awhile and still just as DEEluscious !!!! Seriously, if you are within 60 miles of Cambridge, you must try it at least once. I know, traffic....a drag. Parking.......a drag. You gotta make a way !!! I wish I lived closer !!! So yummmmm👍👍 Updated from previous review on 2023-07-27”

“Good dining experience. Very friendly and knowledgeable service. My server replaced a dessert I didn't like with no change- which was very nice of her. Did the tasting menu which was nice. Next time I'll prob try the a la carte menu.
Parker House rolls:
Pillowy soft. Slightly sweet with a light dusting of salt on top. Butter was creamy and tasty too. 4/5
Potato pave
Like a giant French fry. Crispy outside nice and soft on inside. Topped with cavier and shallots which added a nice saltiness and savory flavor combo.
kampachi crudo-
Topped with basil, radishes, and cherry pepper drops
Good quality fish, slightly acidic flavor went well with the basil and radish. Cherry peppers added a light spice. Overall lacked flavor though 3.5/5
capitelli- topped with a Gremolata and capers, olive oil and eggplant
Very savory and well cooked. This was tasty 4.5/5
Pork loin with celery figs and peppers
Very tender and flavorful. Nice sauce with savoriness and a sweetest added by the figs 5/5
Dessert was a pear sorbet-
So good! Very. Tasted exactly like a pear. No added sugar no additives. so good! 5/5”
“Ive only gotten take out from Lanner and I keep ordering the chicken topped noodles (really should try their other dishes, but its too good to stop). Their portions are perfect to leave you well fed, though you will not have leftovers (in my opinion Id rather be served the amount that will satisfy me rather than be overserved). The dish has a compounding spice that, by the end, will leave your mouth tingly and numbed in the best way possible. One day Ill try something new, but not today.”
“I worked with Shin on a catering order for my sister’s wedding. The ordering process, delivery and service were excellent! Tea-do’s pricing and flavor options were the most competitive in the area. It was a huge hit with the guests. Highly recommend!”
“beautiful patio expansion "Moona Oasis" to accommodate more guests!”
“Overall ingredients + service + ambiance, I give it 3 stars 🌟🌟🌟 (Hawaii's is a bit better 😆🌺)”
“You know a place is going to be good if it’s recommended by different people in your circle. Great drinks, great service, and great date wrapped prosciutto! Go on off peak hours cause the wait can get crazy”
“Great spot. Came here with a large group and was served a pre-selected meal. Staff was able to accommodate my food allergy safely, even in that challenging situation.”
“Wow. Wow. What a discovery! I ordered delivery and expected something “okay”. I am left speechless. This was arguably the best meal I’ve had in a long time. Quality, quantity, taste - phenomenal...I had the Mediterranean mix which was a great sample of all different tastes. The rice (usually just fill in deliveries) was excellent with that slight bit of saffron coating it. Thank you!”
“Small beer selection, wine and a bar. But they were great, super friendly, and the food was good.”
“Nice space, attentive and friendly team and great food. Highly recommend.”

“Great takeaway sushi place in Cambridge. Varieties of menu to picked from and the quality are as expected. The seating is a bit limited, but I found it not that hard to find a seat.”
“It was a really enjoyable experience. We went there for a late dinner, and the staff was exceptionally kind and welcoming. Located on the first floor of a hotel, the restaurant gives off a vibe reminiscent of checking into a nice hotel. The space was pleasantly quiet and cozy with warm table lighting, which appreciated the most.
I highly recommend trying the grilled octopus—it was my favorite. The delicious aroma of butter, paired with sautéed vegetables and spicy sauce, created a fascinating blend of flavors. I also really enjoyed the spicy crab noodles, which featured minced crab mixed with marinated noodles and Asian spices. As for the focaccia, it was my first time trying it, and while it was a bit salty for my taste, the combination of perfectly cooked mushrooms, butter, and sweet cheese was delightful.”
“Amazing! We loved everything we ate. The orange beef was so interesting and not like anything we've had. The crab rangoons were so fresh! Definitely worth it!”
“We were seated and ordering before the restaurant told us that half the menu was out of stock. The lobster roe pasta and black sesame dessert also didn’t live up to the hype. Overall, had an average experience here, but bumping it up a star because their baby cauliflower was actually a pleasant surprise”
“The food was delicious and the stuff was very nice and very cautious with the virus situation.”
“Ordered food through Uber eats last night & couldn’t of been happier. I was having a craving for hot pretzel sticks so that’s what I searched on Uber. I came across this place & omg it was sooo worth it. I also got a paper explaining who the owners are and more about the place. I can’t wait until I can come with my family when this all ends! So happy I found you guys. Thanks!!”
“This was our first time here , ( we have been to other places like this ) but I have to say this location in Cambridge mass , not only was it super clean , the staff was amazing but to top it off Raul the General Manager was so kind , welcoming and we chatted for a while ! My Husband and I are both managers at restaurants so we have pretty high standards over all and this place was amazing ! We will be back soon! We don’t get many days off together so this truly made our night !
Thank you !!!!!”

“Great local bar with solid drinks and great food.
Among the bars near Harvard Square, Abbey is my first pick for a laid-back drink on a patio. It’s just far enough from the noise, with reasonably priced drinks and, best of all, seriously good food. While the menu doesn’t push creative boundaries, they do the American bar comfort food done right.
Small bites like the Bacon Deviled Eggs and Pulled Pork Egg Rolls were tasty, but the entrée department was where Abbey excelled. Both the Salmon and Cod were outstanding—honestly, some of the best entrées I’ve had at a bar in recent memory. Each had an impeccable texture, almost as if delicately poached. The Salmon, paired with heirloom tomato risotto and a basil pesto vinaigrette, had a pleasant touch of acidity. Meanwhile, the Cod came with a potato scallion pancake, perfectly crisped and soaked in a shallot cream sauce, which added just the right crunch and salty punch to elevate the dish beautifully.
The crowd at The Abbey skews a bit older compared to some of the livelier Harvard Square bars, but it’s worth a visit f you’re after a more laid-back, cozy bar vibe. It’s popular among the locals, so if you’re hoping to snag a patio seat, I’d recommend going during off-peak hours.”
“My husband (who is vegan) and I were in the Boston/Cambridge area for work and selected Base Crave for our first meal out. We met two people from his job and noticed that the place was empty except for us and the staff. That worried me, but after eating, my only thought was “people need to eat here! They don’t know what they’re missing!” The 4 of us ordered vegetarian mo mo (omg - yum!), vegetable samosas, chicken tikka masala (I didn’t try it but was told it was good), Tofu Mushroom stir-fry chilies mild which was okay, probably because we got it mild, Plantain curry (my hubby says fabulous!), plain naan (very good), and the Mushroom Stir-fry Noodles, mild. My husband and I agreed that the best things on the table were the Mo mo and the stir-fry noodles, both had fabulous flavor! We definitely recommend this place and would love to eat there again!”
“Amazing traditional Punjabi food. Feels very authentic and the flavors are amazing. Very accommodative on customization. Vegetarian thali is the combo I’ve ever eaten. Their chats are also amazing. Great presentation of food and genuinely tasty food.

“I don't sit there, but I order all the time. The sushi and sashimi is fresh and the different dishes are exquisite I enjoy their courteous and friendly service.”
“I didn't have the chance to try their food, but I saw a few dishes come out of the kitchen and they looked delicious.
The atmosphere is very pleasant and the attention is wonderful.
Today we had the pleasure of having two delicious papelon with lemon courtesy of the house. Grateful?????”
“Service gets 1 star because you pour your own beer from tap, and you pick up your own food when it’s ready. Because there is no food service you don’t have to tip. Every time I goit’s the manager who give the beer cards and I know the managers and kitchen staff is getting paid at least minimum wages.
Parking: It’s surrounded by apartments and businesses which have their own parking. You can park at alewife’s garage and walk.”
“I recently visited Monteverdi for Drinks on the patio and then more drinks and Dinner, and can I just say I have not experienced Cambridge like this before! From the moment I walked in, I was blown away by the stunning waterfront views - it’s the perfect backdrop for any meal inside or on the patio. The staff was beyond exceptional, making us feel right at home with their warm hospitality and attention to detail. Now, let’s talk food! My friend ordered the Rigatoni Bolognese, and it was hands-down one of the best they've had - perfectly seasoned with a rich blend of beef, veal, and pork, and she said the locally made pasta was just to die for. I ended up just getting the the Warm Marinated Olives since I am a light eater, but they were also a fantastic vegan option that's full of flavor and the perfect snack for someone like me. And the drinks that kicked off the evening, as well as during dinner (we maaay have had a round or 2)?! Let me just say, the VELO Vodka Espresso Martinis were the ideal pairing for everything we got - a smooth and rich cocktail that’s just as classy as it sounds. And it's also a locally made (& women owned) Vodka company! If you’re looking for outstanding food, drinks, service, and ambiance, Monteverdi is a must-visit. I can’t wait to go back!”
“I recently hosted a private party at Gran Gusto in Cambridge to celebrate a very special occasion, and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience. From start to finish, the staff was incredibly kind, accommodating, and attentive to every detail. As a vegan, I was blown away by how thoughtfully they crafted an entirely plant-based buffet menu just for the event. Every single dish was absolutely delicious—flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. In addition to the vegan fare, the team went above and beyond to provide gluten-free options for a couple of celiac guests, making sure everyone could enjoy the celebration without worry. The warm atmosphere, exceptional service, and mouthwatering food made the evening truly unforgettable. I’m so grateful to the Gran Gusto team for helping make my celebration so special. I highly recommend them for any event—or even just a night out. They’re a gem in Cambridge! The only bad thing? Time flew by way too fast—because everything was so magical and beautiful. ✨”
“We went on a Friday night and the restaurant was not crowded - I think because it hasn't yet been discovered as it's off the beaten path, tucked behind the Alewife T station amidst the apartment buildings there. They have a lovely ambience with spacious outdoor seating and a fire pit as well as a spacious indoor dining area that doesn't make you feel crowded next to strangers. The restaurant offers a small menu but with very interesting flavor combinations - especially among their house cocktails - and there was something for everyone (vegetarian or carnivore). We ended up splitting several shareable plates and each one was a winner. And all of the servers were pleasant and attentive. It's now on our list of go-to places.”
“S&S is OPEN for deli takeout during this time from 11am- 7pm. Curbside pickup. Enter only at front door 1334 Cambridge St.”
“great place to pack all my fans love the staff looking to perform here sometime in the near future”
“Wow, if you like the best of the best in Craft beer, you gotta stop by, grabbed the garlic knots too, they were delicious...”
“Wonderful place to dine! Dimitri was very hospitable and gave great recommendations on what to try. Crack corn dip is AMAZING!!”
“Man! I made the huge mistake of going to a different bar, and I'm on my way to the one and only Joe Sent Me of Cambridge.
This bar is like Cheers. Everyone knows your name! Not just the bartenders, but even the regulars.
I stumbled into this bar about 6 months ago and have been coming 2-3 times a week. I usually get their quesadilla, wings, or anything on the sat brunch (can't go wrong on that menu).
I left for about 2 months on vacation and when I returned the Owmer, Sandy shook my hand and asked where I had been! I felt very appreciated and welcomed. Jen & Steph are great bartenders and will remember your drink after two visits or less!
I don't leave bad reviews, but I will definitely not be going back to that other bar.
Tell Joe, Cayes sent you!
Be there soon!
Oh, the fish and chips are great! Had it for the first time a couple days ago. It was so tasty I had to stop and take a picture!”
“Great open space with a patio area and a rooftop area. The craft brews are great and the charcuterie options were spot on.”
“One of the best dinners I've ever had. East Cambridge has gotten a little corporate, but wow, this place is absolutely amazing. Thank you Gepettos and Brian for the amazing experience”
“My friends and I had a great time at the tavern. The service, food, atmosphere and the host the best.”
“The food is incredible as is the service. This is one of our families favorite restaurants in Boston.
Vegetarian options: Lots of lentil, collard and barley crepe dishes . We are not vegetarian but find ourselves ordering the vegetarian options because they are so delicious
Kid-friendliness: We have brought our son since he was 7, and have observed plenty of families here
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp and ample seating/aisles for a wheelchair”
“The food was very unique and delicious! The service was also fantastic! We had someone with a nut allergy in our party and they were so accommodating and made sure the kitchen knew. Highly recommend eating here!”
“Probably like many others, I found myself snacking all the time now that COVID-19 has us home 24/7, so I was in search of some healthy snacks made locally that I could have delivered to my home. So thrilled I thought of Nüssli118. I had previously attended a vegan dinner at her retail location in Cambridge and loved it. I wanted to try everything so I ordered the gluten-free bites (ginger spice and pumpkin spice), her sprouted nut clusters, ginger lemon squares, and her new vanilla spice overnight oats. The gluten-free bites satisfies my cookie cravings without the sugar crash. The nut clusters were awesome, I couldn’t decide if I liked the maple or salted caramel flavors best so I found myself alternating. They were the perfect late night snack. But the winner was the overnight oats- YUM. It was super easy to make- just add a cup of milk (we did unsweetened almond milk) in a jar, toss them in the fridge and voila- you’ve got breakfast with no effort. If you’re looking for healthy snacks while we aren’t able to go to the gym and you want to support a small business, this is the place to order. All of her products are gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan. Even though I’m not a vegan, I love to eat raw foods because they give me energy without the crash or late night cravings. Highly recommend you try everything at first because it’s all unexpected and delicious.”
“My friend had her birthday party there! There were about 40 people there and the bartender was great! My drink, a gin mule, was excellent and I was drinking them all night. They provided great food and the atmosphere all around was really fun. I think this will become a common Friday night place for my friends and I!”
“I wandered into Harvest based solely on their Google rating, with no inclination as to what the menu might hold. I'm so glad I did! The staff was friendly and attentive. My goblet was refilled before the thought crossed my mind that I may need more. Dishes were cleared almost immediately after each course. The food came out beautifully presented and piping hot. I ordered the Humboldt Fog plate, Mushroom & French Onion soup (Who thought to put miso in it?! Yum!) and roasted asparagus. I was very pleased and would certainly recommend folks give Harvest a try!”
“Such a cute place, with an amazing selection of wines. I do recommend the cheese plate and cabbage dish! The staff was also very friendly:)
Vegetarian friendly place!”
“What the menu lacks in variety, it makes up for in quality. We had the kebabs, chips & salsa and the chicken sandwich, and every single one blew away our expectations. Flavors were complex and robust, food perfectly prepared, and the worst part of the meal was when the decent portions were gone.
Service was fantastic. The atmosphere was exactly what we wanted after a 7.5hr car ride in dense New England traffic, and truly, this nerd-bar scratched every itch after a long, stressful day.”
“We came in yesterday with special requests to please make sure our order was vegan. Not only did the staff clearly take this seriously and mark everything clearly, but they were so friendly and the food was delicious. We will be back!”
“Came here when I found out they had another spot - I usually frequent their tried and true Chinatown location. Food here is, dare I say, even better. Probably my favorite spot in the local area.
Beautiful, hip and trendy interior. Service and drinks are great as well! Love it here, will definitely visit again when I’m in the area.”
“You have to visit this Indian restaurant, by far best Indian food I have had in the US. Be careful with asking for spicy food, the chef is tuned to adjust spice level as per Indian pallet.
Great food, polite staff, we had Punjabi Kadi, Bartan bhartha and mango moose.
Definitely recommend.
Vegetarian options: They have rich spread of vegetarian options.”

“We had our wedding at Batifol, with ceremony next door at the bakery. It was literally the most amazing experience. The Batifol team was extremely responsive, organized, and executed everything perfectly. The food was amazing - all of our guests said their Salmon and steak were cooked perfectly! And they allowed dietary changes for guests with all different kinds of restrictions (vegan, gluten free allergies). 100% recommend any day of the week. I also love their brunch and dinner menus. And If you want to have an intimate event, their event coordinators are out of this world!!! Thank you all for making out day so perfect!”
“Small Cava in Harvard Square. It’s been my go to for the past 2 months whenever I drive into work.
My Order: brown rice, mini spinach/arugula mix, spicy chicken, sliced cucumbers with cut up broccoli, feta cheese, and light garlic dressing
Price: depending on what you ask (+tax) comes out to $12-$15. Most food places around the square are “pricey”, but Cava is definitely a HEALTHIER option than most places
One bowl alone gets me through for the rest of the day and for that, I’M THANKFUL!”
“I can praise Henrietta”s table enough! The choices are amazing all healthy and sounds delicious and fresh! Having gluten and dairy allergies it’s hard to find a restaurant that is kind and respectful and understanding is hard but here they will make sure you have a fabulous safe meal. Been here a few times and last night we had Brit who was absolutely a doll helped me get out of my scrod box and try the salmon. I HIGHLY suggest for all. Thank you Brit much appreciate it”

“Brand new café and wine bar with dual personalities. During the day (until 3PM), it operates as a coffee shop offering classic espresso drinks, plus matcha and tea options for non-coffee drinkers. I enjoyed their lavender latte with homemade syrup.
In the evening (reopening at 5PM), it transforms into a wine bar with an unpretentious, neighborhood-friendly atmosphere.
Currently, it's a peaceful spot perfect for enjoying a drink, getting some work done, or finding refuge from the winter cold.
The skylight provides beautiful natural lighting, while high ceilings create an airy, spacious feeling.
Parking: Standard Cambridge city parking around the block. In front, paid metered street parking.”
