We arrived when they first opened and we barely got a table. Try to get there early if you're going on a Sunday. The staff's really nice and the food is so good. The broth is very flavored! “We had a fantastic time here. It’s a Vietnamese fusion restaurant, and every dish we ordered was excellent. The cornbread, snapper, prawn, rice cake, and curry all stood out — rich, layered flavors with great textures. Each dish feels thoughtfully designed, well balanced, and even a little surprising in a good way.

We ordered three desserts and they were all amazing and very unique. Definitely try the seaweed and durian desserts — you won’t regret it.

They also offer some very creative cocktails, though to be honest, we didn’t really enjoy the ones we ordered.“

“Pho VN One in Laurel is hands down one of the best Vietnamese restaurants around. The pho is incredibly flavorful rich broth, tender meat, and perfectly cooked noodles every single time. Their portions are generous, and everything tastes so fresh.
The staff is always welcoming and attentive, and the service is quick even when they’re busy. I also love their spring rolls and iced coffee they’re the perfect combo!
Whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch or sitting down for dinner with family, this place never disappoints. Definitely a hidden gem in Laurel highly recommend!“

“I had a full meal at this Vietnamese restaurant. The spring rolls were about the same as any other pho restaurant but the broth for the wonton noodle soup did not disappoint. I got it with pho tuoi since i like the fatter rice noodles. I finished my entire bowl!“

The noodles were great, especially with the what I presume to be a vinegar garlic dressing, but the chicken could’ve definitely been seasoned better as it was pretty bland and cooked a little more crispy as the outside texture was nonexistent. The summer rolls were great, especially with the peanut sauce. I will definitely be ordering from here again.“

“I’ve been eating at this place since 2023, and it is definitely the definition of “Comfort food”. There are many Pho places in DC, but this one has the best taste! The Pho has always been delicious, with a consistent taste and good amount of meat. The dishes are varied and served fast but without missing a detail. The prices are also very good.“

“Nina and Mike have built an incredibly special place in DC. The pho is delicious, highly recommend the spicy lemongrass pho. I typically go for a 13 full spice, but sometimes I change it up. My husband is a big fan of the banh mi, which comes with sweet potato tempura which is sooo goood! I can go on forever, I've happily ate everything on the menu. The staff are all lovely and friendly — together with the owners they a great big family filling bellies and hearts.“

“I have been going to this place for the past four years and I can say it is by far my favorite pho restaurant! You know a place is good when they only have one type of dish on the menu! The atmosphere is perfect for a quick bite, most people are in and out, it does not claim to be anything fancy - just simple hearty food. Be aware that this is a CASH ONLY establishment, I always come with a $20 bill and that is always enough to cover my meal + tip. I would recommend the eye round steak & brisket pho. Always one of my favorites to cheer me up. There is free parking outside of this establishment. The manager is clear, straight to the point, and will get you your meal quick and efficiently! “The pho here is one of the best in the area but even more, I love that the folks who work here are always so kind, fast and caring. They're excited to great you, fast when you need something, and very attentive while always giving you space. I always bring my neice here and they give her training chopsticks, but we always give them to my mom!“

Everyone at my event was talking about the food for hours afterwards. We got an assortment of banh mi and the cabbage salad. The pork banh mi was INCREDIBLE. Talking about the food: I ordered,

● Fresh shrimp summerroll: it was fresh and done the right way, and the peanut sauce was good.
● Chiken spring roll: was crispy and not greasyat all, I did not like the souce that comeswith it (you need to make a new soice please).
● Dumpling: I had netter, can be much better.
● Pho beef combination: was just perfectly done, the broth was flavorful so as a whole it was just delicious.

Food quality was great and fresh, survise was really good and fast.

Would I come back? Yes I would and Highly recommend it.“

“The summer roll rarely has any noodles inside. This one only had lettuce and one little string of noodle and super tiny sized shrimp. It was disappointing.

Their pho is pretty okay and their prices are not bad for the pho. I would order their pho again. I would not order their pork chop rice or summer rolls. They don’t taste like authentic Vietnamese food.“
