“I recently stopped by Smoothie King, and I have to say it was one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me with genuine smiles and a welcoming attitude. They were super helpful, answering all my questions about the different smoothies and making great recommendations based on what I was looking for.
I ended up going with the Island Impact smoothie, and it was blended to absolute perfection—fresh, flavorful, and refreshing. What made the experience even better was how fast and efficiently everything was handled. Even though there were a few customers ahead of me, my order was ready in no time.

The team really went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied, and it showed. Friendly service, clean store, and delicious drinks Smoothie King truly delivered the best service, and I’ll definitely be coming back for more!”

“After moving from Florida I have been tirelessly searching for a good taco place in Maryland. I was so happy to find Tacos A La Madre! When you go inside it is very under decorated, but clean and they have a good sense of branding with their black and yellow color scheme. The tacos are amazing, flavorful, and consistent every time I go. The ingredients taste fresh. If I had to choose a favorite, it would be the shrimp tacos and the birria tacos! 🌮 This is our new go-to taco place. You have to go- you won’t be disappointed.”

“I love Blaze. The build your own is really quite spectacular with so many options to choose from. I typically go super high on the protein with tons of meats and cheeses. My colleague always goes no dairy and no gluten. The ability to get many things dietary wise is really great. This Blaze was awesome. I’ll be back.”

Not sure if it was dough or the pizza was undercooked, but I wish there was more of a crisp to the crust. I found myself chewing longer than expected.

“Ledos pizza is always great! Been coming here for years. Ledos pizza in College Park, Maryland. We do carry out pizza once a month. Carry out service was good. But the BISCUIT sized paper plates are ridiculous. I can't get one slice pizza on the plate. Paper plates are way too small. Spending money on the pizza, can't even give you full sized paper plates. RIDICULOUS!”

“I’m fairly new to road biking and had just bought a new to me road bike from FB Marketplace. I had sent an email through their contact form which Laurie answered and gave me enough reason to bring my bike to Proteus. I brought my bike in this past Saturday. The first person that greeted me was Paul. He checked over my bike and let me know that my bike was really in great shape and made a few minor adjustments that he didn’t charge me for. He replaced my seat and clipless pedals with flat pedals. Literally everyone in that shop made me feel comfortable and welcome. Laurie, Jeff, Duncan, Andy, Paul, yall are amazing and made me feel at home. I live in DC, but Proteus is my go to bike shop now!”

You order through a touch screen, so you can probably order ahead and have the exact same experience. I recommend the vegan Shwarma. I'm a meat lover, but that dish is delicious.”

“I like their food, but they should make drinks mandatory with orders. Sometimes, for some reason, even if you select a drink, it doesn't appear on the order. And when you ask for it, they don't want to give it to you. And even when they have given it to me, they do it as if it were a courtesy. It's included in the price. If you explicitly say you don't want a drink, that's fine, but it's not always like that. And some employees should be more courteous in these situations.”

“Kabob Joint is hands down the best restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. The food is absolutely amazing, always fresh, and full of flavor. I especially love the chicken kabob roll—it’s perfect every single time. The owner is an incredibly kind and generous person with outstanding hospitality; he even offered me a roll free of cost, which truly meant a lot. The kitchen is spotless, the service is excellent, and everything about this place is just perfect. I honestly love it so much that I could come here every day. Highly recommended!”

“I had a really positive experience on my visit to Five Guys today. Judy was the person who took my order, she was very positive and helpful and welcoming. She recommended a milkshake and it was definitely worth it. And I enjoyed the new Cajun peanuts in the store, they were seasoned well and flavorful. I got the combo meal and definitely got the bag of fries experience. Overall a good value for what I spent, and the staff is really great.”

“I love Vigilante Coffee! Best coffee shop in College Park, really close to UMD's campus which is so convenient. The inside is pretty cute, there's a good amount of seating both inside and outside, but it does get busy so seating is not completely guaranteed. Their coffee is pretty good, I tried one of their lavender vanilla lattes I think it was, it was really good. The baristas are very helpful, and the wait time was really short. Prices aren't too bad either!”

There's plenty of room to sit though which is really nice, and natural lighting from the big windows. I got a raspberry oat milk latte, which was super delicious, I highly recommend it. The staff is pretty nice, but they do rush you out when it's closing time. Overall it's great!!”

I have tried twice to use it but the second time I focused on accurately adding the amount of sugar I wanted but it didn't go through because the barista served my coffee with no sugar and looking at the receipt it didn't have any sugar amount. She begrudgingly added the sugar for me.The coffee is always tasty.”
