“The Greene Turtle is a great spot in College Park to grab drinks and catch a game! Merissa was friendly, made great drinks, and was very informative about the menu, explaining the different food and drink options.

Shout-out to Emma behind the bar, too! Both consistently checked on our party and were attentive throughout our visit, making sure we were well taken care of. They really added to the fun, welcoming atmosphere. Would definitely recommend as a game day spot!”

“I like their food, but they should make drinks mandatory with orders. Sometimes, for some reason, even if you select a drink, it doesn't appear on the order. And when you ask for it, they don't want to give it to you. And even when they have given it to me, they do it as if it were a courtesy. It's included in the price. If you explicitly say you don't want a drink, that's fine, but it's not always like that. And some employees should be more courteous in these situations.”

From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me with genuine smiles and a welcoming attitude. They were super helpful, answering all my questions about the different smoothies and making great recommendations based on what I was looking for.
I ended up going with the Island Impact smoothie, and it was blended to absolute perfection—fresh, flavorful, and refreshing. What made the experience even better was how fast and efficiently everything was handled. Even though there were a few customers ahead of me, my order was ready in no time.

“This is honestly some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever tasted! I’m from Chicago, and I’ve had plenty of great Mexican food, but this place honestly beats a lot of the spots back home. You can really taste the love and passion that goes into the food, and the two wonderful ladies who prepared it were amazing.

The gentleman who greeted us was also incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. You can tell this place truly cares about its customers and the food they serve.

“After moving from Florida I have been tirelessly searching for a good taco place in Maryland. I was so happy to find Tacos A La Madre! When you go inside it is very under decorated, but clean and they have a good sense of branding with their black and yellow color scheme. The tacos are amazing, flavorful, and consistent every time I go. The ingredients taste fresh. If I had to choose a favorite, it would be the shrimp tacos and the birria tacos! 🌮 This is our new go-to taco place. You have to go- you won’t be disappointed.”

Our service was excellent and on our servers recommendation we got the crab pretzel. I would have never thought it was almost as good as the pizza but it was outstanding.
Since Ledo franchised there have been some locations that do it right but College Park still has the rest beat.

“I’m fairly new to road biking and had just bought a new to me road bike from FB Marketplace. I had sent an email through their contact form which Laurie answered and gave me enough reason to bring my bike to Proteus. I brought my bike in this past Saturday. The first person that greeted me was Paul. He checked over my bike and let me know that my bike was really in great shape and made a few minor adjustments that he didn’t charge me for. He replaced my seat and clipless pedals with flat pedals. Literally everyone in that shop made me feel comfortable and welcome. Laurie, Jeff, Duncan, Andy, Paul, yall are amazing and made me feel at home. I live in DC, but Proteus is my go to bike shop now!”

“Cool concept it’s like +6 kitchens in 1. They offer a lot of different promos on social media. From Alana pizza, I ordered the burrata and the bacon pesto pizza. The burrata was really fresh and I enjoyed the pesto pizza. From Di Fara pizza, I ordered the pepperoni, sausage and meatball pizza. Not sure if it was dough or the pizza was undercooked, but I wish there was more of a crisp to the crust. I found myself chewing longer than expected.

Location was really clean and ordering via the app was easy. There’s plenty of street parking around the shopping center. Prices are high for the area. I would definitely be back to try some of the other restaurants.”

“I had a great experience at Popeyes! From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and professional. They greeted me with a smile, took my order quickly, and made sure everything was correct.

The food was fresh, hot, and full of flavor. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The fries were seasoned just right, and the biscuits were warm and delicious. Everything tasted fresh, and the portions were generous.

The restaurant was clean, well-organized, and had a comfortable atmosphere. Even though it was busy, the service was fast, and the employees worked efficiently while still being polite and attentive.

Overall, I am very impressed with the quality of the food and the excellent customer service. I will definitely come back again and would highly recommend this Popeyes to anyone looking for a delicious meal and a great dining experience. Thank you for making my visit so enjoyable!”

“This place surprised me and I almost passed on it because of the lack of reviews (hence why I’m leaving mine). It’s not a restaurant, just a kitchen, you enter, order at a kiosk and wait. I got the lamb chop and bone in chicken platter. The chops were some of the best I’ve had, seasoned perfectly and tender as was the chicken. The naan and chickpeas were soooo good! They serve very generous portions and I came back for more just days later. Friendly staff and kitchen was clean.”

I feel like you could bring friends and family to this restaurant and just have shareable as the plate seem pretty large. I did bring my six month old baby and our stroller which I wouldn’t do again lol it’s pretty tight in there, but it was still enjoyable. They have a lot of fun drinks that atmosphere feels really cool when you go after 4:00 PM. The staff is really nice and I can tell each item you order is being made fresh. It took about 20 minutes to get my food. I will say the restaurant was busy inside and out and like I said it’s pretty small so they were moving as fast as they could and I wasn’t in a rush. At first, I thought this was going to be fast casual, but it’s really like a cocktail bar with really yummy food. Giving you still that restaurant experience. I wasn’t expecting it to be in College Park so happy I found it. Definitely get the fried dumplings. They were out of this world. And technically I ordered the dish that’s called spicy pork broth, but I didn’t get it spicy because I shared it with my six month old who also absolutely loved it.
I also got two drinks. They were delicious cocktails I got one called Berry Bizz (which is a sweet high ball drink), and the one pictured which is technically called citrus something but instead of orange juice, I asked them to fill it up with cranberry juice. Overall, I would say I wouldn’t bring more than one baby lol, I wouldn’t bring a stroller, and I would definitely use this as a fun cocktail night for a date night, with your bestie, or with your family. Also, my bill was high, but if you remove my drinks, you could go there and technically spend $10-$20.”

“Ordered a jumbo-size pizza from a college-town pizzeria, so I wasn't expecting fine dining. 😂 The customer service was impeccable, everyone was very friendly, and the premises were clean, so no complaints there.

Now, the pizza... 🍕😂 This thing was so greasy, I swear it came with a side of oil. The pizza was huge, but there was absolutely no toaster to it. The grease was so heavy that I could still taste the oil the next morning. 😂

I can forgive a little grease on a late-night college-town pizza, but when the oil makes it to breakfast the next morning, that's taking commitment to a whole new level. 😂 Hopefully they ease up on the oil next time!”

“Store layout is great! Would be a really good hangout place if no covid to worry about. Their "cold signature milk tea" is the HK style tea and different than the other bubble tea you had. I have tried twice to use it but the second time I focused on accurately adding the amount of sugar I wanted but it didn't go through because the barista served my coffee with no sugar and looking at the receipt it didn't have any sugar amount. “This restauraunt looks small on the outside. But dont let looks fool you. It has the cutest set up I've ever seen in a Chinese Buffet. You get your own drinks, except hot tea. The buffet is small, not a massive selection where unliked food dries out quickly, but the food stays fresh & goes quickly. Dont let the parking lot fool you either. The front is very tight but theres more in back that even allows for buses. If the outside matched the quaintness of the inside it would be PERFECT. The young lady in the front was so sweet but VERY busy. The servers who helped me were also polite & sweet. If Im in the area again I will def go back, now that Ive found a great Chinese place to eat at.”
