“This is an online ordering (ghost kitchen) operation. You pick up from a restaurant space, but it's not really connected other than the space. You can't go to the restaurant and order from a menu. I didn't order very much (for lunch), but it was a pretty straightforward process and it was ready for me when I arrived. The BBQ Berkshire pork bao was okay. Not impressed, but the Spicy Mongolian beef bao was pretty good. The Ginger Chicken dumplings were good, Green Vegetable dumplings were okay.“

“I always come here for the bao bei buns which are Taiwanese gua bao. It has a nice pork belly filling with pickled vegetables and sweet peanuts. It’s perfect when eaten warm and fresh and would highly recommend you to get it! There is no seating though and they work out of a warehouse by the way.“

“Wonderful experience every time. This was our second time and the experience was amazing each time. Small but cozy place with plenty of delicious options. The service is also quick and friendly, whichs makes everything even better. We started with some steamed dumplings and followed with intestine over rice and fried egg, Sichuan beef noodles soup, and flounder with sour pickled cabbage noodle soup. Everything was absolutely delicious. To finish, we tried the black rice coconut milk dessert. “The lunch specials are great! Had the twice cooked pork, the spicy ribs, and the cold spicy chicken dish ( I forgot the take pictures of all of them, which is usually a good sign). Not busy on a Friday and free parking in the building (for under 2 hours). I want to go back and try the fish dishes. Great service and very attentive waiters.“

“The food is great! My friends and I ordered the all the soup dumplings, the panfried pork dumplings, the buffalo wing with hot sauce, and a few soup noodle dishes. Everything came out hot, fresh, and tasty! The chicken wings were crispy, hot, and really well seasoned. Don't forget to coat the wings in the chili oil at the bottom of the bowl! My other favorite dish was the flounder with pickled cabbage noodle soup. It was so hearty and delicious. I do think the soup could have been more sour and there could've been more cabbage and fish. As for ambiance, the inside of the restaurant is very interesting. It's very open and has a cafeteria or mall seating area feel. The service is good! Wait staff are friendly and efficient. I would definitely go back or order food from Yu Noodles for take out!“

The music was fun with a good selection of popular tunes, and the room was the perfect size for a small group - well equipped for both dining and partying. “Vegan reviewer here! It was my first time to Yuan Fu Vegetarian and based on the reviews I was really excited to try them out. I went on a Friday night around 8 PM. From the outside it's nothing spectacular which is a great sign of authenticity. Right when you enter there's booths and tables with the counter at the back. They were about 1/4 occupied. I decided to seat myself in a booth and was greeted right away and handed a menu and was asked what I wanted to drink. I ended up deciding on the pecking duck which was the most recommended menu item and the vegetable chow foon since that dish is one of my favorites to order at any Asian restaurant. The both dishes came out about 10 minutes later. I had never had real pecking duck but wow this was delicious. The plum sauce really complimented the dish. Definitely order this dish. The chow foon was alright. Rice noodles really soak up any sauce you put on it so I was disappointed when there wasn't much flavor. The noodles were also pretty soft and I like them to have a bit of a bite. I asked for chili oil and soy sauce to jazz it up and it did the trick. I have a big appetite but had to ask for boxes. The service and food were great overall and I definitely plan on coming back and trying other dishes. One thing I will say is I asked for an itemized receipt and they had to handwrite it since they don't have a digital system. Both dishes came out to just under $35. Can't wait to come back!“

“If you're looking for some delicious vegetarian, South Indian food, look no further! Woodlands is an expansive restaurant, and is decorated in a tasteful fashion. Service is wonderful and polite, and the food arrives pretty quickly. So far, I've had the Avial and corn Palak curries and they were so hearty and warm. The portions are great, I always have plenty for leftovers! Give their vegetable soup a try, as well. The broth was fantastic!“

Great location, next to the block, right by Rockville town center area.Their dishes spices are not the spiciest but the SiChuan flavor is authentic. “Chili Wok is so good that I came here twice in a row. For Day 1, I came with my boyfriend, and got the crispy golden mountain beef and sweet and sour chicken, both of which were so flavorful, and close to authentic Chinese food. Portions were great for being under $15. The server was really nice and offered to move our table, so that we wouldn't be close by the door on a cold day. The crispy beef is so much better here, and I used to think that my general chinese takeout place was the best. I came back here the next day, and got the ganghood chicken and chow mein. The chow mein was cut really nicely, and succulent supported by the sauce. However, if you want to get the ganghood chicken, I would recommend getting it by yourself as, when you bite into the chicken, it will have a palate-cleansing effect that makes you feel like you are going to another dimension, and may affect how you taste other foods. The ganghood chicken is nicely crisp, and I love how the flounder roll doesn't have a super fishy smell or taste, which made it feel like ordering a regular chicken spring roll.I definitely hope to come back here again.“

You will miss this gem if you don't look carefully...you go in through the back...when we walked eyes were on us because it was all Asian customers and they thought we were door dash ! We told them we would like to be seated, they said sit anywhere. We saw some amazing meals coming out the kitchen that I asked the server what somebody else had and that's what I ordered without disappointment!!! Deliciousness is all I can describe it as!!! “Decided to get delivery yesterday from a new sushi place and ended up finding my new favorite place!! I got the spicy roll combo that comes with 3 rolls and you choose between miso soup or salad. Also got the seaweed salad for an appetizer. The 3 rolls were generously filled with the filling and the miso soup came still warm, I didn't even have to heat it up! Everything was a reasonable price and I will definitely be ordering from here again!“

“Coming from the West Coast, I didn't know there was a difference in how people do Chinese takeout/carry out. I usually wouldn't order wings and fries at a Chinese place but now I will be every time I can! The mambo sauce is a game changer! The wings and fries are crispy and delicious. We also got Lo Mein and you can't go wrong with that. They gave generous portions and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back!“

There is also parking lot across from Ming's with a walkway. Ambiance This restaurant is not dine in. There is only a small table for two and two separate chairs likely to be used when waiting. I got there early and ate at the table. They had Chinese music playing in the background. Menu -Weekday (11am-3pm) lunch specials include: mini spring roll, choice of egg drop or hot & sour soup, and 1 of 12 entrees. -They sell milk & fruit tea and toppings. Food -I ordered the lunch special sesame chicken and selected the egg drop soup. I also ordered a medium taro milk tea with boba. I appreciated that the food came out piping hot. It was actually so hot that I had to blow on the food, was sweating, and had to take my sweater off. It was my first time (to my recollection) having egg drop soup and I loved it. Spring roll was crispy. The sesame chicken and rice were moist. The sauce for the chicken was different, but still good. Taro tea was good and the boba had the perfect chewiness. The portion for lunch was generous especially for the price. Can't beat it. I only managed to finish half my chicken entree after eating my soup and spring roll. Service Good and friendly service. The owner's wife runs the counter and takes orders by phone and in-person. She brought my food out and when she noticed I didn't have the crispy noodle with my soup, she went to get it. I appreciated her attention to details. Helpful Info -Delivery within 2 miles with $20 minimum. -Closed on Tuesdays. “This restaurant introduced hot pot earlier this year. Current lunch special is AYCE hot pot and skewers for $35. The meats are quality and you have over 5 skewers to choose from. Some speciality items include snow crab legs, scallops and hot chili wontons. These items are usually add ons at other restaurants and sometimes cost a lot more. My friends got the Tom Yum and I got the pork broths. Broths were rich in flavor and we ordered multiple rounds of the skewers.I love the high ceilings and how the dining tables are set up. You get a grilling station in the middle that is constantly moving. Each diner gets their own hot pot and the seats were really comfy. The sauce stations are covered and there are plenty of instructions on how to make your favorite sauces. Save room for the vanilla ice cream as well. Service here was on point. I feel like we had +3 servers at all times. You order on your phone and food comes out really quickly. You can't go any where in the area to get quality meats and hot pot at value. Fun place to try different types of seafood, meats and vegetables.“

“Solid Chinese takeout and carry out food in the downtown Silver Spring area! Did takeout from this restaurant the other for a late lunch and glad I did. The food was prepared fresh and delicious. I ordered a General Tso's Lunch Special and a Sweet n' Sour Soup. All were prepared perfect and tasted excellent. Food was ordered and ready right on time; roughly 10 minutes from the time I walked in and placed the order. Not sure with what the food would look like as this was my first time coming here, I was in for a pleasant surprise. The General Tso's Chicken was still piping hot even after driving back home for about 15 minutes. And, most of all not soggy or mushy!.... something I can't stand when ordering takeout!! The plate and servings were hefty and quite generous. The chicken was a mixed between white and dark meat. It was seasoned just right and so crispy, even after sitting in the container for my drive back home. The General Tso sauce was very tasty as well. My only gripe is that the dish comes with fried rice and I am not sure with what's up with most of the carryouts around the DMV, but a lot of them served this yellow - orangish fried rice that is not the most appealing to me, but I must honestly admit....it was dang good. Lol. I prefer a more wok-charred, brown fried rice over the neon fried rice served here and other places around the DMV. The Hot n' Sour soup gets a thumbs-up and good marks from my end. It was tangy, spicy, and sweet all roll into one. A delicious bowl of tofu, mushrooms, tamarind, and spices that aim to please. In all, Mandarin Restaurant is a solid option when in the Downtown Silver Spring Area and you are looking for something good to eat. The owner was very pleasant and he greeted me as soon as I walked in the door. His wife was very friendly as well and made sure I had all the proper fixings I needed to complete my dish; including my request for extra soy sauce and hot chili oil which complimented and elevated both dishes very well. If it wasn't for the neon orange looking fried rice, I probably would've given this place five stars as a first impression. Also, they could've served more broccoli in the dish than the two pieces that I received Lol -- see pic as receipts. The restaurant itself has limited seating but it appeared to be a popular takeout service with most that came in and patroned the place. Here are my thoughts on the dishes. The good: soup dumpling, sliced roast beef + tendon, braised soy sauce duck, 生煎包 fried buns, soy bean milk + fried bread stick, and Shumai. These dishes were really good. I don't think you can go wrong with any of them! The meh: Hainan Chicken with rice, noodle scallion, and Pork + bean curd. If you don't like heavy soy sauce then these dishes might be not be for you. Furthermore, the amount of oil in these three dishes were a tad bit overwhelming. The restaurant itself is a bit small so it wasn't exactly the most comfortable. However, the service was good and most of the dishes were great.“
