“So after having our reception lunch, we decided to come back for a one month anniversary and the food again was delicious. The bra short rib was slightly salty our waiter. He was very nice. It was at times we did not see him. He wasn't as attentive as our first waitress was But overall we enjoyed ourselves and we will be back again. “

“I got the grilled pork chop which was very good. I wasn't crazy about the cabbage dish which was the side. I grew up having mashed potatoes as part of the meal with pork chops. I should have asked to switch the side dish to mashed or whipped potatoes, but I didn't think about it. The fault lies with me. Lesson learned for next time. Although I didn't get it, I was happy to hear Seasons 52 had a non-alcoholic wine. My waiter was very good and attentive.“

“We had a family Father's Day and two birthday get together. It was a lot of fun bowling and the food was wonderful. From the small plates while bowling to a late lunch downstairs. Thanks to Jeremy for the Great food. And Jose is a great server, He was very helpful with the menu food came out fast and hot.It was our first time and we were very pleased. “The food at Ceibo is creative and delicious. We enjoyed eveything, sharing the hamachi, eggplant, dumplings and sea bass. The dumplings are unusual, served in a delicious broth. The emulsion served with the sea bass was amazing. The wine list is reasonable and includes great choices by the glass. The service is friendly and attentive, but not overbearing. The dining room is attractive, but because of the tile floor, once full it is a little loud, but not to the extent that you'll have difficulty hearing your dinner companion across the table. Dinner at Ceibo is a lovely way to spend an evening.“

“Our son lives in the area and we have been here 4-5 since January ( every time we visit) The owners are wonderful and the staff very attentive The fish taco appetizer is wonderful ( can be enough for an entree if not wanted a big meal) I’ve had many of the entrees and never a bad meal . “I dropped in during Happy Hour by chance for a bite to eat and was pleasantly surprised to learn that Happy Hour Specials applied to table dining at full sized portions. It was great opportunity to try a pizza and a queso appetizer affordably.

They both were very tasty. The portion size of the queso was smaller than expected but so rich and flavorful that it was satisfying and good to share.

The atmosphere was family friendly despite many people meeting for drinks. My 11yo and I were comfortable and enjoyed our early dinner. I’ll return to try other menu items.“

“From the time we entered the establishment we were greeted by one of the Regional Managers which is rare at some establishments. He went out of his way to seat us and would naturally just come over and check in with myself and my sisters. We were there celebrating my 40th birthday. I will definitely eat here again whenever I travel to DC again.“

“5 stars isn't enough!! From the moment we walked in until the end of our night we were satisfied. The decorations, food, and service was amazing! They even offered me a quiet place to pray :). Give this place a try-trust me (portions may seem small, but it was very filling- we ordered the bowl of fries, which came with a delicious sauce, CROQUETTES, fish burger, beef burger, and gnocchi pomodoro. “The service was attentive and friendly. With the preselected menu being two servings of steak frites, they'd asked me what temperature I wanted. I figured they'd be masters of medium rare given the restaurant's name, but unfortunately I wasn't served a medium rare steak. The first course they served was rare, with a good part of the center uncooked. The sauce was good, but the doneness made it much too chewy. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited for my second course, and again, was not served a medium rare steak. This time, though, on the opposite end of the spectrum— the steak was served medium well, without much pink. I'm mildly confused by two things: how there's this much variance in steak doneness, and why a restaurant named Medium Rare seemingly hasn't figured out how to make a medium rare steak. I'd give it a 6/10 overall— I wish the food was treated better.“

“Genuinely blown away. Don't get me wrong I love all food, but I wouldn't say I'm easily impressed since most restaurants are just decent but this was truly great food and the service was phenomenal. You can really tell a lot of time and thought is put into each dish. We will be back!!!“

“Update: Unfortunately, Kinship still has a no corkage policy. This is pretty rare throughout DC and truly the only thing keeping us from visiting frequently.

We’ve loved Kinship every time we have visited in the past. However, their switch during COVID to not allow corkage and retention of that policy post-COVID has kept us from returning. Hopefully they revisit this policy soon. If so, we will be back attending frequently.“

“We got pizza and wine here and this place is so close to a 5. They just need a fly trap in the patio, please!! The vines cover everything, cute lights, great vibes.. but I guess the flies thought so too. We got the sopressata pizza and it was really good, especially the crust. Please get a fly trap and we will come back.“

“Absolutely AMAZING! We had the truffle burger, so so great! We upgraded to parm truffle fries and they were so great. We also got the kids pizza- with a picky eater he ate every bite. The fruit was delicious- even in off season. The waiter was very helpful- and attentive. Def worth it with kids.

Kid-friendliness: Loud environment- so the kids felt comfortable. Kids menu was affordable, lots of food and both our kids ate everything!“

“We had an amazing and beautiful experience at the Firefly restaurant Friday.

We came in earlier around 6:30 it was our anniversary and the service from our host and waiter was exceptional. They seated us at a nice table and immediately served us with cold water and good service was fast and top quality. The waiter was really nice to us and the food especially was delicious.

We ordered the filet mignon with Brussels sprouts and truffle fries and the firefly burger with truffle fries. By far one of the best meals of my life, the steak was tender and cooked perfectly to our desires. The firefly burger patty was tasteful and extremely well balanced.
We particularly loved the truffle Parmesan fries, they were fresh and crunchy, Parmesan flavor at the forefront with a light truffle taste left in your mouth. Delicious and one of the highlights of the meal.
We ordered dessert which was crème brûlée, side note I’m from France, but the crème brûlée was one of the best I’ve ever had crunchy not burnt and the cream light, the restaurant even offered it as a gift for our anniversary.

Overall our experience was perfect and we had nothing bad to remark, thank you to the staff for making our night perfect.

“The food appears... lesser quantity than in DC. The biscuits were smaller, and harder. I saw no bacon. The sausage (pork or chicken) was not "week done" as with the DC restaurant. “The food was a surprise.hadn't eaten there in quite a while because the food wasn't special. At her request took a good friend there for her birthday. Hot cornmeal tolls and warm slices of baguette arrived first. No extra charge! Yeah! I had the chef's pasta special which was house made tortellini stuffed with crab and a sauce with more crab. The portion was perfect. Are every lick. My friend's food issues were nicely accommodated by our great server. She had a soft shell crab. Noise wasn't an issue because it wasn't too full. The butterscotch pudding was crazy good. I will be returning!“
