“We travel to Holland every year or so and always visit Hops for dinner while there. We enjoy the atmosphere and staff are always attentive and fun. Wagyu steak has been our favorite meal for the past few years as it was always fork tender, moist and flavorful. We were disappointed that while still flavorful it was very tough and dry. I’m not sure if it was the way it was prepared or just a poor cut of steak. Our salads and asparagus were top notch as usual. Our next trip we will still visit Hops but we won’t be ordering the Wagyu steak.”

“We had a great visit to the Holland Olive Garden last night. We were able to add our name to the waitlist on the app on our way there which was so easy! The wait was reasonable even tho it was friday night and we had a glass of wine at the bar while we waited.

Sarah was a wonderful server! We enjoyed calamari for an app which was delicious. I also can’t recommend the Chicken Gnocchi soup enough. It was so good!!! We had plenty of pasta leftover to take home. YUM”

“I highly recommend for healthy eating options (as this may be the only true healthy food nearby)- however I feel there's a ton of flies which could cross contaminate (if you know where flies have been). It's probably driving customers away as the food is openly displayed without being covered. I highly recommend killing the flies and having fly traps as well as fans to get them away from the food. I will be back for more food, but I've gotten sick from flies before so I really hope something is done with them. That's all, everything else is great!”

Applebee’s might be where you go for half-off apps, but April’s the reason you leave feeling like a 5-star guest. Someone give this woman a raise… or at least her own section on the menu.”

“Whenever I travel, I love to go to a local coffee shop, have a coffee, and buy a mug (with the shop’s name or logo on it) as a souvenir. A couple weeks ago, my husband and I had the privilege of camping overnight at the Holland State Park Beach Campground before our final leg back to Illinois. On our way out of town, we made a special stop at KIN coffee so I could purchase a latte and buy a mug. The barista was just the sweetest person and I ordered an iced Lavender Bee latte from her. It was excellent! Unfortunately, the shop seemed to be out of mugs to buy. Oh well! However, Lynn (owner?) overheard our conversation, and let’s just say, she went to great lengths to find a mug for me, which was so appreciated. The coffee shop is adorable and so inviting inside and out (there’s the cutest patio), and if I lived in Holland, I would be there all the time. The place was very busy, but the workers were so wonderful, and they really do make you feel like kin! And the coffee was wonderful! Now I am drinking from my mug at home, where the coffee isn’t as good, thinking about my next trip to KIN!”

The restaurant was kind enough to let us (about 30 people) get drinks and food for our kids, even though they were closing in 30 minutes! Everything came out quickly and the employees were very kind, polite and patient with us (even with all the separate checks we had). Drinks were good and the food was delicious! Don't dilly dally on your way to pick it up. I only found out it was dog friendly after the fact. I left my dog in my car and was stressed about leaving her. There is a dog friendly beach right across the street. I suggest they put a sign up on the restaurant about the dogs... if if is intact dog friendly? That is my one and only critique.”

“We go every other Sunday evening but that ends now! this location is disgusting, it's dirty and on super bowl Sunday the floors where so slick my abled body almost became disabled from a fall and not one employee seemed to care or even bother to get a slippery floor sign. This is a direct failure in management as they are not concerned about the conditions of the restaurant. Our family of 7 will not be returning and warning everyone to stay away until new management is brought in and a very very deep cleaning is done!!!”

The sponge was light, perfect amount of filling, and the fresh fruit was so good. The whipped cream frosting was light with chocolate drizzle. It was perfect! They said they just reopened 5 weeks ago after being covid shut down. the old place was 2-3 times bigger. only seated about 40 w the bar but no problem. That way they're always busy & doing well. I had the bourbonator, wife had the Crown & Anchor burger. both came w fries and pickle spear. The burgers were perfect, the toppings were phenomenal! We're very picky these days paying today's prices and they sure delivered! Our server was awesome! I asked for her recommendations and they were spot on. After we did some tulip things we walked downtown looking for a place to eat and ended up back here. They got slammed and they only had 3 people working the floor, I believe. Everyone was doing their best under the circumstances. We had the deluxe taco and the specialty pizza and it was amazing.”

“I used to buy another brand of Chocolate Almond Ice Cream. A couple of years ago the brand I used to buy was out of stock in the Walmart freezers. So I got your Double Chocolate Almond. OMG! The flavor was the best I have ever had. Now I do not look in the freezer for that other brand. Every time I eat a little of this Ice cream I said to myself I have to send a review to Hudsonville Creamery. So I finally did. I am not sure if it is only the ice cream or the Dark Chocolate covered Almond Pieces or both. In my opinion you have made the best ice cream ever. 2 thumbs up!”

Never had a problem with the food or the workers at all, sure you might have to wait a minute if there is only one worker there but give them a break.Only negative id say was a new worker from this week that took 15 mins to make my sub but not his fault at all. One of the many quality James&Johnathan's for sure for sure. If youre looking for lunch while exploring Holland, this makes for the quickest and maybe cheapest option. Its super convenient for people that are walking around!

Vegetarian options: As simple as it is, their veggie sandwich is honestly one of my favorites for a fast food veggie option! CONSISTENTLY a knock down drag out kick as sando ?

Parking: Good luck. There's tons of parking around, but it is a walk. If you have some good luck or so something might be available close to here.

“My girlfriend and I recently dined at Mr. You Chinese Food, and we had an amazing experience. She ordered the Orange Chicken, while I went for the Szechuan Shrimp, and both dishes were fantastic. The Orange Chicken was spot on — a perfect balance of sweet and tangy, and the pork fried rice that came with it was absolutely wonderful.

As for the Szechuan Shrimp, it was delicious, though a bit on the salty side. Still, the flavor was tremendous, and the ratio of shrimp, rice, and vegetables was just right. I opted for the shrimp fried rice with mine, and it complemented the dish perfectly.

One thing to note: there’s not much in the way of staff interaction beyond placing your order, and I feel like the restaurant could benefit from its own standalone building instead of being attached to a gas station. It creates a bit of an odd vibe. That said, the food more than makes up for it, and we’ll definitely be back!”

“My son and I wanted to get on here and make sure we recognized one of your employees, Summer. What a wonderful human being. From the moment we pulled up to the speaker at the drive through she was SOO kind. Then we pull up to the window and her awesome smile, kind heart and vibrant personality MADE our day. I had the worst day and she honestly made it better. It wasn't the food but the service, that made our experience. We pulled away and even my 11year old son commented on how kind she is. ( You don't see if very often) Excellent customer service barely exists these days. Most of these younger kids can't even say hello! She truly is so wonderful and your company is beyond lucky to have her. I own my own company and I would be ecstatic to have an employee like her! I hope she's a manager and you hold on to that one! “Really nice store! Clean and staff were super friendly. I normally get a frozen latte, but they couldn't make it. No problem, I tried an iced latte, and it was even better than the frozen. Even asked for lite ice, and they actually were capable of that simple request. Wish I lived closer. This would be my go-to Bigby.”

“Busy location in a gas station. Ordered from a kiosk. Food was served fairly promptly however the fries were cold. Our order was complete and everything that we ordered showed up. I had to clean the table myself prior to eating but again as I know that it was quite busy.”
