“Virasat Restaurant had provided food for our son's engagement party this summer. The food items (appetizers, main course, desserts and welcome drinks) were all very delicious and the restaurant staff did an outstanding job of serving our guests for the duration of party. The menu order had some non-traditional food items (eg. Litty Chokha and Champaran mutton) popular in Eastern part of India and are not typically found in a traditional Indian restaurant menu. The restaurant owner was very engaged in learning about these new recipes, and the resulting food was an instant hit with our guests. They provided live stations for items like pani puri, chat and assorted naans. Dishes like Harabara kebab, paneer saslik, chicken kebab and chicken chettinad were awesome. We would definitely engage this restaurant for any party in future. Their food and service were outstanding, and the owners were very engaged and professional in their dealing with us. Our in-dining experience at their restaurant has also been outstanding (eg. for food tasting) and the food (veg and non-veg both) served has been to our liking.”

“Was expecting this place to be good based on other reviews but I was blown away with how good it actually is.

Food wise it’s an instant top 10 of restaurants I’ve had in Michigan. I’m not really a ramen aficionado but this was by far the best broth and quality of add ins that I’ve ever had in ramen. Of course we added the chicken Katsu and my wife got the Katsu burger both of which were amazing.

As far as fried chicken goes this is top 5 I’ve had and probably the most crispy which my wife loved. I also added some hot sauce on the side which they make in house and wow it was epically hot. Among the spiciest things I’ve ever eaten and spicy food is something I do have a very high tolerance for. Very good flavor as well but proceed with caution if spice isn’t your thing.

After such great entrees we added a piece of the deep fried cheesecake which is essentially cheesecake Katsu and was also amazing. A wild dessert if you ask me but it really worked well with the crispy breading and the cool cheesecake inside.

Overall no doubt we will return here soon. The interior is laid back and the service was very friendly from the staff. We were there late before closing and everything was hot and fresh and just great. Prices are very reasonable for this type of food. Don’t sleep on this spot - its location is unassuming but it’s a hidden gem in Michigan.”

“I was looking for a vegetarian wrap that was on the menu in Google maps. But when I got there the customer service rep told me that that was their old menu that they didn't offer it anymore.
They were very willing to accommodate me and really give me any of their bowls or wraps and make them vegetarian for right around the same price.
I ended up ordering a bowl of like quinoa, beans, broccoli... and they threw in a black bean burger.
The food was good.
this is the first time I've ever come across a place like this. Their food is minimally processed.
as opposed to just a quick fast food restaurant, they have a very interesting concept where they prepare these fresh meals in their kitchen and then have them available either Frozen or in a refrigerator for you to drop by and pick up whatever you want. want. they have a pretty extensive menu and you can order it ahead of time. it'll be ready for pickup.
I don't live near here so won't be able to utilize this place again but I would if I was in the area.”

Mostly for business meetings at places that love Indian food and they have all told me this is their favorite place in the area. I myself have tasted it and it is wonderful one of the best places in this area. Good flavor and authentic!

They are also with DoorDash and this location has a specials menu where some items available here are not at the other location. Also the chef here has 25 years of experience cooking in the UK, and that quality shows here. The manager Abdul is great! Will return many times.”

“Nekter (and jack) are the best thing to happen to Rochester in years! As someone with autoimmune illness, who loves fitness & struggles to get all my protein in this place is a god send. Everything is made perfectly, I’ve been coming here for over a year & never one time has quality declined.
That seems like every time I come here there’s something new added to the menu, which is amazing. They offer agave nectar instead of sweetener, different types of protein, & all sorts of juices. The store itself is always extremely clean & the staff is always polite. They have a cute little area you can sit and eat in, great music, & a small area for kids to sit & color. My favorite smoothies are PB&J, Blueberry almond butter, & Raspberry riot. These are perfect for me to door dash at work as well when I don’t have time to eat a meal. Thank you Nektar!”

I have had all kinds of Middle East and Mediterranean food all my life, but nothing has ever come close to your delicious pitas, the most delicious gyros lamb meat, so tender and perfectly cooked, the Feta Whip Is Our Favorite just absolutely melts in your mouth. “CK’s has been our favorite neighborhood place since they opened in 1998. Always good food and service in a fun atmosphere. Enjoying the patio is extra nice as is meeting friends for a game. They have a great tap list and happy hour and daily specials. The recent remodel looks great!”

The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the prices are a little on the high side, and the wait was a bit longer than expected. Still, the quality and taste made it worth the visit. I’d definitely come back when I’m craving premium ice cream.”

The Tikki chicken masala and lamb biryani were excellent. The naan was a little crispy, not what I expected, but still delicious. We got our food in a timely manner. We had to wait a little for our bill but it appeared they were preparing a large carryout order.”

“Great place to go for pizza. They have an absolutely huge large pizza. Their wings are the best around. We have gotten wings from just about every place around here and New York Pizza has the best. So much meat and the best flavors. A little bummed you have to pay extra for any dressing to go with the wings. My only real complaint is that the last two times I tried to place an order online using the app, I picked everything I wanted and when I clicked continue or cart to finish the order, the app told me the location was closed. So I had to call in and place the order, since I knew they were open.”

“I recently placed a catering order for four 6-foot subs from Buscemi’s, and I have to say, they were the best subs we have ever had! The bread was incredibly soft and fresh, and you could tell the meats and vegetables had been freshly sliced that morning. Everything tasted amazing!
The service was just as wonderful as the food. Raja, the manager, was extremely accommodating with all of the special dietary requests I had. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was prepared exactly as requested. She even made subs for us that were not on the regular menu. She even delivered our food ahead of the scheduled time, which was such a huge help for our party!
When I placed the order, I also noticed how clean the shop was, which immediately gave me confidence that I had chosen the right place for our catering.

My go-to with Jets is their barbecue chicken pizza, which I think is really delicious. This time I got pepperoni and I ordered a head and it was ready on time and as promised.

“I am absolutely outraged with the behavior of the owner today at SOHO. My family and I went to this restaurant after Saturday little league games. We had 5 adults, 5 children and 2 babies. We have been to this restaurant countless times as a family. Today, after sitting and looking an menus, ordering drinks, we were met by the manager that came to our table and said “I’m sorry our limit is 8 people”. Confused, we asked for clarity because again, we have been to this restaurant countless times with the SAME group and number of people. In fact, we have NEVER been to this restaurant with less people. I asked, “wait are you saying we can’t eat here today because of the number of people?“ THAT is how confused I seriously was. The manager then responded, “Yes, I’m so sorry”. I pointed out to him that we had been sitting, getting ready to order for quite some time. Moments before this, the waiter came to take our orders but had to leave to grab us extra napkins. He said that his waiter called him all the way from his home because he couldn’t “do it” - referring to asking us to leave. There were quite a few other staff members there. So if this was a rule, why didn’t any of them point it out to the “new person” or let us know right away Of their “party limit”.? Please know we went on a Saturday around 330pm and there was two other parties in the entire restaurant - totaling only 5 other people. To me, if I had a party that was a few people over my “limit” I would not kick them out one, but definitely not when my restaurant is close to empty and the party has already been sat. Because of my “new team members” error- as a manager, I would have continued to serve this party. I need to point out that NONE of us in our entire lives have ever been asked to leave ANYWHERE. We are a Christian family of Pastors and ministers. I say this to speak to our character. There was no behavior on our end, that warranted this. I also pointed out that the table we were sitting at was DESIGNED for more than 10 people. We didn’t come into the restaurant moving tables and chairs together, the table was already set up for 12 people to sit there. I asked the manager why we were sat and waited on For all this time to then be kicked out? He claimed that the person who was our waiter was new and didn’t know their 8 people limit rule. I pointed out the fact that the table we were sitting at was set up for 12 And asked why that is if they had a limit of 8? He then said with our number of kids - it is not safe for them in the restaurant because their establishment serves alcohol. So first it was because our party was more than 8 and then it turned into being an issue with the number of kids? There is absolutely no reason for this behavior. To me, the only thing that makes any sense is it being racially discriminatory. I strongly urge you to no longer go to this restaurant. Of course, we left with no issue because if we are not welcome or wanted because of race or any other invalid reason- we don’t want to eat at the restaurant anyways. But point of my review is to prevent this from happening to anyone else. we used to love this place and our entire family would come. never again, even with 2 people will I step foot in this establishment and I will strongly encourage everyone I know and everyone that’s reading this to do the same.”

“Came in for an early lunch today and was pleasantly greeted by a sweet young lady at the front door. She had such a great smile and energy, very nice to see. Our server greeted us right away and was so upbeat. She took our order right away and our food came out so quick! As we were eating an older woman with long hair came to check on us. She was so nice and accommodating, asked us if everything was to our liking, if we needed anything else, and chatted with us as if we were old friends. We had such a great time that we will be back and hopefully see these three again. Just wish I would have gotten their names :(”
