“Came on a Saturday at 2pm and was a little sad to see that they didn’t have any of the vegan loaves of bread, but did get a baguette (contains egg) and it was realllllly good. Everyone knows that gluten free bread is not the same as gluten-filled bread, but this baguette had a nice amount of crunch to the outside and it was perfect with soup. Wish they had more vegan options available as not everyone in our family can have dairy and eggs. But absolutely will be back to hopefully snag some more gf goodies again soon!“

“THIS IS NO RUN-OF-THE-MILL, REGULAR-SHMEGULAR BAKERY!!! This bakery has the BEST pies and donuts you’ve ever tasted in your whole entire life. I know what you’re thinking, “How good can pie really be? Is it really THAT much better than a gas station donut?” Well, I promise you that the baked goods at this establishment are truly exceptional. In fact, we moved almost an hour away and still drive back to use this bakery for special occasions. I only wish their hours of operation were better (after work on weekdays and longer on weekends!) Try the strawberry rhubarb pie or crunch donut holes, but you really can’t go wrong here.“

“I had the chicken chimichanga and my partner had the shrimp tacos. He tried some of my rice & beans and immediately orders his own side! When we first got there, we were bummed out about no chips and queso… but everything following that seriously makes it worth it, forget the queso! The salsa was amazing as well. The service was awesome, I read somewhere that this place is owned by 3 sisters and you can absolutely tell they own the place. Not only can you tell they are happy to be there, but they really enjoy the restaurant. You’ll see them back there cooking your food before they bring it to you. And there is one ingredient in their food you will never taste at El Rancho Grande or any big name Mexican restaurant… LOVE!! We ate all our food and were definitely full, but it didn’t leave us feeling all gross and lethargic like you do after eating the greasy food at other restaurants. Come show this family owned business some love, you won’t regret it“

“Fantastic neighborhood spot! It was our first time dining here and we had a great time. The patio was quiet and private, and the staff were very friendly. We ordered the duck taco, mussels, pesto fettuccine with asparagus and a side of fries. We’d order all of it again, but the duck taco was our favorite!

“We recently tried Heather’s Pies for the first time and picked up the pies on our way home from the hospital after having a child. Heather’s pies were delicious and her customer service was exceptional! She even gave us one of the pies for free as a congratulations gift to our family! The overall experience was second to none and we highly recommend!“

“This is one of the best gluten free and healthy restaurants in the five state area. The food tastes homemade and the dining area has a lot of natural light with big windows and a view of Bde Maka Ska (Lake Calhoun).
My personal favorites are their egg sandwiches on delicious focaccia bread. All the bowls are great too. Their business continues to grow and I’m looking forward to their new Edina store.
The manager, Kyle, is very personal, professional, and greets me by my name. I’m a regular. I come weekly. As a celiac, it’s the safest restaurant around.“

“Overpriced for what you get. The crepes were nice (its really hard to go wrong with a crepe). Utensils are all "compostable". Who knows if they actually compost. Does feel a little cheap because of it.Aside from that, place is pretty spacious. Tables are well laid out. Technically self service, but there are people going around clearing tables for you. Ciders are pretty good. Staff is polite and service is quick.There's pickleball in the building too. Might give that a try some other time.Great location. There weren't too many people when I went, but it was still kinda hard to find parking on a Thursday night.“

“This is an update from my last review several years ago. Visited for an early lunch and was greeted by Betty, our server. As I often to when at a restaurant, I asked her to order for me. I told her two things usually happen - I get what the cook suggests when asked, or I get what the server usually orders for themselves. Never do I get anything not on the menu. This time, she served me a plain mushroom/cheese/bacon omelet with a side of hashbrowns. Plain, but incredibly delicious. (Bacon makes dirt taste good!) It was excellent. My only complaint is the lack of a ketchup bottle on the table, and my Diet Coke refills were a little slow. I didn't ask what the surprise desert was, but it was almost better then the bacon - 5 or 6 layers of moist cake with a ton of frosting and coconut. Thanks Betty - you were a great server and we had a great time. See pic for the half eaten meal. My partner had the fried chicken - light, crispy and perfectly cooked.“

“Found this little gem this morning with a friend and I think it’s my new go-to coffee shop with other moms when we have to bring our kiddos! As a mom of a toddler, it can be really hard to expect my son to stay sitting while I try to enjoy a coffee with a friend but this place has incredible coffee and food, incredible customer service, and an amazing play area to let the kiddos roam while you enjoy time with a friend!! “You know I don't always go to steakhouses all the time, but I might have to change that after visiting Ruth's. Chris. Honestly, the food is just so good. The prices are definitely eye-watering, but it's definitely to be expected. Plenty of people around you are celebrating something so you can tell it's definitely a restaurant that most people are visiting for special occasions. Honestly, I prefer their food over 6 Smith and even Manny's.

The steaks here are always perfectly cooked, seasoned just right, and absolutely delicious. 10/10

We are beyond grateful for Chindian's willingness and care in the preparation of allergy safe options for our son. “A customer first experience, above and beyond! I called last minute, valentine's morning with a shot in the dark request for a safe day delivery. I pretty much assumed it was a “no way!” due to the standard chaos of Valentine’s Day, already scheduled things, etc.

No hesitation was made while obliging my late request. Not only was Pat beyond gracious is making it happen, but just a great human offering the type of service we rarely see these days…efficient, kind, and happy to make things happen.

“I've been to the melting pot several times in multiple cities but this time was the best! We went for my daughter's 13th birthday and wow do they really make the day feel special! The food was amazing but what made it even more amazing was our waitress Jade! She is so awesome and amazing at her job! It was my daughter's first time there and Jade carefully explained every detail to her so she felt confident in doing the fondue. She also made sure to make my daughter feel special too! She brought cake with a candle for my daughter and did the flambé on the chocolate perfectly and she also perfectly poured my drink; I got the 1975 which wasn't on the menu anymore but she got it for me! Jade was also so very kind and also very professional, give that woman a raise! Go to the melting pot, and request Jade as your waitress and you are guaranteed to have a great time!!!“

“Delicious latte and double chocolate donut for under $10. You don't miss the dairy or gluten in any of their products. The donut was soft and moist with decadent chocolate frosting. Haven't tried the breads yet, I'll try to update later, but they definitely pass the squish test, springing right back just like a glutenful item. I also got myself a birthday cupcake :) vegan cream cheese frosting was amazing! You've got a try the savory monkey bread. Highly recommend“

“I’m so happy I found this place near my Airbnb! Grabbed a couple HUGE cookies for later, loved my breakfast sandwich with veggie sausage, the coffee is delicious, it’s so bright and cozy at the same time. I only wish I was staying in town longer to try all these breads.
