“Enjoyed a fabulous meal last night with our friends. The restaurant is in an older antique home in Huntersville close to the highway. We were greeted at the door by the host/owners very friendly and sat with our group of seven in a small very private area ( as are most) in a series of dining rooms very nicely furnished with comfortable chairs. Our hostess immediately came over and took our drink order. There was a large selection of wines by both glass and bottle and both cocktails and regular beverages served from a large bar at the rear of the restaurant. The menu selections were wide and varied and the hostess informed us of three additional special entrees for the evening . For appetizers we ordered garlic bread with a traditional dipping oil and calamari with red sauce both were great . All the entrees were served together and were the best Italian food we have tasted outside of Italy anywhere. A lot of there sauces , desserts and breads are made on premises. There was water goblets as soon as we arrived at the table. Service was excellent, food was delicious and remarkable. Would not hesitate to go back. Prices were outstanding . “We have been going to Antico for at least seven years; the food is normally excellent. Last visit, I had the lunch portion around 2PM Chicken Capricioso and the chicken was tough, barely any artichoke. This review was more of a heads up to the kitchen. I was kind on the “4” rating for the dish, as your dishes are typically wonderful. Also, our waiter was too busy socializing to notice the needs of his other customers.”

Everything went effortless and the food was delicious! Before our arrival I had spoken with Virgil who was so personable, professional and who clearly understood what I was requesting. “First time visiting this location of Red Rocks. Saturday afternoon was very attentive. No seating inside at time of visit so was seated outdoors.. which we didn’t mind. Server was respectful and polite. Only problems was ALLLL THE FLIES. Fans were circulating above but not really near tables to serve any purpose other than moving air. Owner/manager greeted everyone which was very nice. But you really got to see what can be done with flies… you could barely get food on your fork up to your mouth before they were all over your plate or trying to get to the fork. That made for an unpleasant dining experience. I’ve never ate on any restaurants outdoor area and flies were that bad.”

“absolutely the worst taco place I have ever been to.. confusing ordering..no server, just food runners..way over priced for below average cold tacos.. mixing orders together leaving customers to figure it out.. no server to keep your drink filled.or clear your table ..table hot sauces taste like pure vinegar.. small tiny tacos at the price of normal size tacos...just not good..I spent almost 100 dollars and left angry because it was so bad, confusing and Chaotic and bad tacos... will never go back..worst experience I ever had just trying to get some tacos... I don't know who thought this up..but you have no idea what you're doing.. you will soon be filing for bankruptcy..people don't want all the confusion and doing everything on their own while paying double for a tiny not good taco..you may get first time customers, but I would say 90 percent won't be back.. what an absolute ripoff..”

I asked for the special BD offer. Mgr explained the procedure to get this promotion. However she made a exception which impressed me as well as the birthday boy. Food excellent, server I called Ebony (wrong name) smiled and brought all things requested in a timely fashion without the usual look of give me a chance. The 5ft 3 Mgr made small talk with BD boy. “First of all, what a cool, fun atmosphere. From the second you pull up, you can tell it's going to be a fun place to be! My father (77) and I (33) had lunch there today and we both enjoyed it. We were sitting near the volcano room and when it erupted, the lights over our table changed color. Like, how fun! Also, the playlist was so good! Kudos to whoever picks the music. The crab puppies are a MUST. So full of crab meat, the visit would have been worth it for those alone. I got the White Trash Burger, and usually when it comes to burgers, I'll eat half and then take the meat off and eat the bun alone (carb girly for life). This was so good, I finished it all. So juicy and flavorful! My dad got a hot dog (something 500, I can't remember) and he said it was great as well. Get the house chips, you won't regret it. They're thin and crispy, and the ranch just elevates them! We had multiple servers come make sure we were good throughout the meal, loved the teamwork! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming! Definitely will be returning any time I'm in the area. Hope y'all are open for a long time! Sorry this review was so long, but man, I was truly impressed. Great job y'all!”

I stopped by during their soft opening and it was totally worth the wait. The wings were made fresh right after ordering, so it took a few extra minutes, but I didn’t mind at all while enjoying my grapefruit peach tea with jelly—so refreshing and delicious! When the wings arrived, they were crispy, flavorful, and perfectly coated in sauce. I tried half garlic soy and half spicy, and that spicy one had this amazing tteokbokki-style flavor that I can’t stop thinking about.

Such a great spot with convenient parking in the plaza. Definitely a new favorite—five stars all the way!”

“My family has eaten here a few times over the past year or so and it has always been good. We usually do the 'build your own bowl' and there are a lot of options. My kids like the white rice with avocado, tuna, and sweet soy sauce. In many cases I can split two bowls across three people making the price reasonable (around $25-27). Service at the counter has always been friendly and the tables in the restaurant are clean. Would recommend going there if you like poke bowls - much better than the ones from the grocery store and about the same price.”

My family absolutely loves their paletas — they’re just the right amount of sweetness and it’s great that they offer vegan options too.

We tried the chocolate hazelnut cookies and cream with cookie butter and almonds, and the coconut with dark chocolate and almonds — so, so, so yummy! 😋 Highly recommend if you’re in the area and craving a fun treat!”

“Exceptional Dining Experience at Que Onda Original!

We'd heard rave reviews about the original Que Onda restaurant, and our curiosity was piqued. Although we'd tried many of their dishes at other locations, we were eager to explore new options. The birria torta and birria ramen exceeded our expectations. The generous serving of tender, juicy meat was perfectly seasoned. The drinks were also very amazing and thirst quenching.

What truly stood out, however, was the restaurant's warm and inviting atmosphere. Even though this is the oldest Que Onda restaurant, it still holds its own homey charm - a true testament to the owners and manager's dedication to preserving its authentic character.

We'll definitely be back for more! Highly recommend trying their unique dishes. Service and quality were top-notch!”

One thing they could have done better on is the lettuce and tomatoes on the hamburger were only on half of it so apparently it was slipped into the paper wrapper and they just shoved it in the front and it was still good but you could tell they did in a hurry and weren't exactly careful.”

“Just want to shout out Jet’s pizza...I (like apparently ever other human in the area) called multiple places this afternoon for a pizza delivery a few hours ahead of when I wanted it, and Jet’s was the third try that could actually do the time I wanted the pizza to arrive. The time came and passed so I called 15 minutes after it was due to ask for an update. I was told that my order hadn’t been assigned to a driver because they got really backed up but it would be out ASAP. I was bummed since we had trick or treat to get crackin on, but I just said “ok thank you” and hung up and told the kids we would play it by ear for adjusted plans around when food got here. Just before 6:00, I get a call from Jet’s profusely apologizing, telling me a fresh pizza order would be to me shortly and my card would not be charged. My pizza arrived perfectly hot and fresh not long after, and my kids still got a full night of trick or treat in...just wanted to shout out Jet’s for this above and beyond gesture as I had NO expectation for such a thing, knowing how crazy all the pizza joints were tonight (10/31/20)”
