“Great food, service, & beer selection! The fried pepperoni & cheese curds were delicious. My wife liked the firecracker shrimp Alfredo, but said it had some spice. The Greek platter was amazing as well. I got the combination to try both the lamb & chicken. The chicken tasted like souvlaki & was good, but I favored the lamb. I typically would order an old fashioned, but they did not have large blocks of ice. Given what Helene’s impact on western NC, I was happy to see this restaurant thriving & folks in good spirit. This place is a gem for the community, and I highly recommend.”

“We passed by Wagbar on our way to our Airbnb and just knew we had to visit. So many happy dogs playing, my dog was anxious to join everytime we passed by. I love that they take being up to date on vaccines serious. We were greeted by what I called the "Welcome committee" consisting of 3 huge golden retrievers. Got inside, ordered a few drinks and set Stash free. He was right away accepted into the group of dogs playing and shown around. Not only were all the dogs friendly and very social, but their owners were as well. Great conversations were had. Absolutely recommend this place. The employee working that day(can't remember her name) was amazing with the dogs. She took notice anytime the dogs were "bored". She would come out and entice them to play around. Hilarious seeing the regulars reaction to her approach because they KNEW what was up haha! Can't wait to visit again when we are in town.”

“Wonderful service and such great flavors. The summer salad was fresh, crisp, and flavorful. The pasta is so good - the ragu and chicken Italian sausage dishes both such great textures and complementary flavors. The seafood creole was also delicious. Here's my one caveat. The rolls are always highly praised, I know, but I wish they used a little less butter. I don't like a pool of butter for the roll to sit in, or for my fingers to be so greasy from picking it up.”

“We were visiting family in the area and they took us to Soba. On the way back home to VA we couldnt stop talking about how great the sushi was. Our waitress Bee was also amazing. We can’t wait for our next visit to go back!”

“We had an amazing meal, the service was above and beyond and I loved the 🏠 type of atmosphere. So calm and relaxed, it felt like having a dinner at home. It would be a good place to get away for a bit and just have a good meal or even a date for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Highly suggest that you bring an appetite because the servings are quite large and you'll end up with a to-go tray to take to your actual home.”

“Laid back cosy vibes with gorgeous Mountain View’s from the patio and the locals who go are friendly. The kava tender who worked tonight was quick, efficient and friendly and the beverages are priced reasonably well as with the quality is excellent. Regulars come to perform awesome music for everyone to jam out to. Definitely recommend stopping by 👍”

“We live just north of the village and come here often. Love Yellow Mug! Order at the counter, find a table indoors or out, they will find you when your food is ready. Terrific fresh-ground coffee, creative breakfasts, sandwiches, salads (I love The One with Quinoa and Butternut Squash—yes, that is its name). Very fresh food, veg/vegan and GF options, beer and wine, excellent wifi….one of our favorite places!!!”

“You can’t go wrong with the AMAZING pound cakes! So far, Ive had the vanilla, almond and last, but not least, turtle! The cakes are delicious and worth every penny. Not only can you have the cake shipped to you, its FAST!! The customer service is above and beyond as well. Highly recommend.”

“I'm from out of town and decided to stop in this cute little local ice cream shop. It's very clean and has a mix of handmade item goods like candles, soaps, and crochet items. For my ice cream I got cherry vanilla and bourbon pecan. I really enjoyed the combination of the flavors together. The ice cream is smooth, creamy and very flavorful. The ice cream doesn't melt to quick and the price on a double scoop is absolutely amazing considering the scoop size in the photo. When I come back I will definitely come stop in here again. I recommend just giving it a try.”

“We stopped here for breakfast at apx 11 am this morning, 07/07/23. We sat at the counter due to all seats being taken, busy place. Service was great, food was excellent, staff were all friendly and helpful and the camaraderie among them was easy and comfortable . The two 'grillmasters 'Bob' and ? sorry I forgot to ask her name ..were amazing to watch. 8 plates up and no tickets, mind boggling. Breakfast was an enjoyable experience. we will make this a regular stop on travels. The Priddy of Danville KY Five ⭐ ⭐ ⭐⭐ ⭐”

“Food is usually ok and service is great if you get the shorter Hispanic lady helping you. The atmosphere is weird because it's a drive through/car hop and the inside is hardly ever open. And when it is there is never anyone consistently checking on the counter.”
