“Great food, service, & beer selection! The fried pepperoni & cheese curds were delicious. My wife liked the firecracker shrimp Alfredo, but said it had some spice. The Greek platter was amazing as well. I got the combination to try both the lamb & chicken. The chicken tasted like souvlaki & was good, but I favored the lamb. I typically would order an old fashioned, but they did not have large blocks of ice. Given what Helene’s impact on western NC, I was happy to see this restaurant thriving & folks in good spirit. This place is a gem for the community, and I highly recommend.”

“We passed by Wagbar on our way to our Airbnb and just knew we had to visit. So many happy dogs playing, my dog was anxious to join everytime we passed by. I love that they take being up to date on vaccines serious. We were greeted by what I called the "Welcome committee" consisting of 3 huge golden retrievers. Got inside, ordered a few drinks and set Stash free. He was right away accepted into the group of dogs playing and shown around. Not only were all the dogs friendly and very social, but their owners were as well. Great conversations were had. Absolutely recommend this place. The employee working that day(can't remember her name) was amazing with the dogs. She took notice anytime the dogs were "bored". She would come out and entice them to play around. Hilarious seeing the regulars reaction to her approach because they KNEW what was up haha! Can't wait to visit again when we are in town.”

The kava tender who worked tonight was quick, efficient and friendly and the beverages are priced reasonably well as with the quality is excellent. “I've been to this restaurant before and so have you. The local place with meat loaf, fried chicken, fried shrimp and other 1975 comfort food. Gravy on almost everything. The prices are excellent, service good.”

“I'm only giving 4 out of 5 simply because I feel there's always room to improve things. With that being said our burgers were delicious and the fries just right, I requested my tater tots be cooked just a little extra for a little crisp and they done excellent didn't cook the taters out and give me hard brick they was great just right imo. My wife rarely ever finishes all her food at first and slowly nibbles it away as we work but not this one she devoured it and her fries all at once, That alone is enough to convince me that it's worth the money especially being locally sourced and owned. Staff was excellent and food was done fresh and quickly. Have been back but my next stop is going to be for breakfast so keep an eye out for a breakfast update”

“We live just north of the village and come here often. Love Yellow Mug! Order at the counter, find a table indoors or out, they will find you when your food is ready. Terrific fresh-ground coffee, creative breakfasts, sandwiches, salads (I love The One with Quinoa and Butternut Squash—yes, that is its name). Very fresh food, veg/vegan and GF options, beer and wine, excellent wifi….one of our favorite places!!!”

“All other fast food restaurants have degraded their food quality. Jersey Mike's has upgraded. Their steak and cheese sub is one of the best I've ever ate. I get it as a big kahuna which includes mushrooms and onions and extra cheese. The staff are extremely friendly and the restaurant was clean. Everything you could ask for.”

“I'm from out of town and decided to stop in this cute little local ice cream shop. It's very clean and has a mix of handmade item goods like candles, soaps, and crochet items. For my ice cream I got cherry vanilla and bourbon pecan. I really enjoyed the combination of the flavors together. The ice cream is smooth, creamy and very flavorful. The ice cream doesn't melt to quick and the price on a double scoop is absolutely amazing considering the scoop size in the photo. When I come back I will definitely come stop in here again. I recommend just giving it a try.”

“We stopped here for breakfast at apx 11 am this morning, 07/07/23. We sat at the counter due to all seats being taken, busy place. Service was great, food was excellent, staff were all friendly and helpful and the camaraderie among them was easy and comfortable . The two 'grillmasters 'Bob' and ? sorry I forgot to ask her name ..were amazing to watch. 8 plates up and no tickets, mind boggling. Breakfast was an enjoyable experience. we will make this a regular stop on travels. The Priddy of Danville KY Five ⭐ ⭐ ⭐⭐ ⭐”

“Food is usually good unless you go an hour until they close and then they don't put anything fresh out. They are also usually out of most sushi but the Egg drop soup is the best in my opinion”

“Food is usually ok and service is great if you get the shorter Hispanic lady helping you. The atmosphere is weird because it's a drive through/car hop and the inside is hardly ever open. And when it is there is never anyone consistently checking on the counter.”
