“Amazing pizza. I definitely gotta try the other things on the menu but the pizza is fire. 5 stars for sure! I ordered 2 large pies pepperoni and cheese and costed me about $30 for both pies and I love how it’s thin crust,the cheese pull and how fresh and absolutely delicious it is. I am definitely coming here again. Very clean on the inside too, I would recommend coming here! :)

It has a milder flavor compared to Katz's, which I actually prefer since it allowed me to finish the whole sandwich in one go. Katz's meat is so intensely flavorful that I usually need to take a break and cleanse my palate before I can finish later. This place is a fantastic alternative if you're in Jersey. The prices are reasonable, and the 8 oz option is perfect for satisfying your craving without breaking the bank. The Knish and macaroni salad were delicious as well. They give you delicious pickles. I used to live on Grove, and back then it felt like more of a neighborhood secret. Now there’s almost always a crowd outside and someone trying to get the perfect corner table photo—but somehow it still feels real.

That’s hard to pull off.

I like it best at the bar. Cocktail, a few plates, nowhere to be. The room is busy and packed, but still somehow cozy instead of chaotic.

Zucchini fritti, tagliatelle, and a mezcal margarita - the zucchini fritti disappeared fast—light, crisp, salty, exactly what you want with a drink. The tagliatelle was simple in the best way. Perfect pasta, balanced flavors, nothing trying too hard.

Still a neighborhood favorite.“

Excellent food and service, they were understanding when part of our party was late to the reservation due to travel delays and tried their best to accommodate. They even gave me tea and crackers while waiting for my friends! Gratuity is included in the price (like how they do it in Japan) which is surprisingly refreshing and touching for NYC. The value is unbeatable for omakase and definitely a must try if you like sushi and want to try an authentic and quality omakase experience without breaking the bank.“

“Five of us had a party on Saturday evening. The tavern was quite busy which reflected on service (our waiter wasn't present all the time). But I can understand that.
The space itself doesn't look like a typical Greek tavern, but high ceiling, good furniture and an appropriate lighting are definitely worth mentioning.
The food is good, but some portions are too small. For example, Greek salad is very tasty, but the portion is way too small. The same goes for grilled saganaki. In addition, our lamb chops were served well-done, although we asked for medium. On the other hand, our red snapper was great.
Restrooms are too small for a restaurant with this capacity.
The wine list should be MUCH better.
Overall, it wasn't a bad experience. And the prices are very reasonable to be honest.
However, if I compare the food and portions with some other Greek taverns in Astoria I have to admit there are better options.“
