“Love everything about this restaurant from views, service and of course food choices. Tonight we started off with the Lobster ravioli appetizer in a shallot sauce, followed by a house salad and then we split the filet and lobster tail. The quality of food is amazing and we always enjoy our meals at Primal!”
“Excellent service from Athena. Really good food. Still BYOB but now have Meadowcroft wines. Very nice wine very reasonably priced.”
“I have used Lucky Bones’s Eric three times in the last five years for catering parties at my home/in my yard. Twice I also booked waitresses with my party. The food is always delicious, the service reliable. We ran out of chicken tenders for the kids once and they brought over a new batch! Everything is set up as ordered and arrives on time. You can’t go wrong with them for your party. My father’s small after-funeral reception was in their back room and my husband and I eat at the restaurant at least once a month. Highly recommend.”
“We love James at the front of the house and the super talented chefs - such a unique and fun experience. Three of us had the vegetarian tasting menu and it was amazing! I wish there were more restaurants like this! Thank you!”
“We dined on Friday, 10.31.25 supporting the Cape May Restaurant Weekend. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her Red Snapper Alla Plancha that was impeccably simmered in a tomato-saffron cream sauce along with the delectable additions of mussels, rock shrimp, creamer potatoes and confit fennel. I had the wonderful opportunity to sample the Grilled Duroc Pork Chop with aged gouda potato purée, ginger glazed vegetables, sherry wine cream sauce and seasonal mostarda that was done to absolute perfection. I haven't cleaned my plate like that for years! My wife echoed that it was one of the top three dinners that we have ever had as a couple....Our service was second to none from the expediters, bussers and our very warm and personable server, Anna, who just added to the overall dining experience. A five star event for sure!”

“First time in cricket club. Bar has nice vibe they were busy and the bartender was attentive. We all enjoyed our meals and desserts. Service was excellent never waited for our next dish. Will definitely be eating here again.”
“I have now been to Behr Brewing on several occasions, I like it's quaint and relaxed atmosphere...but mostly I like the beer, I'm not sure how I would describe my pallet but my visits to numerous other breweries I often taste beers that just aren't for me. I can honestly say every time I have visited Behr all of the beers I have tried are very drinkable and I have enjoyed every single batch. very satisfying for sure.”

“PRIMAL in Cape May offers an exceptional dining experience! . As a first-time visitor during the off-season, I was truly impressed by both the outstanding service and the remarkable food. Chef Mia and her team deliver on quality, quantity, and value.
The meal started with complimentary fresh-made bread, followed by a delightful house salad. The main courses—filet, halibut, and a lobster/scallop appetizer in the shallot cream sauce—were all flavorful and cooked to perfection. And the Truffle Yukon mashed potatoes? Simply the best I’ve ever had. Dessert was a tower of homemade cookies surrounded by fresh fruit and decadent vanilla icing.
PRIMAL is a standout gem in Cape May, offering an unforgettable dining experience that combines exceptional service, expertly crafted dishes, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're a local or visiting during the off-season, this restaurant is a must-try. Chef Mia and her team have truly set the bar high—an experience worth savoring from start to finish!”
“What an amazing meal last night. We have been here many times before and some of the old standbys (the pate for example) remain excellent. The fois gras preparation was creative, visually attractive, and delicious. We both had duck, but different dishes and both thought they were among the best we've ever had. The cassoulet was moist, the beans plump and juicy. Not dry like they so often are. And the addition of some saffron was a great addition and really impacted the taste. The duck l'orange was amazing. The addition of a little bit of candied orange rind was brilliant and brought huge pops of orange flavor to a perfectly cooked duck breast. The vegetable of the day also deserves a mention. Perfect parsnip puree topped with perfectly roasted brussel sprouts. The apple tart for dessert was the right size to share. Light, buttery, and the caramel sauce was delicious. Our best meal yet here. We will be back!!”
“our server, jennifer, was so friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, efficient and one of the best servers i ever had. Sean, the manager and sommelier was so knowledgeable about wine and gave us great a recommendation on an exquisite bottle of wine, which paired perfectly with our dinner. this restaurant surpassed our expectations”

“Enjoyed The Y.B. during restaurant week. Was our first time and we will be back. Everything was fresh and well presented. The service was excellent. I’ve probably walked past this little gem a hundred times and never stopped in for a meal. I’m just sorry I didn’t try it sooner! Thanks for an excellent meal! We can’t wait to come back! Cheers!”
“Yozu is a really great Japanese restaurant. Unlike most other restaurants in the area they stay open beyond 8:00 PM and gladly served me at 8:45 PM. Their salmon teriyaki and Long Island Rolls are great. The prices are reasonable and they offer hibachi. I’ll be back here when I come back to Cape May for vacation in the summertime.”
“Fresh and interesting menu. Everything we had was perfect. Smoked salmon and noodle aps were both great starters to share. Scallops, crab cakes, swordfish entrees were delicious. The desserts were lovely and generous portions. Not surprised to hear that this is a perennial favorite for many regulars.”
“We stopped in the Brown Room for a quick bite to eat and a couple of cocktails. We arrived at brunch time, and didn't want to wait for the full restaurant, so we slipped in here, and we were not disappointed!! Fantastic cocktails, and delicious lobster rolls!! Highly recommend a visit!”
“Solid, well-balanced pizza with a slightly crispy, perfectly chewy crust—I actually found the crust was my favorite part, which says more about the dough than the toppings. We ordered a little before 5pm and it was ready in about 15 minutes. I also ordered buffalo wings just for a bit of variety, and while I appreciate they came un-sauced to keep them crispy, they were pretty basic pizza shop wings that came with a sad, warm packet of Ken's Blue Cheese dressing (I'm not sure where the extra side of blue cheese I paid .50 for ended up). All-in-all, not bad for being on the mall and within close walking distance.”

“These are the best things ever!! In the summer you can’t get near the place because it’s so busy. The like is worth the wait! They have mail order and we have ordered three times! The more u order the better the price. This last time we ordered 24! The owner of this store is super nice and treats his employees so good! Def MUST HAVE!!”
“Yesterday we went to Cape May Winery with a bachelorette party group. We had a great experience from booking, too ordering our wine and enjoying our time in the lower cellar room. Special shout out to the amazing table of guests next to us that included 3 married couples that each had been married for over 25 years. They stopped at our table to give our bride-to-be some amazing wedding and successful marriage advice. It was a really special visit and I am so glad we chose to come here! 💜”

“Always love the Lobster House, been going for years. Ate at the Raw Bar. Had the grilled swordfish with lemon butter, side of fries and corn on the cob. Fish was cooked perfectly and the corn was nicely cooked, not mushy.
Was a rainy day after Labor Day so was slow, but still loved eating on the deck looking at the water and boats.”
“speedy, great service with no complaints! ben and jerry’s has a wide variety of flavors posted up on their wall before you come in as a little menu, which are all kosher and any dietary restrictions are clarified under the flavor — where non-dairy is separated under the color geeen and sorbet is separated in pink. the ice cream here is highly delicious and is hard to melt but it still doesn’t feel rock solid when you’re eating. the staff here are very polite and the introductory board for the employees is really cute :) i love the message that ben and jerry’s spreads with classic flavors that we all love!”
“Great small town shop. They have a great selection of household and kitchen accessories. They have a good variety of foods as well and of course they have a whole section of coffee. They have a bunch of coffee to choose from and you can have it ground fresh in store if you like. The location in the heart of downtown Cape May shopping and it’s hard to miss. Parking can be limited depending on what time of the year you go but is not to difficult. We look forward to our nice trip in to Cape May to return and try some more fresh coffee!”
“I ordered a veggie burger & sweet potato fries, pretty much my go-to at a pizza place. It was tasty but better than anywhere else because of the experience. I saw you give away food to someone in need, I saw you show compassion & kindness. I will support this business in the future! “On the way to Cape May” ❤️”
“Very friendly staff, bright open atmosphere across from the beach. Food was good, quick service.”

“We always look for dog friendly places while on vacation. We stopped at Cold Spring Brewery and the pups loved it as much as we did. The beer was delicious, staff was super friendly and informative on the history of the building and the beer and it's a beautiful building. Sophie and Rem got pup cups and peanut butter cups while we enjoyed our flights of beer. The inside is just as beautiful and spacious as the outside. Must stop if in the area.”
“We visited today first day of the 2025 season. The atmosphere is awesome beach sand with tables and umbrellas, Large fire pits and a large outdoor bar. The weather was 65 and partly cloudy . The host was friendly and welcoming made us feel right at home. Our waiter Jamie was friendly, accommodating and couldn’t do enough for us. He made us laugh and we never felt rushed his personality is on par! We had fried shrimp with sauces, and fried Mac and cheese balls with remoulade sauce and some cocktails. Everything was delicious. Can’t wait to come back later in the summer!”

“We celebrated our 53rd anniversary there tonight. They could not have been nicer to us. They treated us to a very special evening. Balloons at the table and complimentary champagne. They also treated us to a dessert of our choice. The food was delicious. I think we found our new favorite restaurant.”
“The owner is a local teacher during the year and a crepe maker in the summer. The crepes are made before your eyes and the fruit is freshly cut. The smoothies and drinks are also delicious. He puts a lot of topping in one crepe. This is our go to for breakfast, brunch or breakfast for linner. Consistently delicious and made by a really nice guy. We are usually first on line Opening Day and make many crepe stops throughout the season. We’ve been in Cape May more than 30 years and recommend CHILL as among the best in Cape May. Not a tourist trap. ; )”
“"Cafe Nutella" , 713 Beach Ave., Cape May, NJ 08204, across the Convention Hall. Excellent Mediterranean Food you will not find anywhere in Cape May. Maybe you don't know that Cafe Nutella has a new owner and a new Restaurant. Master Chef Ahmed is an excellent cook, his specialty is Mediterranean Cuisine. I ate Oax Tail Tajine, Moroccan Specialty: Giant beef Oax Tail simmered for hours in house made j*** sauce, dried apricot topped with crispy onions. I also ate an Avocado Salad: Rich, creamy avocados, vibrant tomatoes, crisp cucumbers, red onions, and a fresh herb dressing. I can strongly recommend this Restaurant with all my heart; Ahmed, the Master Chef prepared the food with passion and a lot of knowledge. Very tasty, I had a great time., Ali”

“My husband and I come to Cape May every year for our anniversary we have our favorite places that we love to visit this was our first visit to Pacino's bistro and we went back the night after to pick up again!!! The food was phenomenal and the wait staff were very hard working and friendly!!! I am server myself and this not an easy job but they were excellent. The ambiance in restaurant made the experience that much better. Cannot say enough good things about this establishment!”
“My husband and I come down every summer...you are always our first stop when we hit town. Absolutely love your food and atmosphere! Nick took care of us and he was phenomenal! He was so kind, accommodating and truly just a great person. We stopped on our way out to let the manager Erik know how great Nick was. It wasn't just a thank you and move on...Erick, despite the place hopping took the time to ask us what we had...did we enjoy the menu...customer service all around was 150%. Highly recommend the rooftop, Crab Dip with homemade pita chips, Brisket Bites, Fish tacos and the very best Blood Orange margarita on the island!”
“First time rating here at this BYOB and was pleasantly suprised with the quality of the food. We had Tortellini Alfredo and Lasagna for our main courses and the were both outstanding. We ate outside since the weather was so nice.
We will go back and try different mains next time.
Very affordable, especilly since they are a BYOB.”
“our meal was excellent. The Scallop and risotto appetizer was done to perfection. The Sirloin steak was prepared just as ordered. The service was excellent. The only complaint was the extreme noise level. Conversation at the table was difficult with all the background noise. We would recommend going after 7pm”
“Just landed in Cape May looking for a place to grab a quick bite we stopped at the ugly mug in Cape May. The service was excellent. The crabcakes had so much crab in them that I could not finish them. Their coleslaw is excellent out of a 10 I would give this old-time Kate Bay Restaurant 10 out of 10.”
“We had an absolute perfect dining experience. Each course was outstanding. Peach & Burrata salad, delicious. Scallops perfectly done and chocolate panna cotta so good. Loved every thing about Grana BYOB.”
