“I’ve been living in Astoria for so long, and I honestly can’t believe I hadn’t discovered this place sooner. It truly feels like a hidden gem to me. Konstantinos took such great care of us, and the whole staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Every dish I tried was outstanding—so well-balanced and absolutely delicious. The whole vibe was relaxed and chill. Complimentary galaktabouruko was better than everything Thank you for such a wonderful experience!“

The open kitchen and attentive staff set the tone for a memorable meal.
Highlights:
• The grilled octopus was tender with a perfect char, complemented by capers and onions.
• Lamb chops were juicy and flavorful, served with roasted lemon potatoes.
• Lobster spaghetti featured a rich tomato sauce infused with ouzo and herbs.  
Drawbacks:
• The restaurant can get noisy during peak hours; consider dining earlier for a quieter experience.

“This place has quickly become my favorite restaurant in Queens. A quick walk past the kitchen and the friendly staff on the grill upon entry and you are already excited about what’s to come.
Service is attentive and they offer you a lot of help with the menu if needed. I noticed the table next to me was sharing a bottle of ouzo. They noticed me looking and gladly offered me some. It was a great experience.
Keep in mind they can get busy on the weekends and on holidays.“

“Gus and Marty’s is a MUST try. The ambiance is relaxed but sophisticated and the food is to die for. Best pita I have ever had and they were generous with it! The eggplant dip and lemon potatoes were my favorites but you can’t go wrong. Lamb riblets, spinach pie, and octopus were all incredible as well. Our server Alex was friendly and attentive. We were visiting from out of town and will try to make it here every single time we’re in Brooklyn“

“I found an oasis in the busy city as well place to spend time while my wife is at art class. The atmosphere is very calm and relaxing, extremely clean. “Stopped in for drinks and an appetizer with my husband! Enjoyed the refreshing Captain Karpuzi which they use fresh watermelon in the drink! ?? Really cute atmosphere and friendly staff! We didn’t stay until happy hour but they showed us the menu and they have mini martini glasses and a special menu for happy hour too that looked fun!“

“I was walking by the stand when the amazing smell of the food made stop immediately. I went in and had the pork skewer dipped lemon sauce and it was AMAZING!!! Good amount of meat for the price and great service as well. Next time I come, I’ll take 5 of them and bring them home for dinner.“

“Everything about our experience here was so so amazing. The second we walked in the door all the servers were so warm and welcoming. When ordering our food they were incredibly patient despite being very busy and took the time to answer any questions we had and talk to us about Greek culture and cuisine. The food felt like a homecooked meal and I would not be surprised if there was someone's grandmother in the kitchen doing all the cooking. On top of all this, the feta....it changed my life. I am not sure where they get it from but I could eat it with a spoon from the jar. Highly, highly, highly recommend this restaurant.“

“I love Pi I enjoy getting my Greek frappe and other coffees from Pi. The pastries are exceptional and if you want to have lunch, you can also have fantastic Greek dishes. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable of the coffees and food that they serve. I go to Pi every time I’m in that neighborhood.“

“Food is terrific and authentic! In lieu of a bread basket they put down a plate of excellent pita and eggplant dip and also gave us and the tables around us a complimentary dessert (delicious). Not sure if this is typical or just for the particular night I was there. Service could be smoother... not bad, but someone should train the waitstaff to give people a few minutes to make menu selections (not come to the table 3 times in 10 minutes) and to check back in halfway through to inquire if anyone would like more wine/drinks. I had to stop the waiter to ask for a second glass of wine, which never showed up. The decor was pleasant and would've been pretty quiet if not for a large table of very boisterous people. Overall, a wonderful, authentic, local spot that I will definitely return to!“

“Family Corner is an amazing cozy family restaurant that my friends & fam have been going to for decades! It’s like “Cheers” where everyone knows each other’s name! The food is made fresh homemade with ♥️Love everyday! Their food is so tasty and the portions are generous. The staff & owner makes you feel part of their family. It’s intimate diner throw back to another time atmosphere is refreshing! The traditional Greek food is out of this world and very reasonably priced. And it has a thriving takeout/ delivery business.
