“Loved every dish- fluke with black tea, mint and peach(who knew raw fish and fruit went so well together?), amazing grilled artichokes and grilled eggplant. Barely touched my pasta with preserved lemon because I was full, but it was delicious. My daughter’s burger was iconic. The Platonic ideal of hamburgers. Coffee was also delicious. If we had not made a plan to go to La Cabral for dessert and more coffee, I am sure dessert would have been equally excellent.Service was excellent and our waitress was knowledgeable and interested in the food.The fluke reminded me of the first time I went to USC in 1988. I had a plate with raw marinated tuna, raw salmon and raw scallops. The little heaps of fish were so pretty on the plate with their contrasting colors.“

“This is such a great place in the WV, honestly sometimes it feels so hard to find a place that isn’t geared to tourists or sort of a bland palette. This restaurant is way more chic and interesting that most of the restaurants in the area while also serving approachable food. This will be my new go-to when I have something to do in the neighborhood. Not to mention the service was really great and the vibe of the space is just right. I must say it sometimes is lame to order the bread and butter but it is really spectacular!“

“We had an amazing experience here this evening. The atmosphere was extremely relaxing and chill. The simple artistic decor creates a serene atmosphere. The food is delicious. We especially loved the beef tartar, duck, miso cod, milk bread, and shirt rib. Sticky toffee pudding was rich, but somewhat delicate. Cocktails were well balanced. Everyone was extremely attentive and the attention to detail made the entire experience one to cherish. I highly recommend this place. It's tucked away, but worth the trip. “This was my first time coming into this establishment and it more than exceeded my expectations. The ambience is clean and modern. The staff is precise and charming. Definitely a level of sophistication in the atmosphere. I really appreciated the calm social vibe while meeting new people at the bar. I started with a caviar tasting along with a new take on a few of the standard accompaniments. I usually don’t like blinis but these felt like fluffy clouds of buttermilk biscuits. Their Dutch baby “Primadonna” pancake and lobster roll are to die for. Much of what is on the menu it’s imported from Italy of the finest ingredients. It’s always fun to take the ferry across from Manhattan to the Pepsi Cola Sign and walk a couple of blocks. They can accommodate large groups, children, pets, wheelchairs, (you name it) at their outdoor seating. Run there. 😊💕“

“This was my second time coming here. First experience was great. This experience was just okay. Our waitress was very aggressive when it came to ordering our food. Which I thought was strange since brunch was over at 4:30 (according to the website). We sat down a little pass 2pm. One of our friends was late and was rushed to order as well (we were still well within the time frame of brunch). The next problem was the waitress said we had to pay a 20% tip because of the size of our group which was six people. My thing is if that's the case it should automatically be added on the bill (that's what a lot of restaurants do). Still unsure about the 20 % tip because I checked the website and didn't see that information. We were hounded because we wanted to pay a different tip based on the service. The tipping amount is supposed to be based on how well the service was. This service didn't deserve 20%. The 20% was paid but we weren't happy about paying it. I'm disappointed because like I said my first experience for brunch here was great. The previous waitress was super nice and welcoming. We didn't feel rushed at all. Based on this recent experience I don't think me and my friends will be coming back here.“

“Those in the know won't worry to much about 5 leaves not being rated a 4.5 or higher, why you ask? Because it really doesn't matter when the ricotta pancakes are THAT FREAKING GOOD! Seriously every 3rd person orders those pancakes. They also have a great Mocha and black kale salad. If you're not in the mood for sweet fair try the moroccan scramble which is perfect for something light but filling. I got the BLAT on my first visit and it was also good. Now if you're there for dinner been warned the burger is quite filling but it will be worth it even if you gotta waddle home.“

“My wife and I went after a Saturday matinee. It was a short walk from the theatre and was not crowded based on the time of day. I couldn't decide between the burrito or enchilada, so the waiter, who recommended both highly, encouraged me to try the burrito. It was outstanding! The next day, I actually told my wife that I couldn't stop thinking about it. My wife had the pulled pork, and loved it. Luckily for me, she wasn't able to finish it, so I got to enjoy both the burrito and pulled pork :). Will definitely be coming back, but will try the enchiladas next time. “Had a wonderful brunch today at Hudson Clearwater. The smoothie was outstanding. This is a quaint rustic spot and deserves all the love for their vegan friendly menu. I chose the blackened fish sandwich and it did not disappoint. The Cole slaw on the brioche bun, lightly covered with tarter sauce, made for a perfect sandwich. Their fries were delectable as well.
