“The food is very good at this place A very quick easy meal“

“We eat at Hot Fish quite often, and usually order the same dishes. I was lucky enough to be their "Tasting Panel Foodie" winner, and was invited to try some different items from the menu. If you want to indulge in an unforgettable gastronomic experience, you have to try the Fresh Striped Bass. I ordered it with spicy sauce, but there are six different flavors to chose from. We also ordered the Sliced Beef with Black Pepper. The beef was so tender and juicy, paired with onions and bell peppers in a savory, black pepper sauce. Then we ordered Dry Pot Cabbage, a mouth-watering Sichuan dish that you have to try. For our last course, we had the Yang Chow Fried Rice, the best I have ever tasted. Thank you, Hot Fish. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and the staff and service were exceptional. I highly recommend dining here when you are looking for a great Sichuan experience.“

“We arrived with a reservation and were seated immediately. Our food was very good and prepared as ordered. Prices were vey reasonable and service was pretty good. It was a bit difficult to converse but worth the slight inconvenience. We'll return for the food and prices.“

“I ordered lotus root, mapo tofu, and white rice. The lotus was sweet with no other perceptible flavor and was undercooked. The white rice was overcooked and clumpy with little grain definition. The mapo tofu has a good balance of umami, numbing, and heat. It was a little too saucy, but overall a perfectly fine mapo tofu.“

Har gow / shrimp siu mai - 3/5, hard to get wrong, just didn’t love it, even with the soy sauce.
Chicken siu mai - 5/5, was my favorite
Sticky rice wrap - 1/5, mushroom and sticky rice was not my favorite
BBQ pork bun - 1/5, wasn’t my thing
Crispy shrimp roll - 4/5, pretty good“

“This is the best sushi place in LIC. when you walk in the workers and chefs are welcoming, attentive and super friendly. The miso soup tastes fresh and coconut curry was great! The salmon lovers sushi and sashimi was delicious ad so were the specialty rolls! will eat again!!“

I was about to hangout to karaoke place on 38th with friends but my date want to have dinner before meeting them. So I randomly googling food nearby bryant park and I found this place

Surprisingly this place really good. Ordered 4 types of dimsum. I kinda like 2 of them, the other two was good but not that special. Then I ordered lemongrass pork chop over rice and their passion fruit sparkling juice, OMG. The best.

Price also okay consider they are really in central area of Manhattan. Definitely will come back again soon.

Another thing, their servers sooooooooo nice and friendly. Applause to both of them who served my date and I at that night.“

“We stopped by Dim Sum Chelsea on a cold and wet day to get a snack and take a break after a lot of walking around. The restaurant was fairly slow and service was very attentive and friendly. We just wanted a nibble so we only tried the Lotus Rice and the Crab and Spinach dumplings paired with a shared bottle of hot sake. The food was hot and flavorful, the crab and spinach dumplings were juicy but my favorite was the lotus rice that was stuffed with a seasoned meat mixture. I only recently discovered this dish and now its a favorite! I would love to come back to try more dumplings if I'm ever back in the area.“

“Great dinner for my family tonight at this gem - just five minutes walk from Grand Central station. Unpretentious, authentic dim sum and excellent main dishes with rice, noodles, vegetables and more. The desserts were amazing - especially the black sesame balls and the mochi. The wonton soup was equally strong. Clean, balanced broth with well-made wontons and great texture. Comforting without being heavy.

Service was fast and courteous. The staff was attentive, efficient, and genuinely pleasant. Food arrived quickly without feeling rushed.

The pricing is very reasonable, especially given the quality and portion sizes. Strong value across the board.

I do wish the Szechuan food was a little more spicy, but the dishes we got, like Shrimp with silken tofu, Szechuan fish fillet with tofu, Dan Dan noodles, and Green Beans was very good. Prices are a little high and portions were small compared to Flushing, but the difference was not extravagant, and for three people we were able to be full for about $90 pre-tip, which is respectable.“

The food portion was very generous and decent Manhattan prices. She was very attentive and communicated often with me to make sure I was okay. She's a talker too and a good listener :). “We had a very pleasant experience on Sunday Feb 15 , 2 pm at Moon Kee. It was a party of 10 at one of the round tables, for a birthday. Some people were quite hungry, so we started ordering dim sum right away from the trolleys that were making the rounds. All of the dim sum dishes were excellent. The main dishes that came later were also on point: well cooked, tasty and quite large portions. Very few of us were able to finish our meals; many take-away containers were required. The staff kindly helped us serve out a birthday cake that we had brought in. My only small critique, which brought the atmosphere rating down to 4 stars, was that our table, which was the round one closest to the front door, would get blasted by a cold draft whenever the door opened. I recommend that they install some sort of windbreak entrance as you see at many restaurants.
Overall, a delightful experience, large quantities of delicious food at reasonable prices. Will definitely be going back, and will recommend to others.“

“Haven’t come here in a while. I ordered fried meat dumplings and soup dumplings to start my dinner. The dried dumplings came suspiciously fast, and I was right. They were precooked and kept heated. The dumpling itself was nice. The flavor was nice. It was the texture that was a bit off. The bottom was burnt but not crispy enough. A few of them were broken and the filling was visible.

The soup dumplings were okay. It was steaming hot. The wrapping was nicely done, but just a bit too thick to my liking. The flavors inside were a little bland. I didn’t like it with soy sauce, so I asked for vinegar, and it immediately made it better.

For main course, I got an orange beef. It was cooked very nicely. The beef was cut into bite size, and fried until they were golden and crispy. However, a few pieces were quite tough and hard to chew. The steamed broccoli was cooked perfectly! It was green and crunchy. It paired well with the dish. The rice was okay.

Overall, it was a nice meal. A little more expensive than I remembered, and the food quality was a little not as good as I remembered.“

“We had the Mala Xian Guo (spicy hotpot) and it was great overall. I wouldn’t recommend to put the bean curd roll and fried dough to it because it melted when it was cooked. An uncle was working all by himself when we went there but it was impressive he had everything covered. I’d come here again to eat Mala.“

“i No problem with getting a table. We had the crabmeat soup dumplings, haw gow, pork/shrimp shu mai, Singapore noodles, spicy shrimp, Chinese broccoli, half order Peking duck, bbq platter and Sapporo beer to wash it down. The duck was fresh with crispy skin and portion was just right for 2 people. Soup dumplings were flavorful, bbq platter was on the small side but tasty, spicy shrimp were great. I've order take out before but this was the first time eating at the restaurant. I was not disappointed and will be back again.“

The staff always accommodates my needs, and my food consistently arrives prepared exactly as I requested. On top of that, the prices are very affordable.
